DO NOT SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT! So I frequently stop at this location as a Uber driver to refresh myself and to use the restroom. As I go into the store, the Caucasian cashier stated to me when I asked to use the restroom refused to allow me to because I was not "a customer". I told him that I intended to be a customer. I just needed to use the restroomfirst, he then says sarcastically, but you're still not a customer. So I said never mind and walked out of the store. While I was leaving the store, I decided to look up to so that I report the incident. And the cashier sent another worker out to tell me that while I was looking around, please take a look at the signs on the windows that state restrooms for customers only. And I said to him, I said to the cashier that I just needed to use the restroom first and I was intending on purchasing, but no thank you. I'm not purchasing anything from the store.. these establishments do not understand that it is our businesses that keep their doors open and everyone is not out to destroy their facilities. And the from the cashier was very rude. So please take your business somewhere else. Because clearly these businesses don't understand. That our society is very mobile and people like myself and people with use the restroom and should not have to be hassled. read more

first thing first how do you offer food but, there is no one there to cook it before 9Am according to the fake friendly cashier, with the braids in her hair. The last time I stopped in to get a breakfast sandwich, she went to fix my food and didn't even wash her hands, got mad at me for calling her out on it. She claimed that she washed them in the back . Lies, lies, lies. Very unprofessional with the honey and baby language. Nice store very clean, under staffed, and unprofessional. When this place opened I enjoyed buying gas, getting snacks, and using the restroom, and they are 24hrs. Now in Aug 2017, they decided to be restrictive and not allow folks to use their restrooms after midnight. How can you be a 24hr business, but close your public restrooms after midnight? I guess some malicious vandals messed up the toilets by flushing material that they know will foul up the plumbing. Not cool. read more

This review is for the Dash In on Russell St Baltimore, near the Greyhound terminal. When they first opened, I was glad for another 24hr convenience store that had 24hr restrooms. Then in 2017, they closed the restrooms after 12 midnight. I guess that maybe the toilets were getting abused and vandalized by malicious customers, so they had to limit the times when the restrooms are open That's a shame that 24hr places have to do this because of abusive people who don't respect other people's property. read more

I work in the vicinity near the dashin and stop almost every night that I work downtown Baltimore. I always get a cappuccino for the ride home which takes me about a half hour. The pumpkin flavor is the best. All your employees are very good to me except for one person and his name is Lamont. First of all every time I go in he's got something to say it's getting to the point where I feel like I'm being bullied. Tonight was the icing on the cake. I'm holding a conversation with him about trust work ending I'm a bartender and he decides to explain to me how I should tip him why I should tip him how his mother tells him he should be tipped he is spitting while he's yelling and he told me that I'm a cheapskate. I walk in I grab a cup I make my cappuccino I put the topping on I put the lid on a walk to the counter I pay for it and I get my card punched and this guy has the audacity to be hollering at me in front of customers and telling me how I have to pull money out of my pocket to tip him. I don't order food and now I definitely would never order food when he's behind that counter because he is not coming out of his mouth. I will not go in that store when I see him in there. Everyone else in there is wonderful Miss Evelyn I think that's her name she is so wonderful to me she would walk on hot coals for her customers. But this situation needs to be adjusted because I shouldn't feel like that if you're being on my feet for 10 hours. Money adds up when you stop there every single night after work. I am absolutely appalled and disgusted. He acts like he owns the place and he's far from it. And one more thing when you first open the place it was so hot in there in the summer and I did ask for the phone number to call somebody because it was uncomfortable. Everybody has a life everybody has things to do and he gets on my back about not calling. And not to go political every single time before a president was elected he called me Miss Trump he got on me about the president he told me everything he felt like saying about the president. I don't talk about politics I didn't bring it up this man has issues. I respect people I would never treat people the way I was treated and he definitely needs a little swollen on customer service because he gets a d-minus is in my book. Two days after the situation I had with an employee that called me names, bullied me from behind the counter, was spitting as he yelled at me that I should tip him because I'm rich and I'm a cheapskate, was behind the counter, watching out of the window, had another man on the customer side of the register area, watching my every move as I pulled up to pump gas. I made the correct decision. I pulled forward, turned around, went to the Royal Farm store where an Officer was present, filled my tank and they also have my favorite flavor, Pumpkin Spice cappuchino. I should have figured that for months in the summer, the owners of this Dash In/Shell kept the temp so hot during the summer months, without air conditioning, that the employees were soaked and uncomfortable. What was I thinking that they would protect the customer, when the working environment was so horrible. I've decided to turn my back and I will never spend another penny in this establishment. First-of-all, I cannot believe that I am writing a review for a gas station. Despite that, I had a really good experience at this gas station, and I wanted to recognize it. One would think, 'A gas station is a gas station'. For the most part, you are entirely correct; but every once in a while I experience some stellar service that really turns something ordinary, into something extraordinary. This was the case on 3/18 when I was travelling to BWI in Baltimore to pickup my wife and daughter from the airport. Because of my wife's travels on that day, I had used my phone an abnormal amount during work hours. Additionally, I needed to use my phone's GPS Navigation to get me to BWI, because I am not familiar with the area. As Ia m sure you are beginning to realize, this caused my phone to nearly expend all of its battery life. Now, normally this wouldn't be horrific; but two variables were in place that normally are not. First, I needed my phone to be available for when my wife's plane landed so that I could find her, and pick her up. Otherwise, I would just have to make multiple loops around BWI (nightmare) until I found her -- basically like trying to find a needle-in-a-haystack. Second, my car charger decided to stop working. So, here I was, no GPS, and not really sure how to get my phone charged. I stopped by this Shell because I needed gas. Admittedly, I was also a little hungry, so I decided to stop-in and grab something to eat. I was hoping that they had a car charger that would fit my phone, but I didn't see one, so I went to the register to pay for my snack. At the window, I asked the man, 'You wouldn't happen to have a charger for my phone would you' (thinking that I already knew the answer to this question). He quickly and politely indicated otherwise to a rack 5 feet away from me. After looking through the rack, I did not find one, and was getting ready to walk out when he came out from behind the counter, asked to see my phone, and pointed me to a charger that would work. I looked at the connection and was certain that it wouldn't fit my Note 3. Little did I know, you do not need the full Note 3 special connector, you only need a charger that has half of it (sounds weird, I know). Sure enough, I got into my gar, plugged the charger in that I was certain would not fit, and viola! It started charging. First, the dude did not have to help me -- and in retrospect, I don't think that I would have helped me. Second, he didn't have to go the extra mile to come around the front and search through the chargers with me to ensure that I got the right one. Third, he taught me something that I did not know. This is superior customer service that I cannot believe occurred. It is refreshing that there are people out there who still care about providing great customer service. read more

Any time I'm in Baltimore (which recently has been quite often), this is my station. Simple reasons why: 1) It's cheap. Like really cheap. Cheaper than anything you're going to find in DC. 2) Discounted gas with a car wash. Thanks. I thought things like this only happened in CA. The single con: 1) It's in Baltimore. Im sitting in the parking lot of this royal farms. I have to say The girl behind the register is working. She had a line of bout 10 people. She stayed calm and and pleasant help all of us. She didnt even complain and she was sufficient. Nobody had a prob with waiting cause she was quick. This one lady she was helping wad running back and forth from her car doing the most. She still stayed calm just wanted to recognize her. read more

Would give 0 stars if possible. These people do not know how to run a business horribly rude. They did not honor the posted price for a small lunchable and I tried to point it out when they told me that there was a smaller version (which does not exist) that wasn't in stock. Either way there was no other price posted and they wanted to charge double to posted price. I politely asked for an ex0lanation at which point they refused to serve me. Worst experience ever. I've had NUMEROUS issues with this store. But for them to try to charge for a few napkins during a global pandemic, when millions are out of a job, is GROSS & PATHETIC. How cheap are you. Irritated. At the gas pump and it didn't read my first card at all. Then said to see attendant. Then said to call card issuer. Checked my online banking. No alerts from bank of America. Plenty of money in my account. I have open toe heels on and it's raining. There's no way I'm walking to the cashier. I hope that their scanner is just faulty and no one installed some type of scam reader to steal my credit card information type thing over at the gas pump scanner or whatever but this gas station just lost my business. Incompetent cashier and very rude manager. My car wash code did not work, so I went inside the store to inquire. I was told by the cashier the code had expired. I had to count the days with him to prove to him that the code should not have expired. He then told me to "go see the lady manager over there." The manager told me that car wash expires 21 days after the purchase. I showed her the receipt which clearly states the car wash code is valid for 30 days. Instead of an apology, the manager acted like it was my fault for not knowing that the car wash machine was programmed with a 21 days expiration date. She was very rude and defensive. Very disappointed Shell employed such unprofessional employees. Will not go there for gas and car wash again! read more
