    Latte And Vegan Pop Tartlette
    Steve A.

Came to this cozy coffee shop in downtown Eugene. Dark Pine is a good place to sip on something hot when it's cool out. It has summer drinks too. Has pretty okay prices for being local. There's also a few pastries. A pretty chill place with more room than it looks. It's one of those order at the counter places. There's a good amount of tables. An odd thing is the decor. This looks unfinished, with temporary curtains and walls. It's about $5 for a latte. They have a few non dairy milks. Also there's a few pastries and doughnuts. It's $3 for the Vegan Pop Tartlette. Get it hot. They will toast it if asked to do this. Good better than average place for coffee. It's located in downtown on Pearl. There's also pastries including a few okay for vegans.

Once again, Dark Pine didn't disappoint. Back in town to visit the fam and dropped by for a quick cuppa. Ambience is cozy and warm, barista was super sweet and helpful and my coffee was perfect. Will continue to pop in when I'm in town. (An added bonus was we scored a parking meter that had time left on it. )

Fantastic vibes, well priced coffee, and friendly barista. Would definitely be my go to place if I lived in the area. Lots of cozy seating and workspace!

i ordered a vanilla cream tea late with honey and it was really good!! best tea i've had tbh. I sat at a table for a couple hours and it would get pretty busy in bursts I loved that the lighting wasn't super bright, it was a cozy dark vibe Paid parking around and right next to the location- i used the lot right next to it $5 for hour $9 for two $13 for three

    Hand crafted and most excellent.

The baristas at Dark Pine are artists. This invitingly comfortable place welcomes me every time I visit with a truly spectacular Americano, latte or the specialty of the day. Spacious, classy and comfortable with a very friendly and talented crew. From the outside you'd never know how very special this place is.

Basic but good coffee shop. Barista was friendly and efficient. I had an iced chai with almond milk and it was really tasty, they use Blue Lotus chai. Also got a bagel with cream which was fine. Lots of tables and a few cozier chairs inside, seems like it would be a good place to work remotely. I wish they had more food options, the day we went it was just pastries and bagels.

Coffee has that burnt flavor profile which is not to my liking. Tasted terrible service was good and a cool vibe.

There were a lot of issues with the order one of the issues was that the salad dressing was literally hot when it arrived. The steak was missing etc. I was contacted by the owner who apologized and sent me a full refund. I will be trying this restaurant again but maybe in person instead of delivery. I feel very grateful that someone listened and gave us a refund. Um. What. First time ordering from here and last time. Why would this be $85?. Paid extra for steak AND for extra serving of steak on all 3 orders and got a small serving of steak on 2 orders and chicken on the other one, definitely not extra. Ok. The dressing was hot. Paid for 3 extra servings of potatos on one order and got what looks to be a regular serving. Worried we might get sick coz if the order is this off ..who knows. Hope not. Wanted to like it!!! The chicken tasted ok. The fruit cups were good except i paid for extra fruit and well .. nothing looks like the photos at all. My family is throwing a fit and won't even eat it. Ugh. I will update my review if someone refunds me for what is missing. I usually only put up positive reviews but um...

It's not like going to a bad bar or even restaurant where you still can eat a few hours later. Coffee has a small window and a maximum amount of intake. That being said, this morning we chose wisely. Not only did we use Yelp but we backed up our decision with a google search and that took us to Reddit. Equiano was a top suggestion on both sites. And we understand why. The service was 100% top notch. Helpful. Friendly and knowledgeable, not only about what they offered but about the regions best shops! The coffee itself was very expressive. The Camaroon was totally my style with an earthier tone and the Chai was delightful. The outdoor seating was so very comfortable with a unique sort of panache that I would love to have at my neighborhood coffeeshop. The raked gravel was a nice touch. And even though they didn't have indoor seating with the drizzly day, it was a highlight that I will be repeating in our future travels.

Note this meal was on Saturday, not Sunday Mother's Day brunch : -1145am appointment and promptly seated. We were told it will take about 40 minutes to get our food which is fine. - 1200 the wait staff finally came by and took our total order (food and drinks) -1210 water was finally brought to table -1220 four of 5 beverages came out. - 1235 final beverage delivered. There is zero engagement from anyone between these long waits. -1255 three meals delivered. One missing something. - 100 one of the remaining meals delivered - 110 final meal and apology that it would be comped. That's 1.5 hours to get breakfast food for 5 people. The menu was good but the execution by the kitchen was inconsistent. At that point we just wanted to finally get out of there. Sitting there with tap water after finishing your first round of coffee/drinks a long time ago and hoping someone ever returns is crazy. The location is great, menu well constructed, and it was clean and welcoming. If you are looking for a place to just sit around and talk to each other for a couple hours and maybe, just maybe get some food or service at some point then this is the place for you. The one positive note was the barista slinging coffee drinks. She was working her tail off the entire time and all the coffee drinks were great. If anyone had come to ask we likely would have ordered more while we waited.
