Recently my wife's grandparents toon their 2014 Honda Accord to Jeffcoats automotive for a ticking…read morenoise they had noticed coming from the engine bay. They were told that it was a timing belt or timing chain which the 2014 is a timing chain. They said the job would be around $4,000 to complete. They took the car to Honda to get a second opinion and it turns out that the recent oil change that took place at a local Tolsdorf had been the issue, the oil plug hadn't been screwed in all the way and it was leaking oil. What a sad display of honesty and horrible inspection for Jeffcoats and company in which they frequently take their cars to for service. This isn't the first time either, I personally had a Toyota that I had taken there and I ran into a similar issue that turned out to be a $4 fix I was able to repair myself. Highly disappointed!
