However, after leaving me with no insurance coverage and NOT informing me that they didn't start my renewal, I cannot risk losing myself or my clients their homes due to bad business. This wasn't a non-renewal like we are seeing in CA, by the way, this was just not paying attention by an insurance broker.

We were sincerely hopeful that we had found a great insurance provider that we could stay with and not have to deal with the headache of requesting quotes and comparing insurances on a year-to-year basis. Fast forward a year and we receive our renewal notice and our premium has jumped up over 100% from our previous renewal. When I looked into the coverage, it looked like coverage for a pool had been added to our plan mistakenly. No worries, these things happen, so we reached out and noted the error and requested an updated quote so we could renew. That was over a month ago. First, we were told our policy was adjusted to show that we do not have a pool, but we had to forward a picture of our backyard showing no pool to have the underwriter approve the request. After we provided the photos of our backyard, we were then requested to send a picture of the front of our house so the underwriters could confirm the address. We were told we would get the policy updated in 48-72 hours after that. That was on April 9th. We followed up on a weekly basis and kept getting the run-around. On April 22nd we were told 'I have you calendared for tomorrow to follow up with them. I will let you know the outcome'. We had to reach out again at night the next day because we never heard back. Two days after we reached out, we were notified underwriting didn't see the picture that they had uploaded so they had to send it again and was told that they should have it resolved the next day. Fast forward to today - it's the end of the business day and once again we have not heard any update. Our policy is about to lapse in a week because this saga has been going on for a month. I have since reached out to other insurance providers and have gotten multiple quotes with quick responses from the agents and was able to secure a new policy for the same price as our premium from last year. (over 50% off what Farmers offered us this year, granted it seems like we'll never know what our actual premium should have been without the pool since we still have not received an updated quote to-date). I understand that things happen and sometimes it takes a little longer to get back to people but the communication was consistently abysmal and this entire experience has been frustrating. 2 stars because we had a great start, but I guess once we signed up, we were no longer valued customers.

They lack in so many levels that it can't even be described on yelp. For starter, I had to tow my car and turned in out of pocket receipt for reimbursement to Allstate. I was asked to send them a copy of the receipt via email. Weeks would go by and I did not received any respond from Rose. I'd call their office and Jawad would answer the phone. It was then I found out Rose went on a vacation and that she'll handle my reimbursement when she returns. I was so puzzled and struggling to understand why can't Jawad just take care of it himself. I've waited this long and not sure why he needs for me to wait until she returned? It took almost 3 months to received the reimbursement. Second incident, I sold two of my cars and bought a new car. It literally took this agency a week to make it happen. Why? I am struggling to understand their lack of urgency. I am completely fed up with them. I've been trying to cancel my policy with them and guess what? No respond from them what so ever! They don't call you back. When you call them, they are not there. When you finally get a hold of anyone there, nothing gets resolved. It's so annoying. It almost seem like they are a scammer. Please be smart and do your homework. I promise you there are plenty of insurance agency that will provide a better customer care than these folks. I just can't believe I've used them for over 6 months. I am extremely disappointed in what Jawad represents Allstate brand. Prior to having Jawad as my agent, I've been a loyal Allstate for over 22 years. I have now completely switched to a different insurance company altogether.

Over the decades I've watched as it's become more corporate, further from the customer, and more reliant on computer generated messages and solutions. When this office overcharged me for six months, for a car that was no longer on my policy, I asked for reimbursement. I got about a third of what they mistakenly charged me, but even after half a dozen phone calls - two from Corporate, all they could do was assure me that I should just relax and trust their computers. I think this company needs to reinvest itself in personal relationships with their customers. Whether someone has been a loyal customer for 60-plus years or six months; there is no excuse for hiding behind the corporate Rules of the Road. For me it's too late. I'm deeply offended at the dance I've had to do this past month or so. I don't recommend Allstate. I doubt I ever will. I grew up in a work environment that strongly suggested the customer is always right. In this case I felt in the right. It was just so damn offensive to repeatedly be told to trust their computers, that the computers were always right ... So long Allstate. Hello AAA.
