[[HIGHLIGHT]]Old fashion style steakhouse.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were looking for Montana local raised beef and we decided to try this place. We ordered 3 different cuts to share: Filet Mignon, Ribeye and Porterhouse. They were served on a hot sizzling plate. Temperature was the perfect medium rare for all, but the seasoning was lacking. The steaks were juicy but definitely needed more salt and seasoning. the steaks come with garlic bread, salad and pasta on the side. Our server was super sweet! Great service! Prices were pretty cheap but the steaks are not Black Angus or Prime quality.

The service was great! We had the Filet Mignon and the T bone steak. The fillet was super tender and had good flavor. The spaghetti was really good, we had looked up past reviews and were expecting the spaghetti. Will return!

Wow! We were looking for somewhere for dinner our last night in Glacier National Park. We looked at reviews and decided that Spencer & Co. was the place for us. Right off the bat our hostess was so welcoming. Even with our all day of hiking and still having our hiking clothes on. She was so friendly. The very first thing when we ordered drinks I got Jack on the rocks and the pour was so generous. I knew we had chosen the right place. We all ordered ribeye steaks and everyone said their steaks were delicious even though they didn't have a lot of seasoning. They tasted like beef. Yes there was spaghetti served family style brought to our table and we could have as much as we wanted. But we knew that from the reviews. So it wasn't bad. The spectacular finish to our meal was the chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and dark chocolate icing that we learned is from a local business. I ordered coffee to go with my dessert and it was on the house. I don't think anyone has reviewed this place recently on Yelp so here you go. Don't skip this place because of 1 year+ reviews. Give this place a try.

So every once in awhile you find a place you love. This was it. Staff so friendly and service so good. Best part food was fantastic old school steakhouse. We ordered a Spencer steak rare which was cooked perfect. Charbroiled on outside but rare inside. So good. Comes with spaghetti with a red suace which is very good. We had a bottle of cab from California which was great and reasonably priced.. People that did not like it are ones with broken taste buds do to vegan crap. Others that said overcooked must be idiots that don't know how to order. Yes this is old school how the restaurants should be. No chain crap joints. Salad was awesome not some hairy crap that rabbits wouldn't eat. Best place we have had in North Western Montana. Should be ten stars. If you don't like this just have a garden burger someplace else.

Filet mignon... mushrooms and mashed potatoes... toast toast

Friendly... delicious... large amounts of food... small environment ... seems like a local favorite that maybe the tourists do not know about.

Okay steak. Too much fat and slightly over cooked. Asked for a medium and got a medium-well. Drinks ok. Not the best. I ordered an old fashioned and it could have been better. But the service was phenomenal. Shout out to Corinne for being so hospitable. Spaghetti looked awful. My 14 year old cousin can make that. Skip the spot if you want a steak worth the price but come here for small town feel / service.

Food was good too! I got a Stumptown Omelette, my husband got a burrito. Hash browns with it were very plain. We missed out on the pies but I hear they're great. Service 3/5: The older woman serving us was not in a great mood which was evident because she gave a younger guy working an attitude about the location of something in the cafe right in front of us. She put in my husband's order completely wrong (egg Benedict instead of a burrito) , and originally our food came out together but we had to wait for his to be cooked which we don't care but having a toddler there always makes every second feel much longer, but it was SO fast to come out. Also they gave us an orange juice instead of the apple juice we requested. We lived with it, my toddler doesnt have meltdowns over that yet. Ambiance: simple cafe. Don't think it's handicap accessible. There are stairs to get down when you walk in the door. We left our stroller in the car. Overall we heard such amazing great things but it was relatively average for our experience! Maybe just the Sunday rainy morning we went. But for a $50-60 breakfast for 2.5 people we will not return during our trip.

We arrived shortly after six on a Monday evening, easily found parking and, while about half the tables were full, we were seated quickly. Our waiter was kind but seemed nervous, reading the specials from a note pad. We started with sourdough and an order of calamari (yes, I know there isn't fresh squid within a hundred miles, it's one of our "always order to see what's up" dishes). Bread came out quickly with olive oil, balsamic, and some minced garlic - quite nice. A few minutes later, calamari - lightly breaded, perfectly fried, and a bit bland. It felt like they'd perfectly executed their vision, but it could've used a bit more seasoning to my taste. No tarter or other sauce, but a half lemon and some pickled sweet peppers. I ordered the bison burger and my wife went with the walleye. My burger was medium rare, as ordered, but the bottom bun was soggy and everything was buried in the thinly sliced red onion. It was fine but sadly forgettable other than having to slurp slices of onion after each bite. My wife raved about her walleye though, basically describing it as elevated nostalgia. It took her back to days of fishing on the lake with her family as a girl, but perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. We finished with an espresso crème brûlée, which took about 20 minute after our meal to arrive. Apparently the chef was newer and accidentally put pistachios on the brûlée, as we got the last espresso and the next batch was pistachio flavored. We didn't mind, but it had the thickest crust I've ever seen on a brûlée - probably an eighth inch thick. It took two solid whacks to break through and was so thick it felt more like a burnt caramel. The crème itself was lovely but, as someone who prepared hundreds of brûlées in an earlier job and has eaten many since, it was sadly overshadowed by far too much sugar on top. It was an overall pleasant experience but honestly I owe much of that to the company of my wife. If we go back, the only thing we'd reorder is the sourdough to start. My wife loved her fish but still said she'd try something else next time.

There is only scrambled of hard cooked egg. ***No yolky eggs*** and no pancakes. We didn't realize coming in. And when we got the cheesy scrambler, the eggs were VERY "wet". Now I don't want to start any rumor but they were very similar to how hotel breakfasts boil bags of prepackaged scrambled eggs then chop it up and serve it. Point being, unsure if they were fresh. I'm pregnant so I was skeptical at first to eat since they were so wet and runny. My husbands chicken fried steak was square. Another indication he thought it was prepackaged frozen. Both came with size of potato's and they were great! Crunchy on outside and soft on inside My toddler got the French toast sticks though and those were so yummy. They gave him crayons and a coloring paper which was nice! High chairs are available. My husband just assumed it all was reheated from the freezer isle. But I'm less difficult to impress, especially for breakfast, and usually he is too just something felt off here. And if the runny eggs didn't make me question than I probably would've never noticed anything. The woman working was so sweet and attentive. Old-school diner feel. It is self seating and you order at the counter. There was only one other couple there with us, not busy at all. Went on a Monday morning.
