Then, we discovered that the propane wasn't being filled by them so that is why it wouldn't light. After about 2 months of calling them asking for the propane to be filled, they finally sent someone out and filled it. Next, they claimed they couldn't inspect the fireplace without a pressure test of the line. Another 2 months of them no-showing for multiple appointments, they finally came in October and completed the pressure testing and inspection of the fireplace. Afterwards, I was told I needed a part which would be in the next week. After five weeks of not hearing anything, I called them. They told me that they have no record of ever coming out to my house and that they would have to come and do the same thing again. Then, when I told them that they had already been to my house for the service appointment, they told me that they have no record of me being a customer. They then wanted to charge me another insane amount to come out again. I'm finally just done and going to call somewhere else. Apparently these people don't want the business.

Three strikes for Triangle. First experience several years ago was replacing our hot water heater…read more Triangle was certainly not the least expensive option but they were quick to respond. Unfortunately, it required several return calls to get the system functioning. Not long after, our HVAC system needed to be replaced, we once again paid a high price for the system. A few hours after installation, the heater stopped working. One of the parts was defective and we were without heat for the Xmas holidays for more than a week and had to cancel family plans due to extreme cold. This spring our system humidifier was replaced by Triangle. Two months later the unit disconnected due to shoddy installation and flooded our basement while ruining our carpet. Triangle attempted to clean the carpet but some of the stains are permanent. More than 2 and half months after the incident, Triangle has refused to replace the carpeting. We should have learned out lessons, after spending more than $30,000 with Triangle this is "service" we get.

When we experienced biller issues Rabenstein originally was to arrive the next morning but we bit…read morethe bullet and agreed to pay the after hours price (big mistake!) even thought it was 3:30pm tech diagnosed it as a bad blower motor. Luckily they had one at the shop ($1300 which I agreed to pay) but not worries thus far. He wrapped up and moved along... the next day, I was concerned about the pricing and asked a local HVAC distributor about the price on the motor and they priced it at $200.... Seriously? 600 % mark up? Looks at the invoice and realized I was charged for 4 hours... my phone log and cameras show he called when he left his previous job at 3:29pm and left my house at 6:30pm. When I called the office the next day they needed to check on a few things but would call me back. Their response: part was another end model and was therefore more expensive. 6-1/2 times more expensive? I have to admit he did tell me it was expensive. As far as the rake, they informed me that they build door-to-door meaning from when he leaves his last appointment to whenever he either clocks out or goes to his next appointment so I was charging an additional hour for most likely his travel home. Sour grapes? Maybe but do yourself a favor. Get the details of the pricing before you commit to anything.
