Had a wonderful experience as first time customers at K&T for a car inspection. Staff is extremely pleasant and accommodating, and it was quick and easy to make an appointment over the phone with Mike. When we arrived for our inspection at 8:30, our car was taken promptly and the inspection did not take too long either. Very clean waiting area with coffee and other drinks, and the receptionist even offered for us to watch TV while we waited. $20 for the inspection and $9 for the sticker - can't beat that! highly disappointed. Recommended by a dealership, so I expected great service. Was told they couldn't repair the car because they needed a part. Set up appointment for 10 days later to accommodate their schedule; dropped the car off the night before the scheduled appointment and get a call in the morning saying "part isn't in until this afternoon". (Did they even order the part!?! Can't imagine it takes 10 business days to get a part from a dealer) When asked when the next available day to repair the car I was given another two weeks out! When I gently reminded him this would be 4 weeks without air the comment was "just think what we did before cars had air!" Really!?!? If they didn't want or need my business today I would have rather been told upfront instead of rearranging schedules to get the car there first thing and wasting 2 weeks when another garage would surely have done the work read more

License plate was switched with one from a stolen car as told to me from the policeman that PULLED ME OVER to arrest ME. Engine, transmission AND timing belt were destroyed at this establishment: Had to have ALL THREE replaced at another mechanic WHO KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. No responsibility was taken by this business financially or otherwise. There was NO OFFER TO rectify the problem. Since it was my first time to K&T automotive and because there aren't many reviews out there yet for this garage due to the fact that it's still relatively new, I was taking a bit of a risk going here. I wasn't disappointed! I came to K&T Automotive for a state inspection and emissions test. When I walked in, I was courteously greeted. I told them I was there for my appointment and handed them my keys. They went right to work and were extremely efficient and quick. They have a small area where you can wait. They offered me coffee and other beverages and even had out some small snacks. There was also a TV in the waiting area and I was told where the remote was if I wanted to watch a different channel. Prices for state inspections were clearly indicated on the wall and there were no surprises or hidden charges. Overall, I was extremely happy with K&T automotive. The courteous staff and quick service were a huge plus. I will surely come back here. read more

The most honest car repair guys that I have dealt with in a long, long time. It is fantastic to have a mechanic that you can trust. Recently, I had a nail in my tire and they plugged and patched my tire for free. Then a week later a flange on the exhaust of my wife's car rusted. The choice was to come up with a repair or replace the entire exhaust system ($1200). The guys at K&T repaired it effectively and only charged 1 hour labor ($80). Being new to the area, it's always a challenge to find good mechanics who charge fairly. I just discovered good mechanics, at K & T Automotive! I brought my old pick up truck in for an oil change, as well as a new, not so good, noise coming from under the hood. They asked me specific questions to trouble shoot the problem, warned me that it may be something serrious, but when they called on the phone, they had discovered that it was something a lot less serious, and they had already located the part. The job was done by the end of the day, and reasonably priced. Friendly, professional and prompt. Not to mention, they fixed the problem. I am extremely pleased with the service, and have scheduled an additional apointment, to take care of some other lingering issues. I highly recommend them. read more
