This is the cutest donut shop! Variety of different donuts and very tasty! Staff were really nice. I was very impressed if you're in the mood for some delicious donuts this is a place to go!

Took me long enough but I finally made it! With doughnuts being over 4 dollars a piece I opted for just one. I'm glad I did though not only because of the price but, because let's face it, I would've ate all of them. I absolutely love churros - then again who doesn't? So I decided to get the churro doughnut but to my surprise, it was spicy. that's why I deducted a star. apparently they put cayenne pepper in their chocolate. Is it just me or is that weird? The donut itself was so soft and fluffy and it was perfectly seasoned with sugar and cinnamon. I would definitely subtract the chocolate with the cayenne next time or at least put chocolate without cayenne if you would? Can you do that? but anyways, yeah, I'll be back. I'll try some other flavors. I'll dig in that pocket of mine. Besides, you know what they say - hashtag Yolo.

Finally made it to Darling while they were open. I'm not often in the area at just the right time to indulge in the many choices that they have daily. We arrived towards the end of the day-just before they closed...so there weren't a ton of options (as expected). The donuts are pretty big and very tasty. Fluffy in texture with decadent toppings. Love that they have smaller bite size options available as well. They're a bit pricey for fried dough but that's the norm for specialty donuts these days. Staff was friendly and helpful- plus it was super clean and inviting inside. One of these days I'll make an effort to get there earlier to experience the larger selection of fresh daily yums.

Butter and salt mini donut with two iced lattes mine

We enjoyed a "mini" butter and salt donut. It was delicious wi the great texture and just enough for two bites each. We also had iced lattes mine with a mocha cayenne flavor. The kick of cayenne was a pleasant offset to the sweetness of the chocolate syrup. The service was prompt and efficient. We weren't able to enjoy sitting outside as a larger party used all the chairs there but we sat at the inside bar. I'm sure if we lived in Saratoga Springs this would be a regular spot for us.

I really tried to find one worthy...

The good...Cute store pretty looking doughnuts. Friendly counter staff. The bad...definitely not top 10 in NY State. I came in to try one and because they looked so appealing I ordered 6 full size. Is it possible to have a bland doughnut...yes! The ones that are filled are severely under filled...SEVERELY! The doughnut is square and minimal filling is on ONE side of the doughnut. At $28 for 6 doughnuts this stop is not what it's hyped up to be! If you say a doughnut is filled...fill it So very very sad I wasted my money. I hate to say it but better doughnuts can be found at chain stores. Definitely will not be back.

Make sure that you Stop in early before they sell out! Loved the cinnamon sugar and pumpkin fritters!

Visited during racing season so it was a bit busy and this place had a line out the door on each morning so we knew we had to give it a try. My husband LOVES donuts. He got a chocolate covered one that he said was delicious. I am a plain glazed girlie - so that is what he got me. Unfortunately it was too doughy for my liking. It was almost cake like texture. It was very heavy. You could easily split one of these for breakfast. I prefer my donuts lighter and airy but if you like more of a pastry style then this place is for you. they have a bunch of really cool flavors and super cute decorated ones. Employees were super nice and friendly.

I have wanted to go here for awhile but decided to finally take a road trip when they did a Twin Peaks special. This place is great. Wonderful people and delicious donuts. Check out my IG for a video I made about the trip. @brianricci

This shop is clean and the counter girl is nice enough. Good selection of donuts with intriguing flavors. Unfortunately that was it. The donuts are overpriced for what you get (the box of 9 minis came to $18). The flavors were just not there. Tasty donut but lacking flavor--except the margarita which was pretty salty. I was excited based on reviews but cannot bring myself to spend so much on these small donuts again. Plus the Boston crème was the only filled one, which was disappointing.

Cute little donut shop on the main street in Saratoga Springs. There is donuts and there is coffee amongst other drinks. There is also a few different merchandise items and some other items for purchase. We tried three donuts, including red velvet, cookie butter, and peanut butter cup. We've been wanting to try this place for a while because it's been reported in the news that they have one of the best donuts. Although the donuts weren't the best we've ever tried overall they are good donuts. Our favorite one was the cookie butter. They also have miniature donuts of the similar flavors that they have in the case. They also have doggy donuts which are a few donut holes with optional whip cream on top. our dog loved these. I also got an iced latte with hazelnut and this was pretty good.

Probably best quality and flavors of donuts I've had. Must stop by if you are upstate New York.

Donuts so light and delicious that every donut from a donut chain will seem like an abomination.

Best. Donuts. Ever. I had heard good things, but wasn't expecting these to be as good as they were. They were decent sized, moist, and tasted absolutely perfect! We got a half dozen (flavors in picture caption) and every single one was great! Our top two favorites: the galaxy glazed and the banana pancake. (Banana pancake was the single best donut I've ever had.) Must try!

Uncommon Grounds had all the makings of a fine sit n' sip: high ceilings, superfluous interior arches, mildly darkened aesthetic, tin ceiling tiles, and an abundance of screamin' local artistry dressing up the joint. Brothers and sisters... I was stoked about the possibility of churning out some real Aldi-grade literature at one of the chunky timber perches. I was ready for a slammin cup of joe and a sick-ish vibe. Alas, all I got from behind the counter was a jersey stuffed with caustic disdain and affected arrogance. It was impressive in that the tone, delivery, volume and words were all brilliantly matched in conveying unmistakable I-wish-you'd-get-the-flip-outta-my-space-clappery. I know the exact phrasing and such would go a long way here, but the whole dang affected setup I received from the other side of the counter would be hella exhausting to recount. And not worth my time. To be clear, my time really ain't worth all that much. Now I could go on to tell you about the rest of the experience, the quality of the bagels and the consistency of the schmear, and the tones you'll find playing throughout the house-roasted brews. But as a journeyman writer in the café world, I'm not gonna waste any more descriptors on the brat-infused tea steeping at the front of house. Why? Simply because cafés are more than the drink and grub. Cafés are as solid an offering of what culture Earth has to offer across its varied continents, countries, and street corners. They are something to engage with and experience directly. Like riding a scooter across Vietnam. Like a Moroccan food market. Like wiping volcanic ash off your hiking boots after a day's hike in Cinder Cone. If the human engagement of the place is reprehensible, then in IMHO the treats and steeps don't matter. Disappointments happen. That's for sure. But I'm only gonna spend two more sentences telling you what you probably already gathered about this place. It's slippin' baby. It's slippin'.

This was an amazing experience. Every touch point was a pure joy, from the moment I entered and was promptly and politely seated, to the last few minutes as I chatted with one of the owners, Chris. Every single interaction we experienced gave us the comfort of being amongst friends who were happy to see us, and more importantly happy to be here. From our fully engaging server to the wonderful highschool sophomore who never let our water glasses get below half full, each and every person made our experience just that: an experience of excellence and perfect attention to detail. Our meals were just as delicious as the people. The Grilled Double-Cut Pork Chop was an absolute triumph--impeccably juicy, beautifully charred, and perfectly balanced by earthy morels, rich creamed ramps, and the bright, sweet pop of local cherries. The reimagined "Ratatouille" was a stunning work of art, featuring a beautifully seared zucchini steak, smoky eggplant crème, and a crisp, fresh nest of squash topped with plump, perfectly grilled shrimp. For the perfect conclusion, the Espresso Crème Brûlée delivered a silky, robust coffee custard beneath a shatteringly crisp caramelized crust, brilliantly elevated by the crunch of cacao nibs.
