Rounding up simply because they seem like they are trying to get established in the area and are quite friendly. Scheduling was easy and they even offered to give me a ride which was not needed, but truly appreciated. Sadly, the quality of work just isn't there. The window tint on 2 of my windows is peeling on the edge and squeaking and there are hundreds of small bubbles/debris in the tint from what I am assuming is poor quality microfiber towels used to clean the windows. The tint was also not cut properly in several areas leaving an unsightly gap at the top of each side window. I went back to inquire on having them redo the windows and received a great deal of pushback and excuses about the debris. In the end they agreed to redo 2 of the windows, but given the results I later decided that I wouldn't really be happy and am going elsewhere to have my tint redone. If you aren't picky and just looking for a good price this place might be for you, but if you have a nice car or are an enthusiast who appreciates high quality of work it is probably best to look elsewhere. Hopefully the owner(s) take this review as an opportunity to perfect their craft and work toward better results for their customers. I always hesitate to leave less than favorable reviews for any business, but I have to be honest when I say my experience just wasn't great. read more

Just used these guys and will be using them again in the future! Yes, the tint job is great; there are no streaks, bubbling, or issues and their prices are more than reasonable. However, why I think they deserve 5 stars is their exceptional level of service. They were communicative throughout the process and got me in and out ahead of schedule. I really appreciated their upfront, no nonsense, honest, and straightforward approach from the first time they quoted me to when I picked up my car. Additionally, they do detail work including paint correction/protection which I will be using them for with my next vehicle, too. I'm very impressed and would recommend them to anyone. read more

We had our truck windows done with them and suppose to have lifetime warranty. We were not given paperwork since it was darker than legal but were guaranteed it would be in the system and we would not have any problems with warranty if we ever needed it. Our tinting is peeling and they will not honor the warranty. The customer service on the phone and in person was very poor. We would not recommend them for anything since they do not honor the lifetime warranty. read more

BEWARE! This business name was purchased about 4 months ago. These are not the same owners that spent years building a quality name in Eugene. I won't be personal but these guys tried twice to tint my new car's rear window (two attempts with 2 separate sheets) and could not get the job done without substantial bubbling. The worst part is that one of the owners insinuated that was lying about running my rear defrost, which I did not, and that I was to blame for the problem. I specifically asked that question when the tint was installed. Why would I want to ruin something that I paid good money for? I went to a real tint shop and they said that the second sheet had to be completely removed and job redone. Guess what? New tint job is perfect. Darkside's quality and professionalism are just plain bad. Nightmare experience! read more

I dropped off my my sons car here today and as always Ty and his guy did an excellent job! I have taken all of my cars here for years and have never been disappointed. My son almost went to a competitor and Ty was able to price match. The only complaint my son had was he was supposed to take his car some where else at a certain time and he was told his car would be done at a certain time and it was a few hrs late. But I get that quality takes time. So he had to reschedule his other apt. I'm not going to hold it against Darkside because they really do quality work and they have done a fantastic job on all of our cars through out the years. I will continue to bring any future car to them. I have photophobia so I love the tint! It helps with my migraines! read more

I was told the windows would be dark enough that no one could see through. Unfortunately, that was not true. I am very unhappy with the job. i called to see if they could darken them, even offered to pay for it, but they blew me off. I do not recommend this business for a couple of reasons. Okay, first of all... the people ( Alex & Ty ) at Darkside Tinting are consummate professionals. So, anyone who claims that they are anything less, does not know them and / or works for ( or is related to ) their competition. Pretty suspicious that they name a specific competitor in their 1 star review. Moving on... We have used Darkside for years & just had our fifth vehicle tinted by them last month ( May 2017 ). It looks great as usual. Very reasonable prices, high quality product, perfect install! What else could you ask for? They have our business for life.
