1. Our event has 22 children but there was only one person assigned to our event. While I think she did her best and was very kind, she was still only one person. 2.We did the stack n play 1030-1230 party and we never received the chocolate syrup, strawberries, or whip cream(I was told it was still frozen and she did bring out a small plate after I asked with what she could gather from the frozen whip cream) we should have had pancakes, syrup, chocolate syrup, whip cream, sprinkles, strawberries, and Oreo crumbles per the website. 3.The drink containers were not filled until after the kids had already eaten and were asking for a beverage. 4. I kept the children at the table because the food was to be served at 1045 but was not served until 1100 which made it more difficult for us to stay on schedule. 5. The "unlimited" green games was very unfortunate as the amount of green games was extremely minimal. I was very shocked at how little games were actually green. It would be very nice if after the $10 is spent that the kids could still play any game but just not receive tickets. That truly limited them and was such a bummer. 6. Multiple cards (to include my birthday boys bracelet) stopped working even for green games. While they worked to fix this it took away even more of their playing time which was very frustrating. The employees also wanted to know which kid and which games specifically thinking it was a game issue so that too took time to work through. 7. The gratuity auto placed on the receipt is not just on food but also on the cost of the game cards which is strange. In addition it is not listed as gratuity but something else which had I not prepared for that ahead of time I would have missed this entirely. 8. I ordered 3 platters (grapes/strawberries/cheese) and bacon (but this was per person pricing of a side) it would be very nice if you offered some sides options in addition to the two pancakes per person for this breakfast party. The other times have so many options and this one I had to piece together to feel complete. Over all the host for our party was very kind and worked her best for us I feel. But there were multiple unfortunate frustrations for us which was a bummer. read more

Overpriced and never clean. I'm basing my review off their arcade and bathrooms. I have had a birthday party there and have attended for various events but I'd like to make note that their machines are outdated, overpriced, and constantly breaking. We've been to other locations and they have way more to offer. The "prizes" are SHEIN quality. Their employees are helpful but need to clean better. Every table or area we took a break at was dirty and we came during a slow time so it was not busy at all. The bathrooms were so nasty that I had to go out to the mall to take my little to use the restroom. We don't normally eat here during our morning visits so I can't say much on their food or drinks. Overall, if it wasn't for the kids asking to stop by I would never frequent this location. We now tend to go across the street to the small crane arcade afterwords to at least get some bang for our bucks. read more

I understand that it's the holidays and restaurants can get busy but this place honestly wasn't even that crowded. We were seated quickly and everything seemed fine at first but after that the service really went downhill. It took about 15 minutes just to get our drinks. We ordered our food which took around 20 minutes to come out but when it arrived we weren't given any utensils. After waiting another 10 minutes for utensils my food was already cold. I ordered a burger and on top of everything they were extremely stingy with the napkins basically none were provided, so I had to rush to the restroom. Waiting close to 45 minutes total with only a moderate amount of people in the restaurant is pretty crazy. Overall the slow service really ruined the experience. Perfect spot for watching football games. Tons of TVs everywhere and plenty of space, so no matter where you sit, you've got a clear view of the action. The sports bar vibe was on point and made game day feel exciting. Food-wise, they were out of a decent amount of items, which was a little disappointing, but what I did get delivered. Ordered the bistro steak and shrimp Alfredo pasta and cleaned the plate--every single bite. Solid portions and very satisfying. After eating, we hit the arcade. It was definitely crowded, but with so many games, it was still easy to jump on the ones I wanted without too much waiting. Went to Dave & Buster's on a Wednesday at noon for a work gathering (holiday luncheon). We had some appetizers and game cards. Food was good, but not great. Games are pretty fun, most aimed at an older audience (not really for super young kids). It kind of reminds me of a casino inside--no windows, kind of darkly lit. They do have a full bar and menu. We came to this location on September 21st to have a fun night out with the family. Once you walk in the staff behind the counter was friendly and inviting however, it went down hill from there. While my family was playing games I decided to head over to the bar area to order some drinks and food for when they took a break. I went to the 2 hostess which were to busy in their phones to even notice me until I started talking to them. They informed me the whole food area was open seating so I sat down on one of the back tables closest to the games and waited to be helped. After 15minutes no one came to assist me so i moved to a table closer to the bar. While doing this one of the busboys came over and cleaned the table and I informed him of what was going on he assisted me on getting me assistance and bringing me menus (he totally saved the situation and wished I had got his name). Shortly there after a waiter named Sean came by which he apologized as he was assisting a large group sitting front of me and was in the back getting their food. After dropping off their food off he came back over to me and was extremely friendly, offered suggestions on drinks, and brought the food and drinks out in zero flat! He checked on my family and I many times and was an enjoyable person and saved the night compared to whoever my first waiter was supposed to be and the disrespectful hostesses. Overall, the fried pickles, truffle fries, and drinks (waters, and nirvana) I would highly recommend. Also this location offers jelly shots that are to die for and absolutely will knock you out your chair! There were a couple of overly drunk adults that were rude and women who were walking around the space with kids with barely any clothes on however, there were several Virginia Beach Police officers near the bar that seem to monitor fairly well and seemed to be observant. Overall, for adults it is definitely a fine environment but if you have kids I would definitely suggest coming in before 7pm. read more

Husband and I were in VA beach for the week. It was a brutal heat wave and we wanted something to do during the day after visiting the Aquarium. This Dave & Buster's is in a mall, it has its own entrance near the Macy's parking lot. The arcade was clean and appeared to be well maintained. All of the games were working. We had a couple of happy hour drinks at the bar. Our bartender was nice and made our drinks quickly. Since it was midday there weren't many people there so we roamed around, played games, and enjoyed our time inside from the sun. I had a very disappointing experience at Dave & Buster's last night. To start, the bartender, "Ash," questioned my identification and immediately assumed it was fake simply because she felt I didn't look old enough. While she later explained that a coworker had been fired over an incorrect ID check, that situation had nothing to do with me and didn't justify the way I was treated. I was then made to wait about 10-15 minutes for a manager to review my ID. The manager also claimed it might be fake because he was unfamiliar with the issuing state. Instead of resolving the situation professionally, he involved on-duty police officers to verify it. After waiting an additional 20 minutes, my ID was finally confirmed as valid. To make matters worse, after all that time, my order was still incorrect. I received boneless wings instead of bone-in, and the overall service was extremely slow. It took far too long to get anyone's attention or receive assistance. This entire situation significantly cut into the time I had already paid for to play games, which made the experience even more frustrating. Overall, the service was inefficient, unprofessional, and disappointing. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. please teach your staff how to Read Identification cards , it's no reason an officer should be needed to authenticate an ID if the establishment is selling alcohol. read more

Service is terrible. We come here strictly for the air hockey and basketball games. Game play is half off one Wednesdays. I like that you can get a digital play card within the app and a free $15 in play the first time you download. Drinks are as to be expected and its hard as heck to track down a bartender although they are just standing at the end of the bar socializing. It's honestly kinda of gross and sticky here. The service was terrible from the start, we waited over 30 minutes with no assistance before having to go find someone ourselves. The food was also unacceptable. Our nachos were clearly sitting out before being served: the guacamole was completely brown, the sour cream was dried out, and the whole dish looked and tasted gross. Things got worse when we tried to redeem our prizes. One of the prizes didn't work, so we asked an employee for help, who then called the floor manager (I believe his name was Chris). He was dismissive and rude the entire time. He even tried to kick us out for being under 18 despite the fact that we had a guardian with us, making assumptions about our age before even addressing the issue. His only solution was to swap the prize for another identical one, but those didn't work either. When we explained that, he basically said there was nothing else he could do and walked away. Very disappointed with the customer service at Dave & Buster's in Virginia Beach. I had an 8 o'clock reservation, but the hostess rudely informed me I'd still have to wait 45 minutes without offering any explanation or further instructions. She was brash, avoided eye contact, and even displayed attitude toward the manager when he tried to address the situation. Thankfully, the manager stepped in, apologized sincerely, and seated us right away, but the whole experience left a bad impression. The manager's professionalism saved the evening, but the initial encounter with the hostess was unacceptable. The young ladies at the ticket station were pleasant and helpful, but the hostess really put a bad start on what was supposed to be a fun family night for myself and my children. My children were like, "mom we should've went somewhere else" and they were initially excited about going for the food and games. Then, it took them about 45 minutes to put the football game on the screen so we missed the first half hour. Ugh! Then, it took over 45 minutes for our waitress to take our orders. She told us that they are out of all the entrees, salads, and potstickers. Our waitress told us that they were running a Veteran's Day special on Friday and Saturday, but corporate didn't plan for it since they didn't realize that VB is such a military town. how can they not realize this??? I tried to order the buffalo wings but of course, they didn't have any buffalo sauce. I tried the Nashville Hot sauce and it was nasty and not even spicy but sweet. The water is also nasty tasting. Then, it took 38 minutes to get our food. One of us ordered nachos and it was pathetic and nasty since it only had about 5 chunks of chicken and a few pieces of corn and beans on it. We asked them not to put jalapeños on it but that doesn't mean to skimp on the chicken, corn, and beans. I can't believe the server would even bring the nachos when they looked like this. The bar area had a lot of seating with tv screens surrounding it as well and a great bartender who poured me my drink!. I left off two stars because: 1. Our waitress was not the best, I don't know if she was overwhelmed or was it because she was focused more on the table of guys in our seating area, but whatever the reason her service was not up to par!. It was not until we brought it to the attention of a manager that she started to show some get up about herself! At that point it was too late because we were all ready to leave at that point. I would definitely return because I enjoyed the atmosphere! But I would definitely avoid that particular waitress upon my next return. 2. I don't usually eat here, as the food isn't my favorite and I can get more bang for my buck in the food court in the mall. Usually come once or twice a month, but I've recently noticed they've increased the prices of the games and it seems like a ridiculous amount of money to play some of these. Especially if it's not on one of the half off days. The prize center is typically empty and if there are items stocked, it never changes. I moved here a year ago, went to D&B on the west coast often (for food and games), but this is the worst location I've experienced. Might need to travel to a farther location if I want to spend these tickets. read more

My friend and I purchased tickets for the AYCE wings and Game's. Got there and sat around 5:45 waited 15mins order drinks and wings cool. Played games came back 35mins later still no drinks or wings. 20mins goes by waitresses brings soda but no water that we asked and No food. Been over a hour now with onky getting part of drink order. The short guy with Andrew lunch jersey tried his best but clearly wasn't prepared for this situation and knew nothing about how to deal with anything but maybe what sauce you can get on the wings. Then taller Manager came from behind the bar with a attitude and asked us what did we want him to do give us $25 play car ?? With a attitude?? Really so You take our money and waste our Time during the Biggest Football and Live event in America ruined our time watching the game. Just ask us what do we want ?? How about proper customer service and some action to make a wrong right. By far worst experience ive had at a Dave and Buster. We were in Dave & Buster's on Saturday the place was crazy busy and so was our server mair she was simply delightful very knowledgeable about power cards and the menu she recommended items and of course we chose them delicious drinks from the bar were colorful and tasty and drinks made the games much funner. we will be back and hope to be served by the wonderful mair! read more

We don't come often, but the last few times we have been here, we see Chyna. She's always super busy, but friendly and efficient. Kept the refills coming. Barbacoa fries, fish and chips, and mozzarella stack were all delicious. There were a lot of games not working when we were there. Connect 4, skeeball and bowling, an elevator shooting game, and a couple others. Luckily there are a lot of other games to play. It's expensive but we had fun with what we had available to us. We only came for the games today. Its always a lot of fun the whole family had a great time. It seems like a lot of the games cost a lot more points now most were 10-12 points each game. So we went though our cards extremely fast. And didn't want to keep loading them since we had done four cards for $45. The prize section is great for the kids they really enjoyed it. The back of the arcade floor smelled of urine it was pretty bad. I did think it was AWESOME that you can trade in your tickets for some food items! That's great for the adults that are not into the prizes! It's always great family time! read more

This review is for the Dining Divas Drag Brunch (although we do bring our toddler to D&B regularly)! This was my first experience with drag brunches (or shows in general) and have had an absolute blast each time! The queens are funny, the DJ is amazing, and the food has always been good.
