Usually a line but that's how you know the community appreciates the cafe and the line moves steadily. Ordered a matcha ($5) and half order of sandwich ($8) with ham, fresh mozzarella, arugula, and the secret ingredient: apricot jam. Picked up a banana bc it's just $.50, too. The berry scone was delicious and skillfully baked. What caught my attention was the display of eye-catching tarot cards on sale, along with pieces of Paulo Santo to clear. A selection of unique decks that have been curated by the owner. A 3-card reading is also just $8 by a very gifted and clairvoyant psychic and medium: she's experienced and incredibly clear. Highly recommend getting a read. Tables are filled but the atmosphere is quiet and comfortable to work; there is also a couched sitting area at the other end of the store. They have a wall to celebrate canine friends, too. A clear sense of welcoming and hospitality permeates. Glad for such a community centric corner cafe. read more

Not bad, but not a wow factor There is a lot of potential in this coffee shop but the energy felt a little off. I think that this comes in two elements. First, the food that I tried was okay, but felt like it was missing something that would make me want to seek it out. The parts of the sandwich that I enjoyed was the feta with the Kalamata olives and other components. But there wasn't anything "unique" about this that set it aside from what I would make at my own place. The other tid bit that contributed to the atmosphere was the seating felt very tight with the tables close to each other and less open air. If you are interested in the energy/aura atmosphere of tarot, crystals, etc. they sold a small collection in their corner and the coffee shop had decor for this spread across. read more

The worst thing about this place is how popular it is. Good thing coffee to go is still great! For a small space they have a fair amount of seating, but at the most popular times it does fill up. However, when we get a seat we love to grab one of the games off the shelf and really spend time enjoying each other's company. It's the best place for that. I love the changing art on the walls, the bathroom is always clean, the baristas are always cheery and chatty, the service is quick and the coffee itself is as laid back as the whole rest of the atmosphere. It's a space for information and kindness and to decompress or charge up, whatever your need. Prices are decent too. read more

I feel like I owe this adorable cafe an update! They have grown so much since the first time I visited. First, their food menu has majorly expanded. Not only do they have the classic morning pastries, but a pretty impressive breakfast and lunch menu. Secondly, their drinks are delicious. These days my go-to caffeine fix has been the dirty chai. I've had many dirty chais all over Eugene, I can honestly say that Community Cup's is one of the more tasty ones. Last but certainly not the least, they have become well known as an inclusive and supportive space for the queer community of Eugene. Walked in and was greeted right away by a very friendly cashier. I couldn't make up my mind because everything looked and sounded delicious between the menu and the decadent pastries in front of me at the station. I ended up getting a buttery croissant and can I just say that it was one of the best ones I have had in awhile?! Something so simple but enjoyable. Love this coffee shop!! I have been searching for a coffee shop in Eugene that meets a few requirements: an appetizing and filling vegan food option, wifi and space for studying, great coffee, near enough to campus and with friendly staff. I can happily say Community Cup Coffee meets these requirements! I visited a few days ago and got the vegan sandwich option (forget the name), with vegan mayo and tons of veggies inside. It was a great light and healthy vegan breakfast! I ordered a mocha with oat milk as well, which was pretty good. Walked in this place after driving by and seeing the cute little seating area. I walked in, it was clean and inviting and welcoming. The staff greeted me and I placed my order with a young, blonde man who was kind, helpful & nice. I Loved seeing the organic fruit at the register for sale too. Bonus! I had a wonderful turkey and provolone sandwich on an everything bagel with cream cheese. They were so nice to oblige and make my sandwich on a bagel. The espresso was outrageously delicious. Was super happy to have that made very promptly. I sat there for about 20 minutes on the cozy, clean couches and enjoyed my sandwich. It was absolutely delicious and fresh. The turkey was amazingly delicious. Looked like Thanksgiving turkey! Moist and hand cut. Quality goes a LONG WAY for me! I will definitely be back. Super lovely cafe!! I stopped in here a couple times to get breakfast and it was a beautiful environment. The employees were super sweet and friendly and I loved that they bring you your order wherever you sit down. It felt very personal and kind. I will say I'm not sure if I was a fan of their hot coffees? I had gotten a cappuccino and latte and both times it tasted perhaps a little too bitter. But maybe that's just me. A great space for catching up with a friend, hanging out by yourself, or getting some work done. Last time I was there I noticed the games and open tarot decks in the back for people there to use. This coffee shop was the first one I visited in Eugene! When entering, there is a long seating space with community tables which is great for meeting new people if you feel up to it! There are fun knick knacks at the front entry that you can purchase as well! The food menu consists of a couple different bagel types and sandwiches. You can even get yogurt and oatmeal. My favorite order so far has been an Asiago Cheese bagel with cream cheese and cucumbers. You can customize your bagels depending on ingredients that they have. Unfortunately, I haven't tried the coffee just yet because I normally just drink the water. Definitely recommend this place if you haven't checked it out yet! I've gone here three times now--once for a matcha latte which was perfectly herbal, exactly what I seek in a matcha, again for their quiche of the day (excellent, so fluffy and creative flavors) and their special latte which was a honey brown sugar latte, and then today for their croissant and another special drink, a s'mores mocha. This used to be my favorite place to study and relax with a cup of coffee, but they have recently changed their WiFi to block websites that students and remote workers use, including Canvas and other uoregon websites.
