I had two problems that prompted me to drop into Campanella's: 1) an air-leaking front tire that I had to be inflated over and over due to an inserted nail (unbeknownst to me), and 2) two relatively new front tires that slid too easily on a damp road--whether pulling out (quickly or not) into traffic or braking. (And those formerly-installed two front tires were newly bought from another dealership which chose them for their "quality" a few months ago.) I was very uncomfortable with the spinning and sliding of these two tires and asked Campanella to research the best skid-proof and most-quiet tire (based on objective research) in order to replace them. They did, and I soon tested their non-skid performance via a wet road when it came to grip; the result: an emergency-like firm, non-sliding stop and a fast-forward/take-off grip on both a wet and dry road surface. They also passed my test for being quiet. On top of all this, although I was a drop-in customer, the service time was quite quick! And, unexpectedly, they scanned all four tires and discovered that a nail had penetrated another tire, making it into the interior, but, amazingly, was not causing an air leak. read more

Dropped my truck off to have new tires installed. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly and offered a shuttle to pick me up at no charge once my vehicle was done. All in all, great experience with them. Will definitely return for additional work. read more

They tricked me into thinking they weren't the salesy types. I originally had a flat tire that couldn't be patched. No problem. A few weeks later I ran over a nail in my other car and needed a patch. They said it was complimentary. I thought that was great so I asked them to do an oil change on my car that might be worth $4500. After I dropped it off, I got a call while I was volunteering and just figured they were calling to tell me it was done so I stopped by. They told me I need $4800 worth of work on my car. If you go to the shop THEY WILL tell you that you need a new axel or pollen filter at an exorbitant price. Avoid unless you want to be upcharged and have your anxiety driven up about your car that is probably fine. I'm never ever going to use them again. read more

Tariq understood my emergency since I received a full system failure warning and accommodated me the day after I called. A full diagnostics was performed. the battery was replaced and other necessary things were completed. They have a complementary shuttle service so I didn't have to wait. A driver took me home and picked me up when the service was complete. I received a prioritized list of a series of issues that I plan to have resolved over the next several months as well as my PA inspection when the time comes. I'm a completely satisfied and impressed customer who will return for future serve and will be recommending Campanella to family and friends!!! read more

I have used the pike creek and Hockessin location many times. I find them to be honest and reliable. In my last visit I expected to replace brakes based on a previous recommendation but they recommended otherwise. They very easily could have taken advantage of that since I was expecting it. Will be back. Auto repair is never cheap but I didn't feel they are unreasonable in their price. read more

Was having difficulty with a low pressure tire that required air every 3-4 days, felt unsafe to drive. Campanella's were open, busy , responsive and working a full day. They assessed my tire and repaired a leak beyond a plug repair for a reasonable price while I waited. Untrustworthy! 1st experience: needed windshield wipers on the driver side. I bought a Michelin windshield from Costco's and put it on myself but it was still leaving streaks on my windshield. I decided to bring it to Paul Campanella's shop. They kept pushing for me to get all 3 wipers even though I felt like it was unnecessary at the time. I gave in. When they replaced it, I realize that I have forgotten to take the slip off my Costco's windshield blade. Instead of telling me that that was the problem, they continued to just replaced the wipers. Whatever... my stupidity that cost me $63. 2nd experience: kept getting a slow leak with my back left tire. Needed an oil change too so I decided to give them a second chance since I was pretty desperate. They told me things that I needed to get done (in order to be safe), including my back window windshield wiper. WAIT! WHAT? Wasn't that replaced within the past 2 months? I told them NO but he kept on pushing. Things that also needed to get replaced: 1. Tires (some name I've never even heard of) with install $1000 - $1050 2. Oil change, cabin filters & oil filter, back windshield wipers which will cost me approximately $350 3. Number 2 minus windshield wipers will be around $300 Everything came up less than $300 for Number 3 but I did get ripped off. Wait! They did put a plug in where the nail was for FREE. I did get charged for the "shop supply" of $19.04, plus $3.27 for nail removal, in addition to other things. Before you agree to what they're going to do, please read everything carefully times a gazillion. Do not recommend & will not return. read more

These guys have really turned the old Goodyear place around. It was a dump before now top notch. They pick your car up and bring it back. They don't even charge you for lower level services like fixing flats and rotating tires. You don't see that much these days. Great guys!! read more

I have a 2012 Rav4. Previously on a visit I put 2,000 into it for repairs. Took it back for an oil change 2 months later and they told me I needed to have the radiator flushed and that would be 500. Couldn't believe this so I took it to the Toyota dealership. They told me all I needed was and oil change and tire rotation which cost 89.00. I advise anyone using these rip-off artist to get a second a opinion before letting them touch your car. Not to mention them tying up your car for 6 hours just for an oil change. read more

Spare tire wasn't holding air so Jake told me to drop it off and they would fit it in during the work day to repair it. Noticed tire was bad and got a replacement delivered and mounted. Excellent service and clean shop. Highly recommend for auto service. read more

Had an 8 AM appointment and dropped my vehicle off the night before didn't receive the inspection until 12 o'clock the next day then I had to call them to follow up with the results of the inspection. They quoted me $14,000 worth of repairs on a 20 year year-old vehicle and it was just there for the alignment, I said just go ahead with the alignment and oil change. I had to call them again 4 o'clock in the evening to see if it'll be ready to pick up before the end of the day and they said it would be ready when I got there at five they were still working on it up on the lift and had to wait for 15 minutes for them to finish , drove it to work the next day. The alignment wasn't right and it was pulling to the right and when they had done the oil change, someone spilled oil all over my engine cover so so much that there were pools of it around my spark plug covers And the advisor assured me that that was from my valve cover leak there's no way that much oil was coming out of the valve cover gaskets and they were dry before I dropped it off there and it was clean brand new oil. They did get the alignment correct on the second visit and cleaned the oil off. altogetherp for a company that praises customer service and mechanical experience. It was a horrible experience for me as a customer definitely won't be coming back. read more

Do not take your vehicle here. Took our SUV here to get a licence plate light fixed (needed wiring). Charged +$200 for a diagnostic and to complete the work. Drove down the street and discovered the speakers were suddenly blown and not working. Turned around to tell them to fix it. ZERO accountability, responsibility...no manager to speak of, nothing. I asked to have a tool box put on my truck, the Guys did a great job and were so friendly they put it on for me outside when the shop was closed! They didn't even have a garage to work in but got the work done for me ASAP! Great experience and I will definitely be back! read more
