There's always some kind of event going on, and if there isn't; you can literally just bring enough of your friends and store owner is usually plenty happy to fire something off- Lana was really helpful, she informed me that I could even get my phone fixed here! I've been to a ton of game stores in Vegas, and this probably my favorite one, which is great because it's super close to my house. I come here with my son all the time and we both love it. The variety of games is REALLY impressive. They always have something good in stock. Prices are excellent. Customer service is top-notch. Don is super friendly and down-to-Earth. Unwelcoming beyond belief. As an avid game player, my buddy and I were excited to rejuvenate our youth and dive into Magic the gathering and Dungeons and dragons. We wanted to involve ourself in the community and take up new hobbies. We came loaded w cash on our day off and ready to invest in some starter packs. Since we were new, we were looking for advice how to get started and sought the "experts" working in the store. What we received was an appalling display of everything not to do to gain a customer. The associate, was rude, he was uninterested in answering our "beginner" questions and snarky was his best quality. So we politely moved on to someone else who hopefully had more time for us. Apparently we met the owner next. Sadly, he was more dismissive and rude then his associate. We heard things like "I haven't been a new player in 20 years", recurved almost no help or information and had about as unwelcoming of a feeling as we could imagine. We left the store without buying a thing and questioning whether this is the type of community we want to invest our time and money in. We know this is a just microcosm of the people as a whole and have since met very informative and patient people wanting to add to the gaming community. but wow, as ambassadors for these games and literally making money by bringing in players, it is shocking to me how this place stays in biz. I will never spend a cent there and recommend anyone should choose any other game store over this dumpster fire for as long as this ownership exists. read more

My first time here I walked in and was instantly hit by nostalgia. Stopped by to grab a quick gift. The owner of the store was polite and helped me find a nice game for the retro console I purchased. Defiantly a place to stop by if your looking for some old school games or to grab an awesome gift! read more

My buddy and I went in here on a Saturday because they're supposed to have a Pokemon card game thing going. We walked in and kind of browsed around awkwardly nobody greeted us and when another customer walked in they were greeted so we just kind of left and took our business elsewhere. I don't know if they have a back room or what they have set up for playing but when we went there there was only one little table set off that maybe four people can play. But I really wouldn't know if they have anything else because nobody cared to talk to us when we were trying to find out. read more

Very good staff noticed right away we were there and offered us help. They got good prices for single pokemon cards that aren't graded. The preorder for the shining fates set that will come out is $10 more but it is understandable because it is a preorder and would be a hot set. read more

Great store with wonderful people. Prices a bit high but that is Understandable because they are a small business but I am only giving three stars due to lack of game choices. I wish they would sell more than just Pokémon and magic the gathering they used to sell dragon ball ccG but then they stopped. I don't know why if they would add Yu-Gi-Oh and dragon bar to their inventory they might attract more customers than just the bass Pokémon and magic players. They used to sell dragon ball then they stopped and they still have Yu-Gi-Oh on their window in the front of store so I wish they would start having these games and other games added so that people don't need to drive all the ways to we play games to get other gaming cards because they being near Southpoint makes it easier for residence to get their cards through them instead of driving all the way to Wii play games. So they should add to their inventory to attract more customers and make more money I for one would be coming to their shop every release For Yu-Gi-Oh and dragon ball and spend more money with them then losing money driving to Wii play organic other shop that's far from me I hope they read this review and reconsider adding more to their inventory read more

Went to GP Vegas and met the owners, Don and Paul. I needed 300 more cards for my MTG Legacy Cube and they told me they'd get me all the cards by the next day. They fulfilled 99% of the cards I needed under 24 hours. They saved me tons of time and now I have a cube! They're fantastic guys that work hard. Took my son's iPad mini here after my he managed to drop it and cracked the screen. They did an amazing job fixing it going above and beyond. Despite having to order in the necessary parts the turn around was fast and the price was fair. Way less than what the other guys wanted to charge me. read more

One reason will explain this review: Poor Customer Service. I showed up to the store at 1:50pm on 6/22. The door was open so I assumed the store was open. I asked the employee if he could help me with purchasing some Dark Confidant x3 foils (about $200 value). All he responded was "No sir we are closed." I understand after the fact that the store did not open for business until 2pm. However, if the front door is open and there is an employee in the store a few minutes before the start of business I believe you need to assist the customer. This should be common sense for any successful business owner especially in a market where there is a good amount of competition. There are plenty of stores in Vegas that have much better service than this store and I will be happy to never bring my business to this store ever again. read more

I will say that though the customer service here is great, and their Magic: The Gathering singles selection is great, the sole reason I gave a 5 star rating for this place is because of their bathroom. Let me explain. You're at an FNM and you've been eating Del Taco and sipping on a large coke. Suddenly nature calls. The only bathroom available is the one provided by the gaming establishment. How many times I recall entering one such bathroom and wanting to curl up in disgust at the lack of cleanliness and foul smell emanating from the normally dilapidated toilet. It's rare to find a bathroom much different than one you'd find at a truck stop in Bumfuck, Kansas. But not here. This is truly a special bathroom, with lovely scents and a warm welcoming decor. The toilet is spotless. The toilet paper never lacking. The hand soap is of European quality. They have this guy, Tom, who cleans it so well he'd put my aunt (who works as a maid) to shame. I don't know how he does it. To clean up after a notoriously unhygienic pack of nerds is a feat in and of itself. I commend this store for providing my bum a clean, comfortable place to sit and answer natures call. Well done guys. Bravo. read more
