Would of given 1 star because I felt like a number as far as the treatment but the office is nice, the staff are professional and the doc is cool. As far as feeling like a number, from the time I saw the doctor, had my initial xray and saw another doctor for the adjustment approx 5 minutes had passed and I was out the door. It was an in and out no individual attention to detail experience and the adjustment was the same adjustment you would get anywhere else. By the way, for that visit my insurance was billed almost 1,000 dollars. That's the least of my issues but come on man. If you are going to bill at that rate at least give your patients an in depth evaluation, take time and address their individual needs, not just the same adjustment everyone gets. I just wish they took the time to help me and focus on my individual problems instead of getting me out the door in under 5 minutes. First visit or not, I was told I was going to get some relief for my neck problems but nothing other than the twist the neck to the side to adjust it and make it crack happened. After that, off the table and out the door. "Next?" That's how it felt so I will stay clear of this spot. I don't care about all of the fancy x ray machines or technology if it does not make me feel any better. read more

After a couple of days of unexplained numbness in my fingers to the point of keeping me awake at night, I made an appointment with Dr Dave. I was really impressed to visit his new office in Redondo! The state of the art equipment and an amazing staff were only part of the pleasant atmosphere in the office. The professionalism and commitment to the concepts of massage and chiropractics was a great experience. Dr. Dave listened to my symptoms, explained the diagnosis and treatment plan, and assured me about a safe recovery. After a couple of visits for adjustments and exercises on the equipment in the office, the numbing has completely subsided. I now understand the cause of the numbness (C6 was pinching the nerves to my fingers) and can do the stretching exercise and schedule adjustment sessions regularly to prevent the problem. Recently, I visited Dr. Dave's office at Good Life Chiropractics for an exam, adjustment, and massage, and had a really terrible experience. I felt like my appointment was rushed and nothing more than a huge sales pitch where they wanted you in and out as fast as possible. The whole thing had a very used-car dealership feel to it, where they'd tell you what you wanted to hear, but never followed through. For example, when I asked Dr. Carry for a copy of my xrays, he quickly told me that a cd would cost $15. When I asked if it could be emailed, he seemed annoyed and told me to give my email address to the receptionist. I was told they'd be sent out on the following monday. When I returned over a week later, I had still had not received them and inquired again only to be given some excuse about how it was about to go out, and that I should expect them later that night. Two weeks later...still no xrays. After my first appointment I also asked about stretches that I could do to improve my neck and shoulder issues and was told that I'd receive paperwork with stretches after my second appointment...why I couldn't receive them that day made no sense but I obliged. Needless to say that I was less than shocked when after my second appointment no such paperwork was ever given to me. As I live over an hour and a half a way, I scheduled my second adjustment and massage back to back to save a trip. However, when I made the trip down, I was told that they had me down for an adjustment, but not a massage. After checking their calendar I was told that they had 'put my massage appointment into the computer' but it never got transferred to the calendar and that all massages were booked for the day meaning I'd have to make another 3 hour roundtrip drive two weeks later. So frustrating. If you're thinking about coming here for chiropractic services, I'd think twice. The massage was decent, but mostly you're not going to feel very valued as a consumer and have to swallow alot of sales pitches and lip service. read more

2 years after my ten year athletic career, I started to feel my lower back pain - sharp nerve pinching and deformation. It always came and went away, thus didnt really jump on it to fix it. I've been treating with Dr. Dave for about 2 months now. I had always been scared to go to the chiropractor but I'm so glad I did and I feel that I lucked out in finding his office. Dr. Dave seems knowledgeable and capable & I trust him to be in his care which is a HUGE thing for me. I don't know how many people work in his office, but the 3 ladies that I have talked to have been super nice & friendly (and very pretty too!) I've never had to wait but a few minutes for an adjustment and am in and out very quickly that I bring my baby and she doesn't have time to even let out a protest at being there. I don't write too many reviews but if I feel like saying something might help someone, then I go ahead and give my opinions and share my experience. With that said - I'd always been a little weary when it came to chiropractors. You'd hear the typical scare stories as you would from any person who thought they had an expert opinion, and granted, they only do this because they are and feel that what they have heard through the or the one article they read is completely accurate. So needless to say I avoided the chiropractor for a very long time because I was scared. That was until I got into a severe accident where I was rear ended at 50mph while completely stopped. I had tremendous headaches and tight and painful shoulders, back and chest. I couldn't stand up straight because I felt as though my chest was compressing me and I couldn't breathe properly. I started going to a physical therapist but that was only about 2 times until she actually recommended a chiropractor because there weren't exactly moving forward, I was really surprised by that recommendation because I always just assumed they didn't agree with the other's practice. She was very nice and said she didn't think that chiropractors did anything wrong, they just had different methods. With her advice I felt it was ok to look for a chiropractor, I found Dr. Dave through Yelp and have continued my recovery through him. Since I started going, my headaches occur far less than what they were and are far less severe. I used to get them multiple times a day and they were so severe that I would have to sleep them off, sometimes even that wasn't enough. They were starting to become a way of life for me, however, when I get a headache now (maybe once every three weeks) I realize just how far I've come with my recovery and what a positive outlook I now have on a full recovery. I can stand up a lot straighter without feeling as though my chest is being compressed and making it difficult for me to breathe. My shoulders are far more relaxed and my back doesn't give out on me like it used to. I have been extremely happy with my decision to try a chiropractic office and am very pleased with the work done here with Dave Carry. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family, that is how confident I am with his work. So if you are contemplating going or not, I say go. You won't be sorry, listen to his advice. Ask questions, he's is always very patient with answering them - I'm not sure a lot of places are like that. He'll give you an idea as to how long recovery will take and he'll recommend a treatment plan designed especially for you and your body. This has improved my quality of life significantly. Just a quick note: I recently went to go see the Broadway show WICKED and was distracted because I had such a severe headache, since I've started treatment I went to go watch Cirque Du Soleil and thoroughly enjoyed the show... coming here was definitely a life changing experience! i always thought "i can crack my own body" but after being told by a friend about the killer groupon deal, I had to try it. ESPECIALLY because it included a 1 hour massage. But after experiencing Dr. Dave Carry's chiropractic skills, im totally sold. Came back again more than a year after being fixed. I was worried since I had new insurance with a different company. Within 10 minutes of my phone call the staff there had checked my new insurance and did a good job at explaining my new benefits. Dr Dave is fantastic! In May I went in with debilitating carpal tunnel - I couldn't use my right hand without being in tears. I have had a great experience with Dr. Carry. I was suffering from pain in my left hip that stopped me from running and was even causing problems walking and sleeping. After the first adjustment I was feeling so much better. The pain was reduced dramatically and it turned out that my hips were out of alignment because one was higher than the other. I didn't even want to go to a back doctor until I was out of options for my chronic pains, so at age 42 I decided it was time to try what I haven't tried yet.. And The result is I wish I would have started years ago. Dr. Dave is great. He's a nice guy too and actually cares about you and your pains and what's going on with you. He and the entire staff always greet you with a smile and do their best to make sure you get the appointment times you need. They're all upbeat and do fun contests and decorate for the holidays. I've been lucky enough to have a few massages from this office as well and that has been good too. I have nerve damage in my elbow and carpal tunnel in my wrist so I started a series of k-laser treatments and they sure have made a huge difference.
