He planned his funeral services to the final…read moredetails, selected his coffin to be on site and ready for him, planned his burial, and paid in full in order to get his headstone done in prior to his passing. Austin's Funeral Home and Glacier Memorial Gardens are owned by the same people, and we have had nothing but huge mistakes from them. Three hours prior to the funeral, we got a phone call informing us the wrong casket had been delivered. While this information was just brought to our knowledge, Austin's Funeral Home had this information for several days before our knowledge, and they were hoping to slip this information passed us. They called to see if they could substitute the one our dear friend chose, or postpone our family gathering to bury him. They blamed the supplier, they apologized, yet our friend was buried in a coffin he did not want. Management offered condolences, too late, after trying to hide their mistake. Now, 14 weeks after the service, his headstone is still not there. They have made promises on two separate occasions promising an installation of the headstone by the end of the week. The owners and managers of these two facilities are eager to make promises and take in money for services, yet have no integrity when it comes to keeping their word. I do not recommend you use them for any funeral services. They will bait and switch you at your most painful times. Shame on Austin's and Glacier Memorial Gardens! Shame on you Eric for your "sales" tactics.
