My makeup was great for the wedding. It lasted all night, and it looked really subtle and natural. My only complaint would be the lip products she used. It was glossy and looked patchy when applied. I had to wipe it off and use my own lipstick. Also, my hairstyle didn't even last an hour after being done. I had to have my bridesmaids completely curl my hair again, which was stressful because it was time consuming. For the price charged, I felt like the hairstyle should've lasted longer than it did. I felt that whenever I showed Karla my hair inspirations on Pinterest, she more often than not told me how it wouldn't work on me, rather than try to help me achieve the hairstyle I wanted. There is only one instructor in the evening, and he clearly shows favoritism. I did not feel supported or treated fairly in class. The supplies they sell are very low quality--comparable to cheap online products. For the prices they charge, I expected much better. On top of that, the school is not clean. The classrooms and restrooms are consistently dirty, and it doesn't seem like they maintain the place properly. If you're serious about learning and building a career, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Incredibly patient, always wonderful, never needed more than a description to know exactly what I wanted. One thing to know going in is that Ashley keeps it real with you. Once you understand that, you realize it is actually one of her best qualities because it means she is completely focused on your hair. I moved and tried to save the drive. My hair paid for that. I rolled the dice on a local salon and asked for a soft natural look on my dark hair. They bleached 80% of my head. Went back to fix it. Came out looking like a tiger. Orange, blonde, dark brown, black, all at once. Went back a third time. Left fully orange. My hair was nearly beyond repair. I reached out to Ashley. She had me come in for a consultation on a Wednesday, saw the damage in person, saw my inspiration picture, and was shocked. We booked that same Friday. She blow dried between every round to check the tone. Never rushed once. Fed me her favorite Korean snacks and got me completely hooked. By the end of that night she nailed it. The color, the softness, the health Not many stylists can lift naturally dark hair, correct that level of bleach damage, and preserve the hair all at once. That is a rare skill.
