The service: the support guys seems to try to be very communicative. However, often times information provided to you may seem contradictory or confusing. You may have several different people reaching out to you that you don't know providing updates and information on your device with private information. The price: I'm not sure what the going rate is for a charge, battery, or DC jack, but I paid I over $400. I felt like I was bamboozled a lil bit. Overall, my laptop was at this shop from about Oct 25, 2022 to Novemeber 23, 2022. If you know that you need a quick fix and this location can do the job quickly, I'd definitely try Tech Support.

My first thought was to go to the Geek Squad at Best Buy. Talking to coworkers, they recommended instead that I go to a mom and pop local place, so I started searching nearby. I found these guys within 3m of me and contacted them about details of what may be involved. I dropped off my baby, trusting their expertise to diagnose and fix the issue since I use this PC for gaming, personal business and some work. I received a call a day later as promised saying that they found the issue and to fix it they need to replace the drive. I asked about specifics of the replacement drive to compare it to a high performance drive I had just recently purchased. Mine was better, so I dropped it off with them shortly after their call to use in the rebuild. They said it would be a day for them to complete the work. I showed up the next day and my PC was ready to go as promised. Total bill was $85 to diagnose, replace drive and install Win 11 since Win 10 is about to go out of support. I shared my very positive experience with my coworkers just in case they need work done in the future. Even after that we wouldn't have access to the data. Four years of photos gone. Called one repair shop and they said I was out of luck. Called CPR and Simon said they'd give it a shot, charge me $50 to run a diagnostic, and only charge me for additional work IF they were confident they could get the data off. Took it in Sunday night as they were closing with little hope of recovering anything. After a couple days I got an update saying it would take board level repairs and while they've had success in the past, there are no guarantees. After a solemn week and a half, Norvin gave me a call and let me know they had been able to access the phone. About two hours later Simon calls to let me know they've been able to backup up the phone. Take in my wife's new home and they transfer it for us in less than an hour.
