They have picnic areas although we've not availed ourselves of them. The boat ramp is well-maintained and sometimes we meet our jet ski-owning friends here for a ride across the bay to the Paradise Grill in Long Neck. It's a smaller State park and slightly confusing with the direction's but the staff was helpful just get a map. We camped in a "walk back" section of E. Very spacious sites with the bathroom/shower reasonably close. Parking was "ok"..... but they fill up and then you have to use overflow. The bathrooms/showers were clean BUT I guess I'm used to sites that spray repellent because nature is boss. We drove through the comfort sites of D and they were too tight for my liking. They have yurts and cabins but for me a tad too close. They do have an Island camp site Loved it!!!!! That's a must do. It's 2 sites across a short walking bridge with water view and access. I would definitely go back.

One thing I don't understand is why the Park Maintenance people don't cut the Wisteria growth on the trees? Some trees have vines over two inches in diameter. This stuff will choke a tree to death over time! Great walk ... very pretty sights. Fall colors will make it a much nicer walk!

My friend group with little ones brought our little families together and rented an airbnb for the holiday week which came with full access to the community amenities including this club. It was the Friday of July 4th weekend when we decided to head to the very crowded pool on a very hot day. We fortunately were able to get in although it was previously at capacity a few minutes prior but our little swimmers had a ball and so did we. They also had a kids splash pad on the other end of the pool in which we spent 3 hours after an hour in the pool and our little ones and ourselves had no idea time flew so quickly. So I guess the saying on time flying when you're having fun is accurate. The only drawback for the adults was the limited food options at the food stand. We found food but the options were very limited and we didn't have a quick option to anything else for lunch time. All in all a great vacay with our group of littles!

The entire deck area was rehabbed and replaced in 2010, so the whole place is looking fresher. Bathrooms and locker rooms are pretty much the same they have been for ~20 years. Com early to enjoy the pool itself, it gets very, very crowded late in the day and on weekends.

In addition to multiple childrens play areas, there is a large HUGE pavilion for concerts and parties. Every Thursday during the warm weather, free concerts are held there. The playgrounds are seperate and graduated by age group (baby, preschooler and grade schooler). There are over 40 acres of woodland to explore, in addition to a boat slip that lets you access the canals of the Pines. All in all, this a great, shady (TONS of Pine trees) Park in Ocean Pines.

With that being said, the guy that works here is an absolute miserable person. To explain, I went to pick up a scorecard and he flipped out. He yelled and said that "he was the only one allowed to touch the scorecards". This is a mini golf course, not the Masters. Furthermore, he wouldn't let you pick your own club so my club was way too short for me. On top of that, he let way too many people on the course at once and it was impossible to move. It took almost two hours to finish the course. Also, when I was in the middle of a hole, the guy came out with leaf blower and was holding everyone up. Just an unbelievable experience. In the same manner, the course itself was not good. To clarify, the course was extremely hilly and the greens were uneven. The golf balls would just roll by themselves. In addition, the course was only designed for right handed players. There were several holes where you couldn't even hit as a lefty due to trees and bushes. It was simply a poorly designed course. In all, Shell We Golf is one of the worst mini golf courses that I've ever played due to poor design and rude employees.
