After walking out of another restaurant for zero service, we found Cantina which was for the best. We were seated immediately and tended to.We ordered some drinks and they started us with chips and salsa. We ordered entrees. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Our food was delicious and portions were big. We would definitely come back.

We stopped in for a margarita. So glad we did. The three of us had the Ultra Margarita which was not made with margarita mix and had Hornitas Cristolina 100% agave tequila. It was the best margarita either of us had ever had. We sat at the bar. They give you complimentary chips and salsa. We will definitely return and try their food next time.

So I got together with some pals for a birthday shindig and let me tell you it was a real fiesta! I had a strawberry margarita mocktail that was so delicious it made me want to sing along to mariachi music and the shrimp tacos were amazing but beware they're spicy with a capital S! We shared some churros for dessert and the next thing I knew I was belting out Spanish tunes. The service was top notch and atmosphere was fun!! All in all it was awesome food awesome drinks and the best company!

Not your traditional Mexican spot! I loved the layout of the restaurant, it had such a city vibe. Starting off with drinks - I had a mojito and it was probably the worst mojito I've had. For this to be a Mexican restaurant I feel drinks that go on theme need to be on point. The mojito tasted like pure lime. It was just one tone. Food - amazing!!!! I tried the "coco camarones" (coconut shrimp) and it was one of the best appetizers I've had! Unfortunately I did not get a picture because it was that good and by the time I remembered I had already ate them! lol For my main course I had the spicy shrimp tacos and all I can say is WOW. I don't know what they put in them but BEST shrimp tacos I have ever tried. If I ever come back to the Saratoga area I'm coming back for them!!! I did snap a picture of the spicy shrimp tacos which I will share. Overall I definitely recommend this spot! Loved the vibe!

Visiting from out of town and a friend recommended we meet for dinner here. We were able to get a reservation for a table last minute and we only waited a few extra minutes for our table, since it was Taco Tuesday! They had good specials - $3 per taco (a la carte) with lots of options, $2 coronitas. Our service was friendly and fast and we never felt rushed to order or get up! I had the a la carte taco specials. The street corn and fish tacos were the standout! My fiancé had the Mahi burrito bowl and it looked super fresh. Great marg options but a missed opportunity to not have a special on margs on Taco Tuesday! I would give 3.5 stars if I could. Good not great!

Nice ambiance. very busy with a cool vibe on a Saturday night. Really good ambiance. It was very full so the food took a while but was worth it. The carne asada fajitas were quite good. Usually these are grilled and served in a hot sizzling platter. These were served in a plate and had the sauce from the cooking. They were not grilled but had plenty of onions and peppers. The drippings were totally delicious and elevated the dish.

Complimentary chips and salsa was nice. Very thick and crunchy. Spicey salmon tacos were very good as were the Biria tacos. Good margaritas. Outdoor tables available.

Outstanding Mexican restaurant. This was such a great experience Went with friends and we really enjoyed the outstanding food and service. The restaurant has a huge bar dedicated to tequila. All of the food we ordered was very good. The shrimp appetizer along with the chicken wings were over the top. Looking forward to a return visit.

What a gem. What a vibe. WHAT a cocktail menu…read more Tucked away, totally unpretentious, but with a STAGGERING, almost-unbelievable range of martinis and martini-adjacent cocktails in this fall/winter-perfect, cozy, mostly-paneled speakeasy that's also evocative of a semi-secret lobby bar of an old hotel (it's not though!) Even the music selections made it sound like prohibition era jazz standards were drifting in from another room. It manages to be simultaneously totally old school and totally hip, fancy-feeling and swanky, but also with the ease of a local watering hole... no easy feat. From t-shirts to suits, locals to newbies, it has a totally come-as-you-are, everybody's-welcome atmosphere. Even the locals made us feel at home, giving us great insight into several restaurants all less than a block or two away. Wines and beers also available, but mixology is the main act here. We were there over two separate bartender shifts, both times on a quiet Sunday late-afternoon into evening, but both gents have it all down to a science without forsaking the art of crafting a cocktail. They pushed my formerly-favorite Manhattan (at NYC's King Cole Bar, there, as much for the environs as the drink) squarely out of the top spot, and as I told our bartender after I spied a semi-hidden bottle of Chartreuse and he offered to make an off-the-menu Last Word, it was the first time I fully understood that drink. That hard-to-find liquid green-gold is in VERY good hands at 9 Maple! Perfect for date night, but also welcoming to the lone visitor in search of a PERFECTLY crafted, amply -poured cocktail. Eat before you arrive, or pop back after dinner for a nightcap. Although we were there for off-season, an outdoor courtyard hints at higher traffic when the weather's warmer and the horses are racing. And even off-season, Jazz band nights attract a crowd. This place should really be on more national Top Cocktail Bars lists. It's that good.

Finally had a chance to try Kindred last week(end)…read more I was honestly won over when we first walked in....we didn't have a reservation but asked if they could accommodate two for dinner. The hostess/server was awesome: not pretentious and looking down her nose at us since we didn't have a reservation. She did say that she needed the table by 7 PM. No problem! That said, it was pretty busy for being early in the evening. Guests kept coming in as we were getting ready to depart. The food that we tried was very good: -the chips with crème fraîche were very nice, but I don't know that I would go out of my way for these again. I really enjoyed the chips themselves... very thin and light ...and quite salty (in a good way). A little bit of fish roe is mixed in for "extra saltiness" and a little bit of a fishy experience in the crème fraîche. -Brussel sprouts for me were the winner! Absolutely delicious and we added some chicken so that we'd have a little bit of protein. Grilled chicken was perfectly flavored and not dry at all. Brussels sprouts had just the right amount of char and umami. -flatbread was honestly my least favorite. We stuck with the basic burrata/Margherita pizza/flatbread, and after eating the brussels sprouts it just didn't hold up in terms of flavor. Some of the other options might be better if you're looking for more of a flavor punch.... but it was served steaming, hot, and freshly made. As more people showed up, it definitely got noisier... so prepare for a bit of a loud environment...pretty much the same situation in all downtown Saratoga restaurants these days. I will definitely go back and try some other items on the menu.
