Saw that they were starting dinners at the Krave on Friday nights. My husband has wanted to try this spot so we got reservations. The decor was great, romantic ambiance with candles and live music. We were told the dinner is a prefixed 4 course meal. First course was toasted sliced baguette or a soup which was a broth with veggies in it. The soup was good and the Olive oil mixer got the bread was good as well. For second course my husband got oyster rockerfeller and I got a cesar salad. So far things were decent. For the third course in got the v prime rib that came with a cheesy hassle back potato and broccoli. I wanted the brussel sprouts & mashed potatoes that came with the lamb chops but the waitress said the sides couldn't switched. My husband got the lamb chops, so we switched sides. Service was slow so one would assume the food would come out HOT, especially when my husband & I were the second couple seated. There were 4 couples in total that were there during our visit. The entrees came out lukewarm and had NO Flavor!! My broccoli was mushy, terribly overcooked. I Love brussel sprouts and the ones that came with my husband's meal were the WORST I have Ever had in a restaurant. They had No flavor aside from the drizzle they put on them. His mashed potatoes weren't hot & there were clumps of potatoes that weren't mashed. How was the broccoli softer than the mashed potatoes?!! When the waitress came back by I told her about the sides. She just apologized & walked away. The prime rib I got was super chewy. It was very dim inside so I thought the first few pieces was I cut was cooked medium as requested. I cut into the middle I used the flashlight on my phone to see that it definitely was Not medium. After the Disappointing third course it was time for dessert. The menu states mini chocolate lab cake, mini cheesecake or chocolate mouse. The waitress said the two options available were the lava cake or lemon pound cake. The lava cake was ok, even though it was barely warm. My husband didn't enjoy the pound cake. The owner came by during the appetizers to ask how things were, which was good at the time. Once entrees came out he was sitting with friends eating and enjoying himself. I noticed his friends didn't eat their sides either smh. While they initially ordered lamb chop entrees he went back in the kitchen and brought them out a "prime rib" I'm sure since he went and got one for himself and his friends that they were cooked well. Extremely disappointed in this dinner. Maybe they should stick to their regular bar food.

This place have good vibes but the food do not match. I hate to give it 1 star knowing the vibes and how it looks. Here is the reason why. 1. The food ( I understand you trying to build up your brand but please cook your own food instead buying it outsourced). 2. I ordered an old fashion but the waitress gave me a glass you would have at your house. The old fashion was good by the way. 3. The food ( dinner service) my wife orders a steak rib forgot because I was that pissed. IT WAS RAW!!!!! we told the waitress she ignored us better yet the owner himself was sitting right beside us didn't check to see the food was good. He seems like he knew the food wasn't good but he went to the back to grab him and his friend plate and was having a good time as if their dishes were done. This is your business act like it. Check on your workers. 4. Seasoned. I ordered lamb chops for the dinner service. Putting BBQ sauce on the lamb chops is not seasoning. My lamb chops were not seasoned at all. Price range For the dinner event ( nice establishment but the food terrible). $80 per service ( 3 course meal) Our waitress she was great but it seems as if she was the only one there so it was very difficult to reach her. Please check your dishes before you serve to your customers The steak or rib that serve to my wife was tough the lamb chops weren't seasoned. If you going to have those dishes on the menu you need to cook it yourself and know how to properly cook it. !!!!!!!!!!! Warning !!!!!!!!!!!! Do not order the dinner service, with the drink and dinner if you on a date $240 is it worth absolutely not. I respect it's a black owned business but do not start something if you haven't practice it. I prefer you cook your own food. This place has potential but the owner needs to act like an owner.

Memorial Day Weekend was the grand opening. We joined a small group of friends for a quick Chat & Chew; Cocktails and Catch up with my crew. lol The menu was simple yet delicious. The drinks were yummy. The outdoor area was the best. It was chillier than typical for this time of year but the fire pit table was a plus. We will definitely visit again and again.

Salmon Eggrolls. Yes, when they came to the table, the sauce was spilled over like that.

I stopped in on a Wednesday around 3:00 p.m. and waited about 40 minutes for a table for one. I ordered the raw oysters and fried oysters from the happy hour menu, along with additional raw oysters that weren't on happy hour: Hatteras Salts, North Shore Gold, and Laughing Kings. The Laughing Kings were my favorite. I also had an oyster shooter, the Pura Vida mocktail, and the white sangria. Everything was absolutely delicious. Leamon was my server, and he was attentive, friendly, and very polite throughout the meal. He never made me feel rushed, which is something that can sometimes happen when dining solo. Everything arrived promptly, and finished dishes were cleared away quickly without being intrusive. The quality of the food, excellent service, and consistently enjoyable atmosphere are why I keep coming back. If you're an oyster lover, this place is definitely worth a visit.

One piece of advice: arrive a little before Happy Hour begins at 3:00 p.m. If you wait until then, you'll likely find yourself several people deep in line. Don't let that discourage you. Embrace it, because once you're seated you'll quickly discover that the wait was well worth it. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices--especially during Happy Hour--are outstanding. The Atlantic specializes in oysters, and their Happy Hour runs daily from 3:00-6:00 p.m., including weekends. We began with a Chopped Caesar Salad ($9). Every ingredient was crisp, fresh, and flavorful--a simple dish executed exactly as it should be. Next came the oysters: a dozen Rockefeller and a dozen Pacific. The Rockefeller oysters were everything you would expect from this classic preparation--rich, savory, and baked beautifully. The Pacific oysters, however, completely stole the show. Each oyster was topped with a delicious combination of chorizo sausage, pepper jack cheese, and seasonings before being baked to perfection. They were bold, flavorful, and easily my favorite item of the afternoon. I also ordered the Double Stack Cheeseburger ($7), and what a terrific value. The burger arrived piping hot, loaded with melted cheese, and accompanied by a generous serving of crispy fries. It's hard to imagine finding a better burger at that price anywhere along the Oceanfront. My wife ordered the pork, shrimp, and kimchi dumplings served with a chili crunch and ponzu sauce that tied the entire dish together beautifully. She jokingly threatened to drink the remaining sauce after finishing the dumplings (she didn't), but she did convince me to dip one of my fries into it. She was absolutely right--it was fantastic. In fact, I now regret turning down the dumpling she generously offered me. Part of the fun of dining here is watching Shuck-Master Slim work. He's not only remarkably skilled but entertaining as well, adding a little personality to an already enjoyable experience. From the fresh seafood to the outstanding value and friendly atmosphere, this was another memorable visit to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. If you haven't been to The Atlantic on Pacific, I highly recommend adding it to your list. You'll be glad you did, and you can rest assured that you're helping support one of our outstanding local restaurants.

I could have eaten just a bowl of those. I didn't try anything else but everyone that did was raving about how good the food was. Service was good. Sometimes a little difficult to get water. I think they even have HH in the back bar. Open kitchen. Friendly staff. Foodies would enjoy this place. Worth the check out.

I also tried to order a French 1605, and while they didn't end up having all the ingredients, the bartender was still completely game to make something off-menu and clearly knew their spirits well. Always appreciate a bartender who actually understands balance and flavor instead of just reading recipes off a card. We also ordered the deviled quail eggs, bulgogi lettuce wraps, and potstickers. Everything was good, though our other table ended up being ready way faster than expected, so we had to take most of it to go. One small PSA: the menu calls them "jumbo" quail eggs, but quail eggs are tiny creatures of nature to begin with, so don't walk in expecting chicken egg-sized deviled eggs.

It is fully shaded which was nice considering we had some young kids with us. Service staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. Drinks were delivered very fast by the bartender. 2nd rounds were offered prior to the drinks being empty which shows good serving habits. The serving portions were very plentiful and played very well on the brunch theme! Burger was cooked medium well but still very juicy with a delicious mayo based sauce. The chicken and biscuit was juicy and the biscuit was flaky and delicious. It would have served the dish well TJ have a little more syrup. I also loved the unique hash tots.
