We stopped in Kelly's Landing to watch the Bluejays game. Nice that it was walking distance from our hotel. We enjoyed a mug of Steam Whistle Pilsner while the staff was very accommodating when trying to find the Bluejays game amongst the World Cup games. We enjoyed the pasta dish and the burger. Cooked to our liking and hot fries! It was loud but fun, it's a sports bar!!

It was my first time trying out Kelly's Landing and I had an okay experience. The location is great with nice hosts but overall I was quite disappointed with my time here. Our server was not attentive what so ever, he took quite a while to even take our order and at one point we had to wave him down. It was quite disappointing to know that this was how we were treated coming out for dinner. Now when it comes to the food, also nothing special. I ordered the Steak & Prawns but it definitely lacked flavours. Where I know the server was not being attentive was when I had asked for medium well and it came out medium rare. The prawns were garlicky and flavourful but the steak was definitely underwhelming. We also ordered the Nachos with Chicken (chicken was extremely bland), Calamari (nothing special), Parm fries (probably best thing I had), and the Trio Dip (which was alright). Overall was a mid experience and not sure I would come back, after the way we were treated. 5.5/10 Recommend!

Really enjoyed the food here, but it was kind of overly busy and the server was kind of rude. I enjoyed the prosciutto and brie pizza (be warned though it's big for one person, I couldn't finish it), lemon & herb parm frittes, and pineapple wheat ale. Easy, basic lunch vibe. Be warned though that there is not really enough space if you need to bring your luggage with you on the way out of town. The space around the booths/tables is tight.

The food was truly great, definitely worth the wait despite the busy 2026 FIFA World Cup season. Its prime location next to Union Station and the Fairmont Royal Hotel makes it an ideal spot for both travelers and locals. Highly recommend for a delicious meal in a convenient setting. This place gets really busy, so keep in mind you might have to wait to order more food or get the bill.

I almost needed earphones to keep my head from ringing. I couldn't even hear the fire engine running by on an emergency call! We were told it was a 10 minute wait on a table; bar was full (Boo!)...so once we WERE seated, we got stuck at a wobbly two topper stuck between two other couples. Blech! I was ready to walk outta the place when I noticed two seats open up at the bar...Yay! So off we went and left our hapless waitress and her minions at our wobbly azz table. Our bartender was a lovely young lady; busy as all hell but still attentive enough to warrant a good grade from my own perspective. No fake happiness or chatter like the waitress from earlier possessed. We both decided to settle on the Spanish theme they had adopted for the present. While their whole menu was available, this place seems to create themes and special menus to serve the theme's purpose. One such thing was Madrí Exepcional, a lager from central Spain. There were also a few "tapas" items and a couple of main dishes. I ordered all three tapas and Queen Bee chose their mussels and chorizo entree. So the three tapas they had were 1. Croquetas de pollo (chicken croquettes) 2. Patatas Bravas (spicy roasted potatoes) 3. Gambas al ajillo (shrimp & garlic sauce) I put these in order of my level of pleasure. They all worked in their own way, but the croquettes were the least successful of the lot. However, they came with a super smokey aioli dipping sauce, which was astronomically successful. Potatoes were nicely flavored with a similar sauce on top of their good crisp finish. Shrimp were nicely grilled and swam in a garlic sauce that worked quite nicely with the well toasted bread. My mug of draft served well as a wash-down tool. Speaking of washing down, Queen Bee ate every single last mussel in the huge bowl, plus the nicely flavored chorizo which actually tasted better than any crap one would expect from the ol' Sysco truck or Goya section of the local Piggly Wiggly. She also mopped up every last bit of sauce with similar well-grilled bread. Only drawback as I mentioned earlier is the absolute over the top noise in this joint. It was jam packed on a Tuesday evening with mostly young hipster types. The horrendously loud music was club type noise you'd never catch me DEAD listening to. We both found the food tasty. Bartendress was pleasant and kept a good distance, which is how I like it. If I could give this joint three and a half stars, I would. The cacophonous, club-like atmosphere definitely takes away from my overall impression of this phony-azz pretentious joint. Since I'll never be back here again, I personally don't care that much whether I'm giving too big a rating or too small. So three stars it is!!!

Came here after work with large group of coworkers as we were visiting from another office. Seriously fun spot that was totally packed and a great ambiance of music vibe and energy. The wait staff was very attentive filling our order quickly, taking care of drinks which our water glass never went below half way and the food omg sooooo tasty. Would I come here... yesssss id make it a stop when I come back to visit Toronto.

I definitely underestimated Kelly's Landing. I've been working steps away from the restaurant for almost four years, and finally tried it for the first time last week. It was a great place for a business lunch, the prices were pretty fair for a downtown restaurant and the service was good considering how busy it was. My favourite dish was definitely the calamari, which was a generous portion and tasty. My burger and fries were good, nothing too special, but enjoyable for sure. The overall bill, including two non-alcoholic beverages, was under $100 including tax and tip. Really not bad for the amount of food we got. I'll be back!

I had heard this place was popular and wanted to try it while I was in town. It took about three days to get a reservation at a convenient time but I finally got one. They have so many dishes that sound good, but I decided on the bacon jam & cheddar burger and upgraded the fries to the garlic & herb parmesan fries. I didn't see or taste a lot of the white cheddar on the burger but it was still one of the best burgers I ever had. Quality beef with arugula, crispy onions, the bacon jam and a delicious sauce all went very well together. Loved the fries too. They had fresh grated Parmesan over them and came with a yummy aoli sauce. I also had a blueberry mojito. I left there full and happy! Would definitely eat there again when I'm in Toronto.

Nice place located in the Toronto Financial District. Located next to union station. Our party of four was promptly greeted and sat. Nice ambiance! I ordered the bacon jam cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. Good portion size and I rally liked the bacon jam. Also ordered a basil old fashioned. V nice. Overall a nice experience and I highly recommend!

We went during the Taylor Swift craziness and that sat our group of 5 within 10 minutes. They were pretty efficient and the food was also delicious! I got the carbonara with a side ceasar and thought it was pretty good! It was a little loud in there as expected, but pleased with the food.

The pasta sauce was a bit too watery, which made the rigatoni almost soupy. However, the Brussels sprouts were absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was lively, which is to be expected given the restaurant's location--right across from Union Station and in the same area as the CN Tower and Rogers Centre.

Amazing restaurant! Me, my wife, and our friend discovered this place as we were hungry and didn't want to wait long for a wheelchair Uber or Lyft from Union Station so we decided to get a late lunch/early dinner here. They told us we had to leave before 5 since it was booked then, so we knew the place had to be good. Nonetheless, the service was so friendly and accomodating. My wife and I shared two beers with delicious maple glazed chicken and beef tenderloin rigatoni. The ambiance was nice as well, family friendly and casual but not too loud or tacky.

After leaving the airport and getting out of union station we were soo hungry. We wanted food immediately and this place was near Union station and our Airbnb stay. It took some time for them to seat us because we requested an area big enough to put our bags down. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The burgers were so juicy!! The drinks were very refreshing never had these combinations before and I enjoyed every drop in that cup. There are TVs and soo much seating areas. You are able to have a conversation and it's not noisy. The servers are helpful and knowledgeable of the menu.

Beertown occupies a commanding footprint in Toronto's Financial District -- a sprawling,…read moreenergetically lit gastropub that announces itself with a theatre of gleaming taps and an open, convivial floor plan designed unapologetically for the after-work crowd. It is, in many respects, exactly what it intends to be: a loud, generous, unpretentious haven for those emerging from Bay Street offices or rallying before a Scotiabank Arena event. The beer programme is the undisputed centerpiece. The selection is vast and thoughtfully curated, spanning local GTA craft offerings alongside storied European imports such as Erdinger and La Trappe. Flights arrive on paddles with coasters identifying each pour -- a charming detail that rewards the curious drinker. One could spend an entire evening simply navigating the rotating taps, and many regulars do precisely that. The kitchen delivers pub fare that, while familiar in concept. Service is warm and attentive on its best evenings, with staff who clearly understand the rhythm of a busy house. However, during peak hours the pace can stretch thin, and a lapse in table attention can surface. The noise level is considerable -- an unavoidable consequence of the venue's scale and popularity. Those seeking quiet conversation will find it a challenge; those seeking energy and the communal hum of a city unwinding will feel entirely at home. For the corporate denizen of the Financial District, or the sports fan looking for a spirited pre-game gathering point, Beertown is a reliable and genuinely enjoyable destination. The beer alone is worth the visit.

I'm not sure if it was our server's break but a couple of other servers came to check on us but couldn't (wouldn't?) take our order until our actual server arrived a while later, which was maybe 20 minutes or so. Not deterred, as we were hungry and thirsty - we ordered the giant beer paddles for our table to share and also a few apps. The beer arrived warm quite a while later and also only had the breweries names on the coasters, not the actual name of the beer so we guessed on a few. The apps were not memorable and were only warmish - so was not blown away. Too bad as the location nearer to me in Oakville was much better in terms of food and service. Even though my office is steps away, I wouldn't rush back.

Ambiance - 4/5: similar to most sports bar, it's dim and loud with a lot of sports games on tv. They had a lot of reservations so the tables were split off for our small reservation. It felt a little tight. There seems to be 2 levels of seating. Service - 3.75/5: we got there early but they were nice enough to seat us early. The host sweetly pulled out my seat for me. It took us awhile to decide what to order but the server was patient with us. He checked in on us a few times. Maybe because the tables are tight, servers kept knocking into my chair seving other patrons and my seat is all the way into the table. Food - 3.5/5: I appreciate that the menu gives little historical moments that happened over the years. we ordered: Spinach dip - comes with chips and pita. Some of the chips were heavily seasoned. The pita is soft but doesnt really absorb much of the spinach dip. The dip itself is light in flavor. I prefer the chips over the pita Steak frites - we ordered medium rare and they got the cook right. The steak knife is very bendy. It should have been a AAA striploin but for some reason it felt tough and was hard to cut through. The charcoal grill marks made the exterior too burnt, giving it a bitterness to the steak. It came with an arugula salad and a very genorous portion of fries. Everything was seasoned well. The arugula salad and the chimmichuri on the steak had a tartness to it which added some brightness to the dish. I typically don't use ketchup but I needed it to help me with the fries. I could not finish the fries Sundae - there's probably only 1 scoop worth of vanilla ice cream. It comes in a cup with whipped cream and berries. Overall: 3.75/5 - If we come back, I might try other food items.
