I cannot recommend Root & Ritual enough. I recently dyed my hair for the first time ever and unfortunately it did not turn out the way I had hoped. I was honestly nervous walking into the appointment at Root and Ritual because I didn't know if it could be fixed. Cynthia, the owner, completely transformed the experience. From the moment I sat in her chair, she truly listened. She took the time to understand what had happened, what I was feeling, and what I ultimately wanted. Her level of professionalism and expertise immediately put me at ease. Not only did she fix my hair...she restored it. The color correction was done with such care and precision, and the final result exceeded my expectations. The quality of her work speaks for itself. She is clearly incredibly skilled at what she does. Beyond the technical side, the entire experience felt intentional and elevated. The customer service was exceptional, the environment felt calming and welcoming. I walked out feeling like myself again. She genuinely gave me back my spark. Hunter at Root & Ritual is INCREDIBLE! I genuinely cannot recommend her enough. Every cut and color absolutely hits, and she nails it every single time. She's so thoughtful about what will work best for my hair, while still listening to what I want, and I always leave the salon feeling amazing and obsessed with the result. Beyond being incredibly talented, Hunter is just such a joy to spend time with. She's so easy to talk to, genuinely thoughtful, and somehow remembers the little things, not just about my hair, but about what's going on in my life. Sitting in her chair feels like catching up with a friend who also happens to be ridiculously good at hair. This review is not a reflection of the salon…read more I've had my hair done a couple times and the first time I had to drive back the next day to get it fixed because he added chunky money pieces which I communicated that I did not like or want on multiple occasions. I wrote it off as a mistake however after my second appointment I realized he's not paying attention and not being honest. I had requested highlights and my roots to be lightened,, he did not bring the foils up to my roots and once again gave me money pieces. I immediately told him that the entire crown was significantly dark and I told him again I was not sure why he added money pieces again. After being there for so many hours I was exhausted mentally and physically. I requested it be corrected after I came back from vacation and he agreed, I contacted him once I returned and no response. The appointment was unprofessional as he talks a lot personal life matters, and does not listen. I would caution other customers. I am now going to have to pay another stylist to fix his work.
