Centrally located between Oakville and Mississauga, this fun center is handicap accessible and offers food and fun for the whole family. I went on a Saturday night and it was quite busy. The ring of arcade machines and laughter of children surrounds you. They have large tvs to watch sports. They had UFC on tonight. The price for the games seemed fairly on par with other similar establishments. The staff were friendly and you can go to the bar for water for free. The games for the most part were all functional. There were only two games that weren't working at all when we walked around. The machines were easy to use and fun was had by all. My favourite was DDR and Guitar hero. All the controls worked perfectly for those two games. Finally the prizes to swap tickets for don't suck! I will be returning with friends. read more

Dave and busters is a chain arcade and there's a reason why they are so big, and have so many location unfortunately for me there's only two of them within Canada but you know I make the drive out to Toronto just to be able to come here! I might be 20 something on paper but I'm still 15 at heart and Dave and busters does a great job of catering to that while also letting me get up to adult activities. That's right this place has a bar so if the gaming is going a little to hard or you need a lil something to keep up with the kiddos this is the spot. The variety in games is incredible serious best out of the arcades I've frequented you have classics like skeeze ball and pinball but then you have some brand new games hot off the press and of course you collect tickets and can redeem them for prizes, and there's not just candy and stuffed animals you can get gaming consoles blenders all kind of great stuff. Also to be noted that this location has taken covid precautions making sure there's hand sanitizer all over and masks are mandatory they also provide gloves that you can wear when touching these high traffic areas And if your hungry they have a whole menu of classic "bar food" items so like me you can spend a whole day here easily! I came to this location tonight to watch the WWE Survivor Series PPV that was advertised that will be shown. The ppv started at 8pm. I was watching it for 2 hours. Around 10:05pm when the Main Event, which is the main attraction match on the card and main readon I came to see the show was about to start the feed was cut off with no explanation given. I understand it was shown for free but people paid other expenses such as transportation and expenses of food and drinks at this location to be entertained the show you were promising to sjow and left very disappointed and hesitant to come back because the main event and main reason we came to watch was not even shown. There needs to be some kind of compensation of some kind to make up for not delivering on showing the PPV in full. We wasted our time and money tonight because of this. I first came to this location either end of Dec 2016 or early Jan 2017. D&B had recently opened up in Oakville. I remember the place being lively and fun. A stark difference between the one in Vaughan, which was dead the both times I had visited several years back. During the last week of 2018, I came to D&B four times in one week (Christmas Day, two consecutive days one weekend and on NYE) with different people. The first time going, we paid full price for chips, without any knowledge to an unlimited deal they were having. It wasn't mentioned, nor well advertised, until someone I know remembered their experience from a previous year around the holidays and mentioned it to me.. The second time onward, took advantage of this unlimited deal and played games (air hockey, basketball, etc) until our hearts content. What I noticed from going several times in one week; games weren't consistently functioning. One day, a game would be fine, the next, it was out of order. That was kind of annoying, but made sense given the number of people probably abusing game play. Three out of the four days were packed with people, particularly after the dinner rush and somewhat quieted down once younger children went home. The bar was always very busy, considering the Raptors and hockey games were televised. Had drinks, which are reasonably priced. The food appeared unappetizing and overpriced. Didn't make sense to eat at Dave and Busters while other restaurants were few minutes walk away. The arcade is located near Putting Edge, the movie theatre, iFLY and numerous other eateries. Came to Dave & Busters on Friday night for dinner and games. Considering that it was during one of their busier dinners of the week, I was surprised that we there was no line ups for a table. However, being that it was the first time I've been here it was terribly difficult to get a table since there were no hostesses at the desk and all other staff seemed to walk by and ignore you. Eventually, I was able to flag down a waitress after a while of waiting. She sat us down at the booth near the far end of the restaurant area and gave us menus that were sticky all over. Trying to order anything was very difficult as our waitress was nowhere in sight for the majority of the time. Sadly, we had to flag down a different waitress every time for her to direct our waitress to us. Waited 30 minutes of food. We ordered a plate of appetizers and a chicken sandwich as an entree. Appetizers could have came earlier but instead, it was served to us at the same time as the entree. As a result, the appetizers were cold and unpleasant to eat. The chicken sandwich itself was mediocre at best. If you're planning to eat before playing at Dave & Busters, there's plenty of other restaurants nearby with better service and quality of food. read more

I straight up come here for the games; I come after work and get the power hour option to blast away for 60 mins and try to do as many criticals/headshots as I can. I leave satisfied (and less stressed) every time. The power hour option is a good deal; I like that it's only 1 hour since it feels like a decent amount of gameplay. There used to be a 4 hour option at Playdium which was draining, and even 2 hours gets kind of boring tbh. With D&B's 1 hour card I can come here a bit more often for shorter visits, which is perfect when you're eternally tired during a 40 hr work week. The $10 price is fantastic too. The redemption games are similar to the ones elsewhere but very up to date and really fun. There's a large variety and the play styles differ enough to keep things interesting. I personally like the video games more because I like holding the gun-type controller while shooting instead of just pressing a mouse/button. I usually prefer coming on Wednesdays so I can do the power hour card and the half priced games at the same time. Compared to Playdium, the video games are very similar, but I feel like there are fewer redemption games and the ones they have are less enjoyable. Some of them rely purely on luck which is kind of boring to me, while others are of the cell phone game variety which I don't play because I can just play it on my phone. Personal fave is the clown game; I look at other games but keep coming back to that one. There weren't too many people around on Wednesday night, so I didn't have to line up for any games I wanted to play. The games area is pretty clean and I haven't had any issues with any of the machines yet. I like that there's more teens/young adults/adults here compared to Playdium; the vibe is more chill/relaxed. I haven't had the chance to try the food here yet, but since they have the cool option of redeeming tickets for food, I'll definitely give the food a try soon. read more

We came here on a Sunday around lunch time. Surprisingly it was not busy at all except couple of reserved parties... it might get busy later of the day as there were many birthday party name listed at the front desk. We only waited for a short while before someone greeted us and brought us to a table. Our server was Chris, he was polite and knows the menu. Less than 15 mins, our foods were at the table. The kids meal is a little small but the steak sandwich was tasty. I wish the bread was toasted or one of those French baguette bread instead of soft bread. It was fresh and still delicious. There are many games available compare to the playdium. It wasn't busy at all so we get to enjoy the games without waiting. The play area was clean and staff were friendly. The play token per game ranges 3 up to 12 credits. I guess depend on the play card you purchase... it can range between $0.50 to $2 per play. Will definitely come back again... but early morning.. since most reviews with few stars seems to visit the place late in the afternoon or evening where complaints are about being too crowded or poor services. read more

First time coming here and it was great so when you walk in they ask for your ID then you go And wait on line and get a card and you can put money in it and they will give you options and when you play you get points and you can go to a shop and redeem them and get cool stuff but you don't have enough points you can save it tell next time or use them for candy and every one are nice and the ask for your ID because they have a bar and the sell drinks and you can eat there too they have wings , mozzarella sticks etc... and it's great for gathering , party, birthday party and can play group games like air hockey and they have a panic room and other room too so great atmosphere and music and in the end they say thank you for coming and that make me smile :) so I will be coming again soon with friends! Way cleaner than the Vaughan location! I heard through a friend that D&B recently opened in Oakville. My fiancé decided to treat us to date night after dinner since we were near by. We came during their first week that they were open. This location is smaller than the Vaughan location but it's still a decent size. Even though we visited on a Friday night we never had to wait to play any of the games. We also didn't have any issues with the machines. We had a great time there during our visit. We will definitely return in the future when we are in the arcade mood! PS: Keep your game card for the next visit. They charge a fee when you get a card. read more

Terrible service by the red hair waitress working in the bar area. Came to Dave and Busters for dinner and games with some friends and were seated in the bar area by the host. The night was not busy at all, there were only 4 other tables seated in the area besides us. The waitress did not approach us at all for a good 15 minutes, we even walked past her on our way in so there should be no way she didn't notice us. We sat and waited and even put our hands up to try to get her attention for 10 minutes. I watched her text on her phone and talk to her coworkers while we sat here waving our hand to get her attention. It was only until the manager noticed and informed her we were waiting that she came by. When she came to us, she didn't even greet us, she just stared at us. We had to ask her if it was okay to order and then tell her what we wanted. She didn't even ask us if we wanted anything to drink, I had to prompt her that we wanted drinks as well. When she came to bring us our waters, she even spilt water all over our table and didn't even apologize, she just walked away. Terrible service, I would definitely not recommend eating here. You're better off going to McDonald's for some food before coming to Dave and busters for the games. read more

The games were certainly fun, which is what we came for. But for the service at the restaurant was a let down. We barely got any attention from the server, despite waving her over several times. The restaurant wasn't that busy either, which was the surprising thing. The food was pricey, but what we ordered, which was the mini sliders w/ ribs and fries, were decent it taste and size. The sliders had good flavour, but tasted pretty fast foodish, whereas the ribs were juicy and tender and fries were crisp. I fairly enjoyed my experience here...although I must say that you should only go for the games. Period. The service at the restaurant is insanely slow. Like turtle pace. Our server was Kaci, and she took our order...and it came after I was almost done my drink, and my partner's beer was halfway done. Whatever, we enjoyed our food mostly. However, midway I wanted water and my partner wanted a refill on his beer, told our server. After 20 minutes of waiting... another server brought HIS beer and not my water. I reminded her to please get me water and she said she will. She came back with water fairly quickly, but my original server (who I asked the water first from) came another 2 minutes after. So I had two glasses of water which I figured was fine ... And I no longer needed to wait another eternity for another refill if needed. So we watched hockey and some UFC while we finished our food and drinks, and when it was time to pay..we asked another server if we pay in the front or at the table and she said she will get our server. 20 minutes later, our server comes to our area (not table) and I was about to ask her for our bill, and she walked away. Then we waited for another 10-15 minutes. I walked up to the front and was about to complain, but I realized I stood behind her and saw her printing receipts so I went back to my table. She came to our table and my partner and I split our bill and neither of us tipped. I'm giving this place 4 stars because the arcade was just okayyy tbh. The place was packed and it was pretty poppin for a Friday evening but the arcade area was cramped. There were too many things too close to each other and the games were whatever. I was annoyed they only had 1 four way air hockey table. HOWEVER, the food was great! We had a large party of around 15 people and the waitress was great! She accommodated to all of us and even gave us separate checks without any hesitation! She was very patient with our party! My philly cheesesteak was nothing more than burnt ground beef with almost no cheese on a hot dog bun. After taxes and tip .. $18 for that piece of crap. Can i start by saying its hilarious they were checking id at the door and once inside the place is crawling with young children. You need to set boundries!! If you want drinking adults there, 2 year old children shouldnt be a drunken tripping hazard at 10pm. In comparison to the Vaughan location, this one ok just OK. The only reason I come here so often is cuz it's close to home, why drive all the way to Vaughan when it's right here?! The first few weeks it opened, they were SO BUSY! Line up was nearly out the door and the place was crammed. I guess it was so busy that their system and connections malfunctioned? Maybe they didn't anticipate such a big turnout? It took us a long time to get any credit on our cards and when we finally made it to the cashier, all systems were down...*womp womp*...it happened quite a few times during the first month that they opened. It's not as big as the Vaughan location but still very nice! It's got a great variety of games, nice bar, nice resto area, pretty clean and decent food! My husband and I pretty much come here to play basketball (the big and small one), the clown game and football! During any fights or games, it's a great place to hang out! read more

Go for the mind reading show! It's called the dave curran experience and it's a package that comes with an unlimited video game card for $30 and a CRAZY mind reading/hypnosis show. Not stupid kid stuff, real criss angel type stuff. Funny comedians too. This is the best deal because you usually drop around $50 an hour on the regular money sucking games. It's 7-12 credits per game so the packages go quick. You get unlimited video games (the ones worth playing) and 60 credits or something for the ticket grabbing games, plus a nice hour long show in the private room upstairs. If you don't want to spend more than $30, this is your best bet. We watched people wait AN HOUR AND A HALF for their food downstairs, while we were served immediately in our private room. 4/5, will definitely return to see the comedy magician next week. All the other deals can rip you off. If you're looking for a fun night out with a date, go on a Friday or Saturday and book the show and game card deal. SO worth it. So over all this was not a great experience, compared to the Vaughan location. this review is based on dining here....the games are games always fun, over priced :) Came here for dinner then games. I honestly had three bites and couldn't finish it, pushing it away to the middle of the table. Waitress came by and asked if we were finished and should she bag it up. Having been to the Dave & Busters in Vaughan I kinda already had an idea of what to expect. We came here for a large gathering for a friends Bachelor/Bachelorette party. The fact that the restaurant was able to accommodate 40 people was amazing. The food here looks delicious... looks... however I found that both my dishes I tried (pulled pizza pretzel and pulled pork sandwich) tasted bland..almost as if this is a salt free establishment. I've noticed this at the other D&B too.. The prices are very reasonable and the menu is huge. Including all sorts of ''fun'' alcoholic drinks. The games are I would say about the same size/cost of the Vaughan location, with many of the same variety of games available. My only real concern with this location is... you don't get tickets... like paper tickets.. they just get ''loaded'' to your D&B card.. kinda takes the fun out of it IMHO. You do need to purchase a D&B card for about $2, but if you remember to keep it for next time, you won't need to pay again. That being said we had countless issues trying to swipe our card that night, with a constant error,,, error...error.. try again message. Make sure to sign up on their website for free play cards when you spend a certain amount. (you can only use each coupon once, so don't try to screenshot it) This D&B is a-ok.. will probably come again, everyone loves games... 3.5/5 read more

Came here for my friend's birthday with a group of 10 people. We had called in advance to make a reservation but were told that they didn't take reservations. Anyways, we showed up at around 7:00pm, and were told that they didn't have a table for us, but we could wait at the bar and they would let us know when a table opened up, which we were ok with. 1 hour passed and we went to ask the staff if anything had become available and they said no, but it would soon. Another hour passed and we went to go ask again. Again, we were told we would be seated "soon". Finally at around 10:00pm we were given a table for "dinner". They took our orders and to nobody's surprise, the food (which wasn't good) took another half hour to come out... and not even all of it. Three of our friends' meals were brought out after the rest of the group had already finished eating. Also while bringing out the food, the server dropped fries all over my friend, the table, and the floor which weren't cleaned up until we had finished eating for some reason, although that was kind of expected by that point... At least there were fries. After asking multiple times, we were finally able to speak to a manager and explain that we had waited over three hours (some of us four) to receive our dinner. He agreed (not without difficulty) to compensate us for our meals. This was a big success and probably the highlight of the night. It was nice to see that they at least had some sense of customer service. After that adventure, we were finally able to play the games - which we could've been playing the whole time if they didn't keep telling us to wait because we "would be seated soon". It was sad that the whole dinner disaster spoiled the night because the games were actually fun. If you do decide to come here, I would recommend to just come for the games. Where do I begin? As previous reviews have stated, the bar service is absolutely atrocious. It took us almost 30 min to get a drink. All except for 1 bartender, just looked disinterested and were clearly not experienced enough to run a busy bar. We decided to talk to the manager and he did absolutely nothing other than stare at us blankly and nod his head and said thanks for letting him know. Offered no real apology, or even a shred of interest in the fact customers were having a bad experience. There were 4-5 incidents with security, managers and patrons throughout the night. I would normally assume it's from customer drunkeness. But it became very apparent that it's from the poor service, and horrible management which was very frustrating and put everyone in a bad, standoffish mood. We had food, that we didn't order, left at our table twice. It also doesn't help that they card you at the door and then card you again at the bar. Then they have a 1 drink per person policy. All this just slows down service. It's absolutely ridiculous to go up to a bar and have to have your 2 friends standing with you to order 3 drinks, in an area that did not have a lot of space to stand to begin with. Overall, just a horrible experience and I would not recommend going here on a busy night unless you want to be frustrated and agitated all night. I will never go back here unless I see a "Under New Management" sign out front. And if that doesn't happen soon, this place won't last long. read more

Service was very slow. It must have been 30 mins of waiting between getting drinks and the surprised waitress asking if we got our food. She did not show up or check up or refill our drinks during that time. The manager did give us a $25 discount. The food looks like it was sitting there waiting for it to come out. We ordered a burger with swiss cheese and no chedder. It looks like the kitchen made the burger with chedder and after realizing their mistake took off the chedder leaving most of it stucked to the burger. They then covered it up with a piece of swiss. I guess they did not think we could see or taste the yellow cheese sticking out. The burger was also dry which might have been caused by having to switch the cheese or it sitting around. The spicey chicken sliders that we also ordered did not hold up well from the waiting. By the time we got it, the sour cream had melted and was running off with each bite. What a mess. Scored two stars due the manager trying to make it better. This restraurant seem to be overwhelmed but I did witness another waitress serving her area well. I went here the other day with a couple of friends. We arrived around 10, and the place was already packed! I didn't try the food so this is a review based on experience. The place was nice and clean and organized nicely but it is smaller than the Vaughan location. It was crowded when we entered and the line up to get ID and the cash line was mixed together, so we couldn't tell where to start or where it ended. The bar look fantastic but grabbing drinks were hard since there wasn't enough walkway and the bar seats where everywhere.. Making it an obstacle to get a drink. And washroom was pretty bad.. Smelt like people smeared poo all over the walls. Lol Other than that place was great. I would go again.. But maybe if I had to choose which location it would be the Vaughan's. read more
