Great place to grab a bite and have some fun at the arcade. I've been to couple Dave & Busters and they are all about the same in terms of experience. There is a dining area that offers American food like burgers, chicken tenders, steaks, etc with a bar section. Behind all the food area is a huge arcade area where you have to purchase tokens. These tokens come in a form of a card you swipe from machine to machine and after every swipe, you'll be notified of the balance. The food menu seems to be pretty standard across the chains, so if you're looking for a safe bet, I do recommend their bacon burger and chicken strips; pretty standard stuff, but actually tastes good. This Dave & Busters had about the same shooter games, ball throwing, and arcade games seen in other locations. The cleanliness was definitely better than others, especially the restrooms and the staff were very polite. After you're done with the games, based on the number of points accumulated, there is a gift store where you can redeem the points collected for prizes; I really liked their plush toy selection. Great place for family and friends to come enjoy a meal and have some fun in the arcade. It's not cheap though as the purchase of tokens can get pretty costly. The token cards are reusable so if you plan on coming back, just save it and reload tokens into the same card. As far as I know, the points already accumulated on the card does not expire. read more

The problem that I am having is the overwhelming stench of ILLEGAL MARIJUANA in the place. It's very hard to keep an appetite with the wafting smell of dead skunk. I hope the business understands that MARIJUANA and UNDER AGE CHILDREN in the same area is just trouble waiting to happen. Wow! Not a place to go out to. They had forgotten our appetizer, the drinks were weak, and we asked for Fish and Chips. What we got were fries. We couldn't finish our meals. But then there were the games. OMG! Many of them were shoddy working. Those that worked were so short, we were shocked! One game showed two games but continously played one game! This place was NOT one we would visit again. Total waste of money. On top of that, the games are set off dollar amount. So instead of say, 7 tokens, it is a number like 7.1 or 7.9, meaning you will never use all the money you add to the $3.00 card you must purchase to add money to. We just went in to play the games. So, I can not tell you how the food or drink is. It is so exciting to walk into Dave and Busters! There are so many sounds and lights all trying to get your attention at once. It reminds me of going to the opening day of the state fair in my hometown. The games are fun, but it is easy to spend a lot of money fast. The staff wasn't great but also wasn't terrible. When we asked questions, they would answer the questions but appeared annoyed to be bothered. We are planning on going back again with a 20-30 limit. Great place to take the family! Atmosphere was very inviting and fun. Our server was knowledgeable and polite. We went on a Monday night and it wasn't crowded at all. It still took a little bit for our food to arrive since they were short staffed but I'm glad the food was hot when we finally received it. Everything was delicious! Someone was always checking in on us which I appreciate. The food was really good. The cheesecake was the best part. It was really rich with a HUGE marshmallow topping. It definitely reminded me of the Cheesecake Factory. Their Christmas decorations were a nice touch as well. The only disappointment to knock down a star was that some of the games were broken and most of the balls were missing from the hippo game. That was one of our favorites. We made reservations for 5:30 to dine on Christmas Eve weeks before this date using Open Table. The day of our reservation we received an email telling us our reservation time changed. No explanation. Two hours before our new time we received a series of emails alternating between changing our time (again) and cancellation. Clearly the restaurant manager is more of a grump than the Grinch. Because they waited until the last minute to cancel our reservation, we couldn't book anywhere else. I went back multiple times to ask the manager about and video footage around the time I lost it in case some stranger picked it up. now I know you wouldn't have been able to see the ring go anywhere, but they kept telling me they will and let me know...weeks go by and I hear nothing and then they proceed to tell me that I needed a warrant to look at footage, though I wasn't asking to look at footage I was asking them to see if they saw anything. I have asked around, gone to pawn shops and jewelry places in case someone found it and pawned it. mind you when something like this happens you TRUST NO ONE...not even the staff at Dave and busters. I took my search to social media and made one comment that an employee MIGHT have taken it and not said anything then proceeded to say that but maybe not...then I get harassed by Dave and busters employees through social media saying they were there and they helped and when I saw who said that I knew they didn't because I saw them standing right there next to the manager the whole time. so, lesson learned...NEVER TRUST WHAT ANYONE SAYS OR DOES THAT WORKS AT DAVE AND BUSTERS. horrible customer service and poor professionalism. read more

Our waitress was good then she disappeared and never came back so had to get someone to get our check so we could pay. She never told us anything and we're left there for half hour waiting. That was the only bad thing but besides that we had a great time. Had an issue with a game but a manager helped us and took care of it and was great and understanding. I love this place I have fun whenever I go I enjoy the food. The surprising thing to me about Dave and Buster's what's the food selection. I've gone to Dave & busters before but never for dinner. Took myself out to a place that I always wanted to try for the bar game experience. This is my first time time visiting and I was highly disappointed. The waitress had an absolutely awful attitude it took 25 minutes before I received service and it was the Assistant manager who has to assist me. It it wasn't for the ladies next to me I don't know how long it would have take. I order lemon pepper wings and celery and the chicken was fried extremely hard. I had 3 celery sticks and there was a weird taste but was too afraid to send it back with fear of the outcome. The bartender was excellent. She was very busy but is a great multitasker. My husband and I took the 6 kids to Dave & Buster's on a Wednesday night. We were greeted and seated immediately. Inside was very clean and dimly lit. We ordered dinner and adult drinks. I was pleasantly surprised by by the food at this location. Food came out fresh and hot. The pretzel dogs are very tasty! The drinks aren't bad either. After eating we let the kids play. Our waitress told us Wednesday nights are 1/2 off all games, all night. The kids played their little hearts out for over an hour and we spent around $70 total on games for 8 people. Great deal for a large family. And Wednesday's are perfect because there is really no crowd. I would definitely go back. read more

ANDREW DRAKE thank you for ruining Dave and Busters!! My wife and I have been going to date night at Dave & Buster's across the country for years. Always a wonderful experience until last night our experience was so bad that it has tainted the wonderful memories we have had prior to tonight. Andrew Drake is the reason for 1 star. He is the epitome of ineptitude in management. After a meal, that was a real life version of "Friday"( Y'all ain't never got two things that match) they ran out of sauces, soft drinks, and alcohol. We were warned not to order the burger as it is usually soggy mess. After being given vouchers for tokens in admonishment of their mistakes, we asked if the $10 gameplay with a $50 gift card purchase could be used with the voucher. We were told yes but the coupon is only good next year, no problem there. We go visit AIMEE(parents obviously weren't winners of the spelling bee poor child never had a chance at a decent life) who then decided that we weren't eligible to receive the coupon the Mismanager just told us we could receive. She protested saying they weren't valid yet, at which point I noted that validly of the coupon, doesn't preclude distribution as the intention of the coupon is to bring return business. She calls over Andrew Drake the Mismanager of the Year. ( your rear half of a donkey atop a trophy is in the mail) He confirmed that the coupon was supposed to be distributed. I replied "Right!?!" My wife and I were then escorted out by armed security for yelling at an employee. 1. The employee wasn't even in the conversation and was at least 15 feet away. 2. Arcade filled with screaming children 3. I wasn't rude, I didn't cuss, I certainly didn't say any of the jabs I am taking in this forum. I did raise my voice to make a single word confirmatory statement, "Right!?!" In affirmation to what he said. This pathetic adult( a term being used loosely) is the absolute epitome of what is wrong with this country. crybaby who couldn't handle a raised voice? In affirmation!?! How pathetic and insecure could you be in life..... you could be Andrew Drake!!! And as for Chris whom watched the whole thing go down, too little too late. You should have stepped in way before that Mismanager was allowed to show his prowess at pathetic ineptitude. read more

My 1st trip here and the first thing I noticed was its tight and not as large as the one in Columbia or the one in Marietta. Plenty of kids and adults playing games and the restaurant area was pretty full. The games were good and quick and you can spend alot of coins here really fast. Next time I have to try the restaurant area but to take my kids and grandkids here is okay they like the games. read more

We enjoy the older one in Columbia and I want to really like this one in Augusta since it's right here at home. A few suggestions, Skee-Ball, you need Skee-Ball. Second y'all have to fix whatever is going on with the app because we can't use our phones to play games. We can recharge the account on the app but we had to go get a plastic card at the register, offload our account onto the plastic card, reload the card to the app, then after everything was reloaded we still can't use the app and have to use the plastic card. We haven't had this issue at other locations just Augusta. Food was good and bartender, who served us, was excellent. I'll update my review if the phone app starts working at the games. read more

Now it's much smaller than the ones in Atlanta and Columbia,SC but still packed with lots of games for all ages and a pretty decent restaurant. The food was good nothing outstanding but still worth trying. Our waitress was great as well. I gave 4 stars because of the hostesses. There were about 4 or 5 at the podium. You really need to make sure this job is given to people who are hospitable and have great customer service. No smiles no happy gestures. One main thing I noticed they all were very young ladies maybe teenagers. I know with proper training the experience can be better. However I still recommend. read more

At 5:30 there was a 2 hour wait. Ok, but there were many tables empty which was confusing. Was the issue not enough staff? We ended up snagging some seats at the bar. We ordered the French fries for appetizer and kale salads with salmon and mushroom Swiss burgers. The salmon on one of the salads was way undercooked. It was taken back to the kitchen but never returned and the Parmesan crisp was more like a dog chew! The service was ok at the bar but the staff seemed so chaotic. Best thing of the night? Rated as a returnable place. several games didn't work. bball is only 3 credits. customer service is fast and friendly. waiter is knowledgeable and takes time to review menu items. 8 rating for the food. the meals were delicious and very flavorful. fair prices 3 items over $20. My wife made reservations for 10 at Dave and Busters. It was for a birthday party. They do not have private rooms so we just booked a table. We prepurchased ~$100 in game tokens. 30 minutes before the reservation they called us to tell us they were going to cancel it becuase of a corporate buyout. No remorse, no apology. No one from corporate will respond to me. Please take this into extreme consideration before planning any sort of event with them- they don't give an ass about you. They made children and my wife cry. Who the F cancels a birthday party 30 minutes before---- at a place that seems to be built for this type of thing??? EDIT: To anyone seeing the replies asking people to fill out a form and thinking they care- it's all for show. I fell in love with D&B while living in Chicago. I always loved their food. This location is somewhat smaller than others I've been to. But it has the same high energy and good food. I love when you go to places like this knowing that your favorite dish will be available and that it will be very good. The service is terrific. We were seated quickly and didn't wait long to get some drinks. We had plenty of time to review the menu, but it was hard to decide what to get. Our group of 4 opted for 4 different meals agreeing we'd share a bite with others. The menu is not huge, but it is very good. Our server made sure it got out hot and also ensured we had everything we needed. I love the games which is a great way to end a visit. We have been to several Dave and Busters up and down the east coast. The Augusta location has the best food hands down! We love the burgers and the ribs! The new chimichuri bowl- OMG the flavors! Food is good...but I sat today for 25 min before we got a server. I ordered two apps and a burger and waited another 30 min. They were probably 50% at capacity in the restaurant so I'd hate to see it busy. I'm 50% on my experience here and everyone deserves an "off" day, so I'll give it another try. read more
