The other places were rude and seemed bothered that I was asking questions. They just wanted to replace the whole thing so they could bill the insurance even more! The moment I called, this place was different. Amanda, the receptionist was friendly and helpful. When I arrived, Dewey was the pro that helped me. He answered every single question I had, took time to explain his work, asked another colleague for his input and really heard me out. He took extra time out of his day to work some magic (he did so much more work than was required) to repair that complex chip so incredibly well, I was blown away! My car had a chip in my windshield due to a rock hitting it. I instantly did my research and I found Eugene Windshield repair. I made an appointment and I had missed it by a half hour. They closed within 30 minutes by that point. I made the decision to race over there to get it checked out at least. I get there and instantly after I walk in the doors, the office ladies had greeted me and they were very kind. They had there repair guy come out and take a look. Turns out, he would be able to fix it before they close. I felt so relieved and thankful that they were able to fix it. The office ladies also helped me contact my car insurance for pricing. Just replaced the windshield of my Newell Coach @ the cost of $5000.00. Three (3) months later while traveling on the I-5 another rock kicked up creating another MAJOR chip. One company upon examination told me they could not repair it. After speaking with the glass manufacturer they referred me to Eugene Windshield Repair. Fantastic customer service from start to finish. Had a small rock hit my windshield but didn't see the chip because it was right on the edge of the glass. Finally noticed it when the crack was a couple inches long. Everything was explained to me in detail prior to them starting any work. I waited in a large conference room until the crack was fixed. The person who did the work then explained exactly what was done and showed me there was a VERY slight hint of where the crack had been. Honestly, the customer service could not have been any better. I had two, but four after repairman looked at it, tiny chips in my front window. They were small chips that I thought were bug splatter at first. I wasn't sure if they were fixable, but I certainly didn't want them getting worse. From my insurance info, I called Eugene Windshield Repair. The repairman came to my house within the hour. My insurance company, State Farm, is about the only major one that doesn't cover repair of windshield chips/cracks, but the $75 cost for two small star-shaped cracks was very reasonable.
