I typed "yoga" in my trusty yelp app, and came across this studio which I now call home. Fusion fitness offers yoga (vinyasa and various levels), Pilates, spinning, B.A.R.R.E, rowing, boot camp and other strength training classes. I have only tried some of the yoga classes but I am in love! No crazy yogi's who make this a peeing contest or any other pretentious behavior. It feels like a family here. From the teachers to patrons, everyone is welcoming and friendly. I feel challenged in every class and a better person coming out than when I arrived :) Booking is simply done online and they always offer discounted drop in class specials. She stated normally beginners don't take a 1.5 class as an instructor you teach no matter what. Instead of being supportive, she made a comment that made me feel like I didn't belong there. Everyone has to start somewhere, and that kind of attitude is discouraging. Better communication and customer service are definitely needed.

First time trying Yoga!…read more What a lovely place to have my first experience. From the time I walked through the door, up the beautiful steps lined with candles..... I was impressed. The check in desk is where I was greeted by the owner Susan! She offers yoga mats & towels for a very small fee. I noticed some super cute clothing and jewelry for sale. While I waited to sign in I glanced over to my right...... I enjoyed the lovely white curtains as they caught the wind, blowing in and out. The actual studio was like being in a retreat away from all of the hustle and bustle of the real world. The floors, the inspirational quote on the wall & the basic/simple ambiance! The class was enjoyable & the stretches felt really good! Susan was fabulous! She definitely interacts around the class to ensure this newbie was doing it right! I felt comfortable and proud that I was doing this! At the close of class i will mention that she placed nice cool cloths lightly sprayed with lavender across our eyes as we lay there absorbing all of the positive vibes that surrounded us. Very nice touch as I do LOVE my essential oils!!! Her studio was very clean & I definitely noticed all of the love & passion that was put into creating this wonderful space! I am so grateful that PS Yoga Studios has opened up in the neighborhood. In the year that I have…read moremoved up from Miami, it hasn't been easy to find a studio that just felt right in every way; now that I have PS in my life, I feel like I have found a sanctuary, some peace of mind amongst the chaos. The studio offers a great deal of classes every day, and now they have added two late night (8pm) classes during the week that are perfect for my more often than not crazy schedule. I've taken classes with 4 of the instructors so far, and they all have been absolutely wonderful. I have been particularly addicted to the Yin classes, since a bout of anxiety a few months ago made me realize I needed to slow down my pace a little and let go. Of all the studios I've been to in Broward and Palm Beach, I honestly feel that PS is the best there is out there. The energy and vibe of the location, the genuine care that each instructor gives all their students, and of course the variety of options for all levels and different styles of practice; all of this, and that intangible je ne sais quoi makes PS Yoga Studios #1 in my book. He has installed a new treadmill, and he will be replacing the older discontinued models with the next couple of months. He will also be remodeling the restrooms, a sauna will also be installed in each room. The staff is friendly and helpful. The gym offers both free weights and machines for practically every body part. The members range from bodybuilders to senior citizens. Yet, unlike chains, University Fitness is not a "seen and be seen" place; so, no dropping weights on the floor with a loud bang followed by making sounds to get noticed. This is not a "pick up" joint! Members go there to workout. Personally, I like the fact that there are no contracts, no deposits, etc. -month-to-month. After a month you can pay for another month or not. Your choice!

I have attended four extended (3/5 day) retreats in Delray and plan to continue to for many years to come! The teachings make the dharma understandable for the beginner and the practices are varied (sitting, movement, walking along with a number of informal mindfulness practices too). Lodging for retreats is stunning and the food was vegetarian and delicious! An incredible way to reset my busy mind and connect likeminded others. Love you Cindy!
