We had issues with them in the beginning ,but Eric fixed our problems in the end, he is very nice guy and highly recommended

Dave & Kelly's was assigned to a home warranty call - our air handler blower motor was failing. Eric got in touch with me the same day I requested service and came by that evening. He determined that we needed to replace the blower motor and capacitor. He had both parts his truck and installed them while he was there. The whole repair only took a couple of hours. He also came by a couple days later to replace a broken piece of duct that he'd noticed while he was fixing the air handler! Eric was very friendly and professional and proud of his work. Obviously nobody wants to have to call an HVAC repair company, but if you do, I highly recommend Dave & Kelly's. read more

During record heat my air conditioner stopped working...I was in a panic. Same day service, fixed the problem right away and Kelly was very friendly and professional. It only cost me a $60 service call, no extras for same day service. I am so relieved that we won't be sleeping in 100+ weather tonight. read more

I previously reviewed Dave and Kelly's many years ago. They always gave us the best service and were the best guys. Since then, Kelly and Dave have both passed away and someone else owns the company. I called to have someone come out and clean out our 2 year old A/C, and they confirmed the appointment but no one showed up and when I called no one answered or returned the call. We were really sad about Dave's passing, he was a really wonderful person who would have never left his customers hanging. Very sad situation. I will probably try them again in the future since our units are under warranty, hopefully things will be better next time. read more

Dave came to my home to give me a bid on replacing my old Heating and Cooling system. My system was 18 years old and Air condition has stop running. He came doing a hot summer day and before he even gave me a bid he wonted to look at the old air conditioner and run a test and worked with it until it started running and started cooling our house. He wanted to help us stay cool while we waited for the new system to be installed. It was a one of nicest thing I had ever experienced in the business situations. read more

I've worked with Dave a couple times on my old furnace, which finally gave out this week. He and Justin spent an entire morning removing the old unit and installing a new furnace. They are kind, honest, and considerate and I couldn't have asked for better service. They even noticed an unrelated danger with punctures in my water heater exhaust and replaced the tubing. It is with great dissappointment that I write this. What was once such a great company, has gone so far downhill. 2 years ago, they did a fabulous install. But now, I can barely get a return phone call. My furnace broke months ago under warranty, and I feel like they're just playing games with me now. Be cautious. read more

Josh came out to do a basic maintenance check up on my A/C unit and I could not have asked for more. He explained everything he was doing, showed me the price list for freeon and even suggested a landscaping idea to make the area around the A/C unit more attractive and prevent dirt from getting in. I will be using the service to check on my furnace in the fall and I will have them back again in the Spring. I have no reason whatsoever to use any other company. read more

We feel like we found the best AC/HEAT man in KC. Had several estimates but did not get that good feeling until Dave Allen came by. We called Dave and Kelly's for an estimate, Dave came 2 days later, felt like we had known him for years. Nice man, clean van, very professional, and even gave our wiener dog some treats. Live in the Northland. My heat pump went out. Called Dave on Saturday morning. He came out, did testing and confirmed the heat pump had grounded out. That afternoon, they installed a new heat pump without delay. Today I am enjoying air conditioning with no problems. They responded quickly, were professional and very polite. I had Dave out to repair my furnace. He was willing to come out on a Saturday morning and didn't charge extra. After doing the repair I had him quote me on installing a new air conditioner. It wasn't the lowest but had the best warranty so I decided to go with him. He showed up on time and completed the job quicker than expected. He also went the extra mile and made sure I had all of the paperwork needed for a rebate from the power company. I would recommend this company to anyone who needed HVAC work done. read more

This is the worst service call experience I have ever had!!! Our air conditioning unit was not reaching the set temperature during really hot days. The technician was rude from the beginning. He called to move my scheduled appointment Time up to an earlier time, which I could not do so he might have been already mad when he got there. He immediately went to the furnace filter and threw a fit because I had not changed the filter before he came. We have an it and accordion style filter which only has to be changed once a year and it had only been six months. He refused to change the filter and got mad because I couldn't do it and told me goodbye lady and left the house. With my filter pulled out of the furnace and the air-conditioner still running! He never went to the air conditioning unit to check it at all. When I suggested he check the Freon he said if it was low on Freon then that means it would be leaking out and we would see it. I called the owner of the company and he told me he had had no complaints before and that it was my word against his word. No apologies or anything offered. I had another company out the next week who told me that I was correct in only changing that style filter one time a year and looked at my unit and determined that it was 10 pounds low on Freon and that debris and dirt had clogged up the ventilation. They added a little Freon and cleaned it out and said it is at top performance and a good unit that should last for years! read more
