But then, to take it a step further, I realized none of the toppings on the açaí bowl were fresh fruit. The toppings were shredded coconut, granola, almond butter and cacao nibs. When I saw they had açaí bowls, I thought it would include some fresh fruits- that's just been a feature of the hundreds of acai bowls I've consumed in my life, so I just assumed that was the case here.
