I didn't know if I needed to make an appointment or if I could just walk in but I decided what the hell? I entered this very clean and well organized office and was promptly greeted by an older woman who made me feel right at home. I informed her I was interested in getting a quote for my auto and home. The woman walked me over to another gal, Shirley, who politely introduced herself and was more than willing to put together some pricing for me upon my arrival. I thought, for sure, I would have to run home to get her some more info but with today's technology, I was able to pull up my current coverage right on my phone and give her some info so she could compare apples to apples. We went through our auto policies, my home owners policy and I let her give me a quote for life insurance, as well. Shirley and I found that we both use Yelp and started talking about different spots the other one needs to try. We had a nice meeting and she informed me they are collecting Toys for Tots in their office. That made me pretty happy to see! I left feeling like I knew a little more about my current policies as well as more knowledge about my insurance options than I ever knew before. Shirley answered all of my questions and explained things in a manner I could actually understand. They're quotes were better than what we're currently paying and after years of working with an insurance agent I have never even met in person, I definitely want to do business with this State Farm agent and his friendly and helpful staff. Looking forward to making the change over, dealing with some incredibly nice people and meeting Scott in person. Check these guys out and ask for Shirley...she's awesome and knows her stuff!

I called and emailed over and over, and they never got back to me, almost causing me to lose the mortgage! Luckily, I was able to find a competent agency last-minute to save the mortgage. Even worse, they never canceled my condo insurance, which I just found out several months later! They cost me tons of money! Get insurance literally anywhere else. They will end up costing you way more in the long run!

By default, I was with Forest for a long time.. I was on my parents' plan (back when they went by…read moreanother name) and as an adult stayed with Forest. My parents left forest awhile ago. They were unsatisfied with how much they were paying and their rude agent. I had little, but generally very pleasant interactions with my agent until recently. When I needed to drop my ex and his car off of my plan, they would not help me. My ex would not sign the documents needed to get off of the plan and Forest said there was nothing they could do. Not their fault, I agree. But curious, I inquired with another company. According to my new agent (Country) there are ways around this situation but they were not willing to help me. I assume this is because I wasn't worth their time, with my small insurance plans. So I stopped paying for my car coverage and was dropped from the plan. Not an issue, we all move on, right? Wrong. After I canceled my Home insurance, and submitted my Quit Claim Deed to show that my ex no longer owned my home, Forest sent me my refund check with his name on it! I assume this was to intentionally cause me more headache, luckily, I was able to cash the check with ease and deposit it back into my escrow account. Truth be told, I have much more coverage needs coming soon and I am absolutely ecstatic that it won't be through Forest Agency.

I'm done with this place. Ed has been my insurance agent for car and rental insurance for over two…read moreyears now, but his son Kevin who seems to handle all my claims is beyond incompetent. In the last few months I've had two very major issues with them: 1) A car insurance claim for an accident. I told Kevin about it and we were the ones that filed a police report. I even scanned a letter in from the other party's insurance that asked us to take action and admit fault, which I was not about to do. Kevin acknowledges receipt and says he'll take care of it. Weeks pass and I get a knock on the door at 8am from a court officer handing me a letter saying I'm due to appear in court in a two weeks. If I didn't show, there'd be a default judgement against me. Again, I forward this to Kevin and he says he'll take care of it and that I don't have to show up to court. It's now one day before my court date and I've heard nothing. I call the State Farm claim office and they say they have nothing from Kevin or that office and that this is a very serious issue. They apologize profusely, contact me numerous times via phone and e-mail that day, and take care of the issue by having the court appearance dismissed. Awesome. Kevin? Not so awesome. But, being the moron I am, I decide to retain them as my local agent. 2) I buy a new house a couple months ago and ask for home insurance. After moving in, we get an e-mail (you'll never guess from who) asking for a picture of our shared, detached garage with no ivy on it. We say we don't have such a picture, because, you know, there's ivy on the garage. We also tell them it is shared property and we can't just have work like that done immediately. The owner of the other half has to be contacted, approve of the work, and pay for half. They don't reply. A few weeks later, on a Friday afternoon, the asshole decides to email again demanding a picture of the garage without ivy by Monday (doesn't such an immediate need also typically require a phone call?). That's all. Nothing listing any consequences or anything. We say, again, that it's not possible for the work to take place so fast. Again, a few weeks later, we get a letter in the mail saying our home insurance has been cancelled due to the ivy on the garage. W. T. F. Hey, Kevin, thanks for a heads up. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. The day I got this letter I began the process of moving over my insurance to Roni Siegel. She has good Yelp reviews and her agents have been very kind and helpful so far. If it weren't for State Farm's wonderful central claims center, there's no way I'd still be a customer with them either.

I ultimately went with another state farm agent because I couldn't get the information I needed to start a policy to close on my condo. It has come to the point where I feel like part of the office's family because that's how they make me feel. I have multiple products with them therefore I have loads of questions.
