Have you ever had an interest come to your recommended page and you had no idea what it was about? That would be Warhammer for me. I also discovered my interest for it during the Secret Level episode five on Warhammer that's on Amazon Prime however, the more I was on the online, I was not sure what was cannon or fan fic anymore . The more I got into the lore, the more interested I was about the art and the story behind it. Lo and behold, there was an actual Warhammer Store in my area. Jafo is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in all my questions he gives you enough space for you to explore, but is available if you have questions on how something works or how to get started. There is a lot of information for me to understand, but I would definitely come back to learn more about the hobby itself. I end up purchasing two books at a very decent price and I was already reading so much more about it. The age group varies on the hobby itself, but everyone seems to be very welcoming and supportive. If you are new to this like I am, I would strongly recommend visiting this store as they have a great selection of items for you to browse or get into. Everything is very organized and very clean and I appreciate the openness of it all highly recommend. read more

I just saw three different groups of people including myself try to walk into the store at 11:15-11:30 and the door was locked. Either it's a mom and pop shop and run very leniently and I just popped in the first time expecting something else, or morning shift put in their notice and quit a bit early. I'm upset! I lived 25 minutes out and wanted to make a purchase before I go out running some errands, all the other people that tried to get in looked like they were wanting to make purchases too. Jafo was very welcoming, informative, and helpful. My boyfriend was super interested in this some years back and is slowly getting back into it, while I'm just getting my feet wet. My bf and him discussed many subjects and I tried my best to absorb it all. On the left of the store is the regular Warhammer 40,000 merchandise while the right has the Age I of Sigmar fantasy stuff. The selection is great, in comparison to other game shops we've been to. The prices are comparable to the other spots. This is a Games Workshop company store while others are authorized retailers. That's important to note because Jafo was appointed here as a specialist/expert whatever you want to call him. He's the resources guy! Jafo walked us through building a miniature. I didn't have enough time for him to direct us through painting but I'm very excited about this new of ours and I'm happy to come back! read more

Update your hours online if you're going to close early. I arrived at 2:50 on a Wednesday, apparently they close from 3-4pm on these days for a lunch break. No big deal but I wish that is communicated online. I went to target and came back at 4:15 and they were closed, says on the board by the front door for Wednesdays you close at 5. read more

My fiancé has been into Warhammer for about two years now. He has always said how wonderful the store is as well as the others who come to play. Visited a second time and the owner was informative and very kid friendly to a lady visiting with her little one.

The past two days I've been trying to buy paints and support my local store, but they've had the same sign up saying they had to leave early and will open tomorrow at the regular time. I swing by at 12 noon which is an hour after they're supposed to be open which is 11am. How can I support the store if you're not open. It's conflicting because the guy who runs it seems like a good guy and the store is usually stocked with what I need but it's inconsistent and hard to shop there when there's dozens of stores throughout Vegas and Henderson that carry Warhammer products that I need and open when they're supposed to be and usually a bit cheaper than actual Games-Workshop. I hope everything is going well with the manager that runs the store but I can't shop at a store that isn't open. read more

Starting back in 2023, I moved out to Las Vegas to be closer to family. I was eager to visit my new local Games Workshop/ Warhammer store just to find them closed during normal business hours. For the next year I focused on my kids entering new schools as well as adjusted to my career changes. Fast forward to the release of Space Marine 2 and my hype has been rekindled. Contacted the Warhammer store and had a nice conversation with Jaffo. He assured me he has a stock of Space Marine Codexes and always has them in stock. I spent the next few weeks until today just trying to get in his door. Every time I come by the store is closed. Coming from North Las Vegas, I can't risk the drive down there just to find out the doors are closed. When the doors are finally open, He doesn't have the one item I was told he would have. Should've just bought the item on Amazon weeks ago rather than attempt to support a business with no respect for its customers and their time. I will happily go to any of the other local hobby shops from this point forward. And I have called before going in. I don't just waste my time and gas. The hours they post are confusing. I showed up at 1 PM and the doors were locked. It said they would return at 11 AM. the hours posted showed that they should be open. New to Warhammer and this store. Went for first time last weekend and felt welcomed right away. The owner is amazing and helped me out a lot. I am starting with Necron's and had nothing but the codex so far. He helped me pick the best box for me as well as paints. I spent this week getting them built and primed. I walked in here wanting to learn about playing warhammer and buy something cool. I walked around the small store, tried to make eye contact with whoever, no one would look directly at me or give me the time of day to at least nod or say hi. No one was playing a game, people were just casually talking. Makes me feel like the people working here at the time, in my opinion, are either racist or just don't give a crap about people they don't know. That is NOT how you run a business or a community games shop. Edit: And then some have the audacity to vote this review as funny. This is not funny. Although a little small, I can say it probably more than does the job even handling campaigns. The dude that worked there was very friendly and helped me catch up with warhmmer 40k that I haven't played for at least the last 10 years. Unfortunately the wife, aka the BOSS, says no. My wife gets a special roll where on a 1+ I lose the game to wife aggro. Maybe once my son gets old enough then it's "father and son" time? Screw fishing. read more

The store manager here is awesome, he's incredibly engaging with all the customers and after only being in town a week and going to the store twice he helped me find some miniatures that were previously unavailable in store. His painting knowledge is incredible and offers classes to everyone on how to paint your miniatures fast and well. Friendly atmosphere, good crowd. I make a point of visiting Games Workshop stores I'm every town I go to and this is one of my favorites. Worth a visit! read more

Absolutely amazing. I'm very new to Warhammer and went to the store wanting to pick up some paint supplies for my Grey Knights. The guy there was incredibly helpful and really nice, he helped me understand what I needed to paint, offered me some painting tips, just overall really nice. It was a pleasure to go inside and I would absolutely recommend to anyone, though admittedly you don't really have a choice as this is the only location aside from the website in Vegas.
