My first review as an elite member has to be a special one! :) if you go in because of my review...be sure to let them know :) FYI the salon may be slightly hard to find, its in the back! So when you turn into the plaza be sure to go all the way back! This salon is ran by Lorna (owner) and her daughter Ashley and they also have 2 other stylist working here (Vanessa & John). This place is super cute, intimate, and also very very clean!! They have coffee and snacks available incase you get hungry or sleepy during your hair job :) They also have TV's so you can watch a movie when your hair is being processed! They use all quality products and styling tools, so don't worry they got your hair protected! I got my hair done by Ashley about almost 3 month ago and it is still going strong! I wanted a very subtle balayage done, since I haven't colored my hair in almost 10 years and was a little bit scared about getting it lightened. She reassured me that it would be possible and to get the color I wanted and definitely not have my hair turned out yellow or fried or anything bad! YAASSS! Ashley did such a good job on my hair (pictures posted in the photos) that my mom and aunt both booked a session with her! Yep she's that good! YES we've all seen those horrendous bad hair jobs :( and money wasted! I actually referred one of my friends to get a "B3 hair treatment" done by ashley as well, since her hair was so damage from 2 bad ombre jobs done by a stylist in the 626 area and one in LA. You would think they would be able to do it "RIGHT", since both places had decent reviews but apparently not. I did a lot of research before coming in to get my hair done. A LOT OF PLACES don't use something like "olaplex or B3", which helps your hair to be protected and saved when getting it done! And yes this salon uses it!!! I highly recommend anyone who wants to get their hair balayage, ombre, Brazilian blowout, and or other variety of services done by them! FYI Lorna and Ashley are also Brazilian blowout certified, so they know what they're doing! Love love love this place! Kinda hard to find, but once you've found it, you'll never want to leave! The atmosphere is adorable and fun on the inside, and because it's nice and intimate (just three chairs), you know your stylist will not be distracted, and will really be able to give you their full attention and care! I've had a facial with Lorna (who also does hair, of course), and gotten my hair cut, colored and styled with Ashley. This mother/daughter duo is so much fun, and do an absolutely fantastic job. Today was my first visit to Belina Beauty Lounge. I am super pleased and super excited to write a review. I haven't colored my hair since 2010. I was wrestling with the idea of balayage for three weeks and I figured that since I'm still thinking about it, I might as well just do it. I got to the salon and was immediately welcomed by Ashley. The salon is intimate, cute, and the walls are covered in my favorite color-- purple. Ashley asked me if I wanted anything to eat or drink (so nice of them to offer refreshments!), and then we got started on my hair. I decided to go with a balayage-ombré. The whole process didn't take as long as I thought it would have... about 3.5 hours. Throughout the whole process, Ashley was very nice, engaged in conversation, and happily answered any of my questions. Ashley is very knowledgeable and is happy to suggest any products that will help you, especially when it comes to maintaining color. Her mom, again, offered me a pecan tart and water (so nice!). Ashley offered to also turn on a movie while I was waiting, but I was fine just wasting time on my phone. I was comfortable the whole time. I was so happy with the finished product. There was absolutely nothing to complain about and Ashley's service was worth every penny. My hair looks great and is SO soft! I was really nervous that it was going to damage my hair, but Ashley uses B3 Bond in her products and it makes all the difference. I am definitely coming back here! Very chic and cute salon! All the girls there are very nice and accommodating. I got my hair done by Ashley! I was so nervous at first because I got my hair blonde in the past and it didn't turn out so well. I had my hair dyed back to a darker color since the blonde looked so bad. I decided to take another chance at getting my hair to a lighter color again. Ashley is so talented and caring! I was able to go pretty blonde in one sitting and my hair was not damaged! She put something with the hair coloring to keep it from damaging and I couldn't believe how gorgeous it came out. The color was vibrant and my hair looks healthy still. I am so happy with my results and service that I will definitely want to go lighter again asap. I am normally hesitant about getting my hair colored more than once a year but now that I know my hair will look even better and not damaged I want it done more often. Both my co-worker and I purchased one of those $40 promotional coupons. So totally worth it!! I went in for my haircut with Ashley and and I walked out feeling like a million dollars. My hair isn't straight but it's not curly either and I have bangs. I was so impressed with Ashely when she dried and straightened my bangs before cutting them. I have trouble with my bangs because they like to cow-lick on the side and they fluff up when dry so a lot of times my bangs end up being too short and high up on the ends. Not the case with Belina Beauty Lounge. My bangs were PERFECT! I am so in love with this place. For my second visit I tried the Brazilian blow out and color. It turned out great! I don't have to fight with frizz or hair that looks like it needs to be brushed all the time. They don't have a receptionist so you have to leave a message to schedule an appointment. Ashley has always called me back within a day or two. This is a first class beauty lounge run by an extremely talented mother & daughter team. Today John did the B3 treatment on my hair and it has honestly never felt better. He did such a great job and is very meticulous about his work. I would highly recommend it. Last month I had the split end mender treatment done and it was exactly what I needed to skip a hair cut. Both are great options if you are trying to grow your hair out!
