They were out of a lot of stuff that was on the menu. Our appetizers came out last instead of first. The bartender was rude and criticized our drink choices so we let her choose for us. We were finally settled into a booth for dinner. The waitress was friendly but didn't have a chance to check back with us because the front staff kept seating her one table right after the next. She didn't even have time to get one tables drinks before she was getting another table. It was really really bad. The gaming area was so hot we had to leave before finishing. Place is very loud. So loud you couldn't hear yourself think. This is the most expensive place in town to play and eat. Games were fun but very expensive. Did not eat because of other ratings on this site. Looked at the menu. Prices were equal to those of a fine dining restaurant. The games are the only thing keeping this place in business. The drinks are mediocre. The staff is exceptionally rude. What's offered on the menu isn't offered in person and you're asked to order "on the app." When told the wings were absolutely terrible, we just got a smile and shrug. Amazing time at the arcade, but that was easily tarnished by the horrible dining service. Took probably 20-25 minutes to even have a server show up at the table, we were seated at around 11:30. Then they ask if we wanted drinks and we said we were ready to order everything, but nope, she says she'll take us our drinks and get our food order in a minute when she has her trainee there to watch. Ok, so they two of them show back up maybe another 20 minutes later. Long story short by time we actually get any food it's been an hour since we were seated and half an hour til close. Only thing edible was the wings. Truffle fries are totally soaked in oil and inedible, mushroom burger comes with one single mushroom and apparently no seasoning - you could get a better one at Wendy's. And nobody go out on a limb ordering anything fancy that isn't just pub food, chimichurri bowl is awful. Isn't even served as a bowl as it's completely deconstructed with a whole head of cauliflower (not chopped at all) and all the ingredients on separate corners of the plate. Also advertised as having a mint yogurt sauce only to find out you get approximately 4-5 drops of it sprinkled on the cauliflower and that's about it. Come for the games and go eat somewhere nice. In true Augusta fashion, just like bottom golf down the street, we got short changed with Discount Dave's. The building is too small for everything and everyone that they tried to squeeze inside. The dining area itself is small, but the food was ok. They were out of several items, so no pretzel appetizer like we had hoped. But I will say the shrimp dip was pretty good, even if it did come out after our entrees. If you really want to enjoy a night at Dave and Busters, make the drive up to Columbia. The one in Augusta isn't worth your time. read more

Upon our arrival we were greeted by a friendly young man and seated at a dirty table, It was sticky, I had to ask the server to clean it. We placed an order for a appetizer and it was delivered quickly but the server did not bring any plates or silverware. We then were delivered our entree and still no silverware, had to ask the server for napkins and silverware. Appetizer was the best of the meal, Food was very bland with no real flavor,Garlic mashed potatoes tasted watery and no real garlic to taste(was more flavor in the pretzel dogs) no salt or pepper on the table as well. Then we asked for our check and a takeout box for my dog and then we waited, and waited, The next time we saw our server she was standing at the table next to us with another staff member as they were telling a party that they were over capacity for a 4 top, seemed very confrontational and could have been done with more tact and better customer service. I spoke up and explained to the young man that was with our server that we were leaving and they could have our table as well and he just looked at me very dismissive. They walked away and still we waited. Finely she return a while later and brought our ticket but no box still had to ask again, Server was not real friendly and seemed very rushed. I have worked in the food and beverage industry on and off for over a decade now. So I have experience poor service before but nothing quite like this. To the manager on duty tonight, this would have been a zero star review if it wasn't for you. Thank you for making me feel heard as a customer with a vaild complaint. I'll start off with I didn't expect Dave and busters to provide 5 star service and food but I always expect good service. So today at around 330 my friend and I sat at the bar and waited for at least 10 mins without being greeted by the bartender(Harmonie according to the receipt I have, never did tell us her name) that clearly saw us the entire time. No I'll be right with you, nothing not a word. We waited so long I asked my friend if the bar was first come first serve (sit yourself) dining and he assured me it was as he has already been here twice. Now it's a new location, it was very busy, and the time of day is around normal shift change. So I gave her the benefit of the doubt. But then she made me feel slightly rushed to order just a few mintues after finally getting menus, when I ordered our drinks the strawberry frose she had the nerve to say that drink was gross(which it certainly was not!) it was all because she didn't want to make a frozen drink. At this point, I was appalled that's a big no no in the industry. So just her tip was going to reflect such lazy behavior. But then when our meals finally came and my friend's was missing the grilled chicken they added on. And our bartender was no where to be found. So other staff helped us but didn't seem to know what to do. Not once were we the customers asked about what we would like. He would have been fine with the grilled chicken coming out on the side but no a worker threw away a perfect good wrap right in the trash in front of us. Talk about food waste. But the shocker is when our bartender did show up she seemed to not care at all. Finally after waiting another 15 mins he gets to eat. And we ask for the check and she didn't bother to double check it and it had his meal on there twice. So I try to get her attention, and I notice she has her back turned to all her guests at the bar and is counting her tips! it's loud in Dave and busters so I'm basically yelling ma'am nothing and thats when I finally had enough got the next worker I saw to get me a manager. Now this manager clearly had just started his shift. But was so quick to handle the situation. I only wanted the extra meal off the ticket but he went above that and discounted all the food and you know it's bad when the manager doesn't even give the slip with option to tip. Which for the record we still would have left her a few bucks because I can't in good conscious not tip when I took up space where someone else could have tip her more. Neither of us had cash on us. Once he cashed us out he immediate turned to the bartender who was still counting her tips with her back turned this entire time and called her to the back. I boxed up my food and finished my drink but she came back out before I was done and just smacked and popped her gum at me. An insincere apology would have done wonders. This is a classic case where corporate did a great job hiring management but clearly the restaurant rushed to have floor staff and just took the bodies they could get.
