this company is going down the drain. Terrible customer service and no call backs. Lots of scamming going on, I do not recommend them,

MAY 2025. The clock timer on my pool pump was working but lost current time on upon loss of power. Usually a battery is used for a memory keeper. Dart came out and said no battery but the "not too expensive" unit control would have to be replaced. When called back, well it would be a $600 bill to keep the current time on an otherwise working perfectly Pentair pool pump. We declined as not worth $600. (And it started working again) Now what my issue is the $135 service call. After looking up my Pentair problem on the internet, (my bad for not doing first) it was clear Dart should have known that $600 cost just from my initial phone call. I offered to pay (3 times) a more reasonable $75, but no response. So we will pay the $135.........But say beware. read more

Awesome service. My light was out in the pool. Called on Monday, they warranty claimed the job, came on Thursday and were done in probably less than 30 minutes! Also got text messages when they were on the way. Quoted 9-12pm. Got a text at 8:20 they were coming and they arrived at 9:15. Excellent service. read more

Ray took his time showing me how to use my new pool pump (recently installed by Pinch a Penny who wouldn't care to do that as courtesy neither at installation time or later) and fix my unresponsive remote control. Having used their services a few years ago and been quite happy, I called them for a relatively simple pool job. Suffice to say, I wish I never had. Their communication has become absolutely diabolical and long story short I have been left worse off than when I started. Will absolutely never use them again and would not recommend them. read more

This company used to be a great company about 6 years ago,they fixed our pool heater for a reasonable price and is lasted 3 more years! How ever when we called them to arrange a service on our new pool heater they said they don't fix pool heater and suggested that we should "just" buy a new unit from them and they would install that but they won't bather to fix an existing unit. A new pool heater is between $3,000 and $5,000 depending on the size and make.!!! Sure it is better for the company to "just" install a new unit,hook it up in 30 minuets and get the $3,000-$5,000 for it,but we don't want to waist and spend that kind of money on something what is easily fixable. DO NOT GET SCAMMED!!!! Look around for other AC and Pool heater company's,like we did! We Get our existing pool heater fixed by Alex's pool heater and air conditioning company for the fraction of the price of replacing it. Dart pool solution did not even bather to come out and actually take a look at the job they just offered to replace it over the phone. Very disappointed with Dart Pool Solutions! We advise our friends to stay away from Dart Pool Solutions! They are only looking for the big jobs and don't care about the customers needs. It is difficult to find reliable pool equipment service period. And then there is the issue of finding a company that can service your equipment and also inform you when it's time to give up on a piece that costs more to keep in repair than replacing. Plus, they have to be available when something goes unexpectedly wrong. I have been a home owner here for almost twenty years so when my heater didn't want to turn on, and my Autopilot salt system became cranky, and my pool pump started shaking the house when it turned on, I was slightly upset. I asked around and found various companies willing to look at one problem, maybe two, who actually were certified to work on my specific equipment. I called DART and they were certified to work on all three pieces of equipment. The Hayward gas heater needed a board, the Autopilot a repair, and the pool pump; well the pool pump had done its time and deserved a rest. DART fixed all and put in a new Pentair Intellipro VS2 pump. I was informed the new pump would save me on the electric bill but I had heard that song before. So, I started pulling up my electric bill and checking my daily use against prior daily use bills. You can do that on the FP&L website by accessing the Energy Dashboard. And my bill was dropping, and by a significant amount. The work was done, all is well, and I'm actually saving money. DART is a family company and you can read about them on their website. I'm very pleased with everything they were able to do at my home and I believe if you are experiencing problems and frustrations with your pool equipment that you give DART a call. We worked with Raymond from start to completion; and he was friendly and completely professional in assisting us from understanding the problems through installing the equipment. A bonus is that someone there is very good about returning e-mails and getting you those pdf's. read more
