Special Birthday Celebration
Linda P.

Fabulous Menu, huge assortment of delicious appetizers and fabulous large portion main course meals! We Love the Clarkson Pump, never ever disappoints. BEST IN CLARKSON! Excellent venue for our special family celebrations today we had a wonderful birthday party for my Son and daughter plus we were seated to catch every second of the Football AFC Championships Buffalo vs KC game! Excellent food, service and atmosphere! recommend!! 5 Star all the way!

Jerk wings

We came on a Tuesday for the wing night specials. Most other tables had wings as well. You could order different flavors in multiples of ten. We didn't know until we were paying, but the waiter said you could mix flavors within a batch, so we may try that next time. They took a while to take our orders but it was also very busy so that could explain it. Overall, we would come again but it's also pretty average for a pub.

Caprice sandwich and Buddha bowl.

Excellent menu, service, food and vibe! The covered patio is a great atmosphere. Quick service also.

Poutine and Dry Cajun Wings

An old favourite whenever we are in town. Good, old-style pub with a great patio. Came as a group of five. Ordered Dry Cajun Wings and a Poutine. They were ok but i have definitely had better. Had them with a Angry Orchard cider so all was ok in the end. It was a "one wasp" lunch, which didn't fair well for the wasp.

These are the smallest utility grade wings I have ever seen! That's a Loonie on the plate with $3.30 worth of wings.

They charge $1.10 per wing, and they are so small I asked the server if they were chicken nuggets! I've added a photo to this review so that you can see that I am not exaggerating when I say that they are the smallest I have ever seen. The servers were nice enough, but with so many other places nearby, we will not be returning.

If you haven't tried anything from Granville Island Brewing, try something! Ginja Ninja is pretty unique.

Clarkson Pump has some of the best wings in the area. Don't forget to ask for them grilled and dusted - it's seriously the best!

Fun casual atmosphere. Best wings but order them grilled. Delicious. Friendly staff. The neighbourhood place to be.

We were intrigued by it's fusion tapas style, even though we had originally thought that it was a Spanish tapas place. I was with a party of six, and we were served by an extremely friendly server that night. We ordered some tacos, flatbreads and a mango papaya salad. Each dish was quite well prepared, and since it was a mix of a lot of different cultures' foods, I was satisfied with the level of authenticity. However, because they were trying to do a lot of different styles, I feel like the quality was not as good as if they did something more focused. Also, I think it would be worth it to consider some more substantial dishes like a fried rice, etc. I know it's a tapas focused place, but I found that for a party of 6, I still didn't feel too satisfied after trying all the dishes we got. I hope that they can continue to upgrade their menu, because I think it's a really nice place already, but improvements can be made. I also think that since it's mostly serve in a back alley patio right now, there were a lot of wasps and it wasn't the cleanest back alley, so that is my other reason for giving this place 3 stars. I'm sure that when they get back to serving in their unit, the quality of the experience will go up!

The food here is really good, along the lines of classic English pub food. Service is good and the bar tenders are attentive and friendly. Nice place to be. Tonight, I had the Landlords Chicken Curry. Acceptable spice heat for me. I enjoy spicy hot food. You might consider skipping the firm dollop of yogurt on top. Kinda out of place and off putting. I was here tonight on 19-MAr-18 for dinner and drinks. Nigel, the owner sat next to me to talk to another guy. He bought me a beer and essentially told me to shut-up because I was a Yankee, then made references to Donald Trump. Personally, I can say Donald Trump does not represent me as an American. I'm completely offended. I will not come here again.

We ordered a banquet burger with fries and I asked for the shepherds pie which wasn't available sadly so I opted for bangers and mash. When our food arrived the burger was well received as were the fries. The bangers and mash was not good. The mash was okay but the sausages were overcooked and hard. I suspect they had been refried. The beans were not good either. I like this pub and it obviously has a great clientele. It's unfortunate that the kitchen didn't come up to scratch for me, perhaps due to it being quiz night? A popular bar with a true local pub ambiance. Shame about the sausages.

My…read morefriend from Toronto drove to Mississauga with her partner, and we settled on Pump House Grille. Honestly, the food was good but I had to take some marks off for the service. First, the kitchen staff was very evidently not wearing masks properly - over four had their masks pulled down over their chins and/or fully exposing their noses. Second, the service was painstakingly slow. It took them over half an hour to serve our dishes after we placed our orders. As for the food, I ordered the lobster avocado wrap but with the tiger sauce on the side as I was worried it'd be a touch too soggy. I think it was a good decision as the tomato and smashed avocado were sufficient to make the toasted wrap wet already. The lobster was decent - there was more meat than I expected, but some of the meat was quite soft (not al dente as fresh lobster often is). The bacon and toasted wrap helped add some texture mouthfeel, which I appreciated. For those wondering, the "tiger sauce" was a slightly spicy, sour mayo-based sauce. My friends ordered the Cuban panini and the sliders. Both found the food portions to be quite generous and were stuffed after the meal! Overall, it was a decent experience. The patio is a tad too close to the road so it can be a bit loud, and do be prepared for a wait if you plan on eating here.
