Very overdue review, but I had to write one because of how amazing my hair still looks after ten months! After seeing my sister's beautiful balayage done by So, I also made an appointment. I've been going to my hairstylist for almost a decade, and she was terrific at doing very low maintenance balayage, but she moved to another state. I was nervous about finding another stylist to do my hair because I've never gone to another one for ten years! But when I met So, she made sure to go over all the steps and explained what I should expect after the styling. I have super long and full hair, and So made sure to pay meticulous attention to cut and color my hair. And the result was just amazing, as you can see from the photo. She blended my previous balayage well, and the color matched perfectly with my natural hair that even after ten months, my hair still looks great. I've finally found my go to hairstylist! I came in to go blonde after debating for awhile whether I should go through with it. Since I am Asian, I tried to find a stylist that had experience working with my hair type. So was the perfect person as her work shows how much she knows about coloring hair. It was really easy to set an appointment through Instagram DM and she was very communicative. As soon as I entered her salon suite, it was so comfortable and easy going. As a really shy person, I appreciated that she struck up conversation first and made sure I was comfortable. She offers Netflix and Disney plus to help pass time, and it felt like I was just hanging out with a friend. My hair also came out so so nice! I had to go through some rounds of bleach to achieve a lighter color, but it still feels so healthy.
