Whistling Andy is a great pit-stop for thirsty travelers who want a taste of Montana in a relaxed…read moresetting! Aside from serving great spirits and unique cocktails made with local ingredients, Whistling Andy is also very community-focused, a value which I've always admired. My wife and I stopped here on our drive from Big Sky to West Glacier and had a blast! The staff was friendly and offered numerous drink recommendations, so we ended up sharing three different gin cocktails since we could not make a decision. The Huckleberry Gin Fizz was delicious, packed with tangy citrus and huckleberry puree. The Farmer's Daughter was refreshing and flavorful, fused with cucumber and rosemary. Lastly, but certainly most unique, the Herbivore surprised us with it's fusion of gin, lime, basil, agave and... balsamic! Don't be scared off by the inclusion of vinegar, it complements the other ingredients perfectly. (You'll be happy you tried it.) We enjoyed our Whistling Andy experience so much that we stayed for two hours and purchased two bottles to take home. We're now excited to share the Cucumber Gin and the Pink Peppercorn Gin with our family and friends. If I'm ever ordering a drink while in Montana, I always ask the bartender if they have any Whistling Andy Gin behind the bar!

I really don't understand how the service in this place works because there really was none whatsoever. They put empty glasses on the table. I had to stand and fill everybody's water myself just what I wanted to do on my night off. So pretty much all I drank in a three hour Period was water and one drink never got food and the gal next to me that I had just met in our flyfishing group never even got her drink or her food. To say the least, my drink was ok, but the service was a disappointment and I never received food to review.! Definitely won't be driving from Columbia falls to this establishment again! She also just came and brought us our checks. Never once asked how anything was if we needed anything or how things were going. I would have drank way more than the one drink I was offered.

Spencer treated us and our home with care and respect. He diagnosed the problem, fixed the problem and even helped show us about the filters and the overall system. Spencer is our hero today. This will NOT heat your house if there is wet snow or below freezing (house temp is 55 to 65 degrees). After I purchased it, I was told I would need supplemental heat, space heaters or woodstove. If you turn it off it taked around 6 hrs to reheat the house and the "features" are useless. If you set the temp at 70 and it is warmer outside (Fall, Spring) it will just keep heating (to high 70's), so you're always turning it off and on. It cost almost as much as a REAL system :{ I feel I was way over charged and the system was over- sold. It will NOT cool your house in August unless you run it all day, It's faster to use a fan. NOT that cost effective, how many years before it pays for itself??? The cost to install started at around $3K, then went to $5K, and ended at $8K. The owner Monty sold me a maintenance and extended warranty to 15 yrs. It should still have a standard 12 year, but they don't want to fix it. Now they say they never offered maintenance or an extended warranty. Being likable doesn't give you honor or integrity. It was an expensive mistake. Can you afford it? I also made the mistake of trusting my contractor. They installed the outside unit crooked and one of the inside units is crooked and not on one of the brackets. They dropped a unit on the floor unboxing and cut the linoleum, no response from owner. Outside wall covers are also installed sloppy and don't match up. Save yourself a lot of trouble. Will they be in business with this kind of service when the economy finally slows?
