Pavilion has a number of picnic tables and trash cans. Adjacent green lawn space can be used for picnicking or chilling. Not enough room to fly a kite, but the beaches are so close, they're much better for that anyway. Sport courts (tennis, basketball, pickle ball) are gorgeously surfaced, and well-netted/-fenced. It was an absolute joy. I would've recommend this to anyone. Even the trails that were rocky that go outback through the woods we did on a street bike no problem. They seem to be very well-maintained trails. At one point you had the super long bridge that goes over a swampy area, which is really cool too. On the way up on the trail, we saw a turtle crossing the trail on the way back. We saw but I assume is the same turtle taking a hole with his back legs. I don't know why I spent my whole life going to the Jersey shore. You drive an extra hour. You could come down here and have a super nice beach that's not packed and the super nice trails that you can bicycle too.

Friendly life guards on duty. Lifeguard Trent was just wonderful to chat with and watch him help others with kindness and care. The Cape May ferry terminal is near and the ferry comes and goes. The Lion's club hosts a stand that rents umbrellas, rafts and other beach gear. They also sell hotdogs, pizza, icees and snacks. I had strawberry-lemon which was refreshingly perfect. Beyond-the-call-of-duty Lifeguard update! These pushy women sat beneath the lifeguard chair and after asking where the rental shack is about 10 times and being told--they said they couldn't walk there (it's not far) to get an umbrella. They whined and whined. Trent took the umbrella down from the lifeguard chair and set it up for them to use!!! So so generous of you Trent! I highly recommend this beach if you're looking for ease. Parking likely easier earlier in the day. I beached til evening!

I understand there is an expense in maintaining pools, and that the owners pay fees, but the $9 per person per day without the ability to pool hop among their many pools if you don't like the one you started in is a bit steep. I think maybe $6 for adults and$3 per kids would be more reasonable, especially since the average stay is around 2 and a half hours. Still, it was clean , the people were pleasant, and my family had a decent time.

He made some adjustments to the gears for my wife, and he helped me change the handle bars and seat to make mine more comfortable. The next day, my wife changed gears and the chain went into the spokes damaging the derailer. I took the bike back to him and he quickly put the bike up on the rack and said "we are going to make this right". I returned about a 1/2 hour later. He readily accepted responsibility, installed a new derailer on the bike, and tuned it up again. They seem to be the only ones who offer this in the area for now and they have a good selection for me otherwise. We played air hockey where one side's outside goal borders a bit flimsy like last year or so but it still works well otherwise. Small arcade but it seems not too populated even on a Saturday night or not this one. The location and size may have to do with why there are not too many people either. They get most of their money from the food experience probably. Maybe bowling and other things that I don't know that they have might do better. There was a live band on Thai Sat evening. Not my kind of music but this more elderly, classy crowd seemed to be enjoying in the festivities a lot. The bathrooms here are clean.
