Terrible service!!! Also I'm 60 years old and couldn't get a beer without an ID!! really? Use your head people. Never coming again

Wow! You'd think after so many years of waiting for a place like this in El Paso it would be awesome. Not true with this place. Went there a few nights ago to catch a game with the wifey. Ordered a few drinks and asked to change the TV to the game we wanted. Everything was cool till we observed the manager loosing her cool with an employee. Asked the guy serving us if this was the norm and he said everyone there was disgusted with her. So.... not my problem, right? But when we had an issue with our bill and and had to have her look at it we also saw the real side of the management here. Needless to say we will not be back. Food was good. Above average price but supervisor and management need to be changed. read more

Service was ok. Got the Philly cheese with onion strings instead of grilled onions. Dry meat (overcooked), salty onion strings and hard bread. The fries were too salty and greasy. The place is empty had to wait a good while for someone to take our order. Someone who seemed to be management did come by and ask how we were doing. We did tell him our service was slow. Lots of games to play that's for sure. Maybe I'll come back for the games. Not sure about the food. read more

I held a child's birthday party here on September 7th. I was very disappointed with the level of service considering how expensive the party was. First, trying to arrange the party was very difficult because the representative refused to speak to me on the phone. Then, on the day of the party they did not want to give me enough seating for my guests. Also, I paid $60 for an upgrade that I later realized that I never received. Then, the bill was $50+ higher than what was indicated on my contract. They said gratuity was not included in contract even though I was pretty sure it was. So even though I already paid $60 extra for nothing, they still charged me even more. Food and service was mediocre. The games are fun but I would never hold a party here EVER AGAIN. read more

Decided to finally check it out. Brand new so that was nice. Super loud I side so forget having a conversation while dinning unless you want to shout. I was not impressed with service or food. There seemed to be many managers and staff running around but not very organized or attentive. The food was not priced accordingly. The menu choices look great but once you get your meal you realize you've paid double what it should have been. Very small portions. I ordered a side of sweet potato fries, got a half a cup worth for nearly $4! Then we had to shout to get someone to ask our server to check on us. Geez! I really liked it! Brought my kids (7&9), and we had a blast! Food was a bit pricy, and they didn't have the hummus appetizer I wanted, but it is a fun place to take the kids. We asked a manager for a refill on soda and he passed the buck and told some poor clueless employee to do it. I am very upset that I was approached and then asked to leave Dave & Buster's here in El Paso, Texas. Yes, we (as in me and my boyfriend) were open carrying our firearms and according to their sign posted outside of the establishment, I am allowed to do so. As we have done so many previous times. As you can see it is posted right by the entrance. We are both licensed to carry our firearms. So what is the problem? The manager approached me and told me I was not allowed to have my firearm in there because it was a family establishment. I then explained that if that was the case, the sign posted outside would clearly state that. Then explained to him that the sign posted outside said 'The unlicensed possession..', in which I am licensed. He then proceeded to call the police so I went and called my boyfriend and told him to come to the prize section where me and my daughter were. They exchanged words for about a good 10 minutes and I was hoping that the police would come because by Texas law, they are required to post the correct sign prohibiting firearms on their premises. So because someone wasn't feeling comfortable with us having our firearms, we were disregarded our lawful rights to have our firearms in the establishment according to their sign that they posted outside of the building. So my team and I went to D&B to enjoy unlimited wings and ended up getting 12 wings within 2 hours. That's 6 wings in a hour folks. Yep never going to come here again. The waitress literally had a team meeting in the middle of serving us. She sent another waitress over and we were under the assumption that our waitress had us covered. Trash food with trash service. I had a Groupon deal and they would not take a screenshot of the voucher because apparently they think they need to go on your phone and "mark as redeemed" to which if they actually were using groupon correctly as a business they would know: 1. That's just a slight invasion of privacy, you literally never need to touch a customer's phone because all you need is the barcode scanner. 2. I can choose to simply print out my voucher via the "download pdf" option on the groupon website and then print out the voucher, which if I do this option....how the hell are you going to mark that as redeemed? 3. The point of how these codes work is that it's all tied into the system and database. You redeem a code, it can't be used again period. You don't have to mark anything because the system has already marked it as used once a business scans it in. It's like those prepaid game cards at a gas station or Walmart for psn, steam, riot points or whatever. Those cards come with a code. Now when you redeem the code, do you have to like mail in your card to the game company for them to "mark it as redeemed" No of course not. This is why there are idiotic kids on snapchat who post pics of their game card with the code exposed only to see them crying 5 minutes later with another picture that their code isn't valid....because someone else redeemed it. Because the system and connected database deal with redemption independent of any other business. read more

Don't waste your time or money. The food is over priced and definitely not the wait. The picture is much better than what you get, but you still pay a premium price. Some of the mini "pretzel" dogs we ordered had raw dough still, you barely get any fries, and they ding know the difference between medium and well. The atmosphere is reminiscent of Chuck E. Cheese, but louder and less enjoyable. Service is sub par and slow. We had to ask for several things twice. This is the second time I've been here, shame on me. Then when I went to pay my bar tab, I was charged for several premium shots and beer that I never ordered. My meal started out not very well. I am 21, and I had asked for some alcohol. They ID me and of course I showed ID without any problem whatsoever. The waitress told me that she can't accept my LEGAL ID because they don't accept vertical ID's at this location, however it is not posted on the door & it doesn't say that online. So I was a little frustrated. The food was okay. The waitress took a while to bring us ranch. Please post a sign saying that you don't accept vertical ID's. I am not the type of person that leaves negative reviews I always try to find the best in places and give others a second chance, but I had a horrible experience at Dave & Buster's. I am definitely never going back, the customer service was horrible and the manager was so rude to my friends and I. Most of the games were broken and the only "good ones" you had to pay extra to play. Many of the games took your money never let you play and kept your points. My husband and I came here last Sunday night, when our appetizer was served to us not by our sever we asked for refills as we have been waiting 15 minutes with nothing to drink, 20 minutes later and still no refills. A different server dropped off our food and we asked for refills but still didn't get any. Our sever came to our table, took my husbands cup and brought him back a refill but not me, I tried to talk to her as she walked away but she just kept walking. So yeah it was pretty bad read more

If you've ever been to any other Dave and Busters, don't bother coming to this one. Like many wonderful chains that open an El Paso location, they fall well below the standard expected. Terrible service, food was served cold, witnessed a kid puke on the floor and it stayed there for almost half an hour...the list goes on. Went out with fellow employees to celebrate and recognize prior month's achievements. We chose D&B because of their advertisement of game nights with TNF and because of the games and it was near to our location. Upon arrival, I requested a table for 9. The host that approached us, told me that they didn't have any availability since it was close to closing time and only availability that was not available was a green top area, we were advised to wait approximately 30-45 minutes for a table and he said "if you want?" I was extremely upset as if D&B were doing us a favor in attending us. I requested to speak to a manager immediately upon hearing this absurdity. I was sure the manage would take care of this in a most professional manner? Well he didn't. A manager that came out to attend to me just approached me and said how can I help you? Without him introducing himself, I introduced myself to him proceeded to shake his hand which he ignored me. I felt even worse about the situation but had to swallow my words because of the time frame on hand. I simply asked if we could get a table together and that I didn't want to wait 30-45 minutes. I also asked him why he had the back are closed to patrons? He just ignored my question and told me he would see what he could do. He then left and returned 5 minutes later with a table for nine in his "closed" section. My comment is towards the manager on duty and the overall operations close to closing time for D&B. I get the labor or costs to maintain the are open to patrons and the changing trend to restaurant business that might cause D&B to take this action. I did not get the managers name cause he never introduced himself and I didn't bother asking our sever, who was extremely friendly by the way. The manager was a black thin gentlemen who I only saw twice through my visit, when I requested to speak to him and when he resolved my issue. This place is great. Servers have been great, and food is good for a chain establishment. Before 9 at night its a great place to bring the kids to have fun and play games. After nine its great for a adults to drink and also play the games. I think the reviews are a little too critical, this is an adult version of Chuck E Cheese, not even an Applebees for Chilis. People go to drink and play games not have a fine dining experience. Dont like crowded places with kids running around and groups of people (or as one reviewer said "a group of soldiers on the hunt", pretty disrespectful if you ask me) you probably shouldnt come here. So not worth it on the weekends ...... had to wait 1.5 hours for a table. We played in the meantime......when our table was ready we sat there for about 10-15 min before anyone acknowledged us. Very few waiters/waitresses avail on the floor. Finally a waitress said she would help us even though we weren't her table. The games here are great, the food is delicious, and the prizes aren't junk. It's basicly petterpiper for adults and sure it can be expensive but on wensdays games are half off and if you have the app they always have a buy 20$ get 20$ coupon at least once a month. I usually go every Wednesday to blow off steam and spend time with family. read more

Dave and busters is the same everywhere. This one is new. The games are the same. The employees act like your a nuisance when a game is broken. The food is the same here as at all others. I like it. They barely want to honor the coupons that are emailed to me, and when they do they restrict to half the chips for green games and the other half for blue games which is for games that dont give you tickets to redeem for prizes.. the whole thing is expensive and confusing. So disappointing. My boyfriend and I lost our card and it had over 23,000 tickets! We immediately spoke with the manager and he managed to get our card number but noticed all the tickets were gone. The guy who rang up our last transaction with the tickets testified that we had over 23,000 tickets but the manager said "sorry can't give that back to you". We are regular customers!! He knows our faces and he can't help us get our tickets back? Yes they are just tickets but we earned them . It would have been nice to have the manager give us our tickets back.
