Being from CA I can't find tenderloin sandwiches. Last year I came to Dave's almost every week for their tenderloin sandwich. Last week I went and ordered a breaded tenderloin, loaded fries, hamburger, and chicken strips. Everything was over cooked. The styrofoam container containing the chicken strips melted into the strips. Hamburger was dry. Tenderloin and fries were very dark and over cooked. I thought I'd give them another chance because ... well they used to be so good! Today's tenderloin was grisly and tasteless. I won't be back again. Which kind of makes me sad. read more

Move as fast as swamp water. The wash is outdated. Too expensive. Just go to Crew Carwash. This place sucks.

I use this car wash pretty often because it is right next door to my work place. I went there the day before Thanksgiving and that they were extremely busy. They do a pretty good job of cleaning the vehicle and then somebody wipes off the vehicle at the end as there are still a lot of water droplets on it. It does a good job of getting the major part of the grime off but there are still spots that are dirty once you go through. Could just be that I have a big truck and it just doesn't hit everywhere. I always choose the Total Care option it is $18. They also have a cafe that serves sandwiches, sides, and drinks. I have never tried the cafe so I don't know how good the food is. They also have a building where they do oil changes. read more

We ate at Dave's for the fourth time a couple of days ago. And, we decided to get a car wash while we were there. Again this time, the tenderloin sandwich was the best I've had anywhere. Hand breaded right there. The onion rings were hAnd made there too and were delicious. The car got washed outside and thoroughly cleaned on the inside for $35. This place is terrific. read more

I was told about this place from a co-worker on a project nearby. Places like this really interest me plus it's nice to try something new for lunch! The cafe is small and the menu has a few items. I tried the Dave double and it was okay. Some onion rings on top of that as well. The milk shake was not stellar but everything else is ok. It's worth a stop for a quick lunch. Hamburgers have changed since the last time I was there. They used to be juicy, a little crispy andit defined shape. This time our burgers were perfectly shaped (like frozen patties come), dry and flavorless. And the sidewinder have changed too. Now they are just potato wedges. This place used to be the best burger around. Now, since they changed it, it's no better than McDonalds. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Really a shame. Extremely disappointed and won't go back. And if they say nothing has changed, they're wrong. read more

Not a terrible experience, but an---interesting experience. We'd heard about the cafe', and I had a hankerin' for a breaded tenderloin, so made the drive to Greenfield to try this one that I'd heard a lot about. We called our order in on the way, and found the cafe/car wash. There was a sign for curbside pickup, but it just kind of seemed to point to nowhere--we weren't sure what to do. A couple of employees caught our eye, but then just went on their way without any direction. Finally, another customer asked if we were there to pick up food, and directed into the bay in the garage. It's obvious that they're used to regulars, but first time visitors might be a little confused as to how it works. My wife and I both ordered breaded tenderloins. The price was reasonable, about 15 bucks for two tenderloins with fries as our side. The tenderloin was OK. Not stellar, but not bad. Certainly not a fritter, and if I were in the area I'd order it again. There were a couple of problems, though. After picking up our order and finding a place in a nearby parking lot to eat, we opened our containers, and the requested condiments were not there, nor were napkins or plasticware supplied. In addition, my order of fries were cold, limp and soggy. All in alll---a pretty disappointing experience. I"ll certainly give them another try as things go to a new normal and update my review if needed. read more

Ok, I know what you are going to say, "but it's a car wash". I know!!!! Crazy but they have pretty good food. My husband and I had heard from quite a few people that Dave's had awesome tenderloins. So on a lazy day neither of us felt like cooking or going out we grabbed to go boxes full of fries, tenderloins and a few other goodies from Dave's and ate at home. It was surprisingly good. The tenderloins were pretty big and meaty and definitely worth the price. The crinkle cut fries came in an abundance and were fresh and hot. Next time we go we will eat there and get my truck cleaned as well. read more

One of the best kept secrets in Greenfield! This tiny cafe has one of the best tenderloin sandwiches in the state! It is big but not too big. Juicy but not greasy. My wife and I enjoy coming to Dave's car wash often. I believe they are under new management and they are doing wonderfully. We get our cars cleaned inside and out often. We have four huskies and our last wash the manager was very transparent on how much hair they may or may not get out. He did inform us they have detailing services available if we ever wanted that option. We are never expecting all the hair to be removed but they did an amazing job regardless. I enjoy the snack bar addition to the car wash. We always come with an appetite knowing we will grabbing something new to try on the menu even though i am a big chicken tenders fan. I bring an ipad or computer to get some work done inside or outside on the tables while im waiting. Overall, i enjoy supporting locally owned businesses. read more

You might just drive past Dave's if you didn't know where it was. It's on the end of their car care complex (an oil change setup, as well as a small diner) and isn't overly marked. The cost of a basic wash is better than many places and the crew take the time to prep your car prior to running you through. When you finish up they give your vehicle a quick wipe down and you're out. Well worth the affordable price! read more

Had heard from my parents who grew up here in Greenfield about "The Zooper" pork tenderloin sandwich that the bowling alley served so, being in the area, I made it my goal to try this sandwich. Apparently the bowling alley (new location) no longer serves the fabled sandwich but Zooper fans will be happy to know that this car wash has obtained the recipe and is still serving it! I headed to the car wash to find (much to my surprise) a small, well kept restaurant operating inside the location! The food is all very well priced. The Zooper, or "Dave's Zooper" as it's advertised is only $5.60 and it seems everything is made to order. Wait wasn't long and the quality is good. Was it the best sandwich I've ever eaten? No, but was it a darn good one, especially for the price and it being served out of a car wash restaurant? You bet! I would recommend adding pickles, ketchup, and/or mayo to make it even better. read more

Very difficult to end unlimited monthly car wash. I paid for 5 months and didn't get a single car wash because I didn't have the number from the sticker on my old car. Pull in because I have until the 19th that it will finally be terminated and can't get my car washed because it's not the vehicle I set up the subscription with originally and I can not transfer it to my new vehicle. You would think since I have paid $200 for 0 car washes I would be able to get at least one toward the end of my subscription. Thought I was doing the right thing supporting a local small business but apparently this is the wrong one to support. Luckily crew carwash is new in town and they probably won't scratch your wheels! read more

Went through this car wash in my black Cadillac after having it sit all weekend in a garage. When I was at the drying station a employee informed me that a part of another car was hanging from my vehicle. It appeared too be a bright red back bumper off of another vehicle had came off and lodged its self through my front bumper and was hanging off of my car. So I stopped and talked too a manager and she had informed me that she had seen me pull in and the damage on my car had clearly taken place while I was in the wash so I gave my contact info and waited for a call from the owner, after three days of no contact I received a call from the owner informing me that it had come from another vehicle that had went before me and I would have too contact the other customer they do not claim responsibility for that. So I would not recommend going here unless you are okay with paying for all damage done out of pocket on your car or have great insurance because you will get no help from this business. read more

This is a review for the grill/cafe inside the carwash. We called our order ahead and even paid for it over the phone. The man taking our order was good. Was given a 15 minute wait time. It was done when we picked up. Our order was one single burger with cheese, the burger includes pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo, they are very generous with there toppings,and a side of potato winders. Then my husband got the triple burger plain with french fries. All the food was delicious and fresh. I did need to add salt to fries and side winders. Will be going back! read more

New to the Greenfield area, had to get the car washed and interior vacuumed quickly for an evening event. So I found this place when I did a search. So a friend and I went, paid for the classic wash and interior. Total cost was $24. And we visited the grill there on site while we waited for the interior to be cleaned. Once it was done, we left. I did not take the time to inspect my entire vehicle, trusting that they cleaned the entire inside since I paid for it to be done. But I did notice immediately, that they only wiped down half the dash, the driver side was still very dusty and the passenger side was clean. Then, that evening, when my husband went to put something in the pack part, we discovered that they didn't even touch the back part at all !!!!. There was still debris from when I had previously brought home plants. So I feel like I wasted the $12 I spent extra to have them clean out the interior!!! Granted, you get what you pay for, but I feel like I didn't even get what I paid for. A five year old could have done a better job! I won't go back. I will find some place else to wash my car and do the interior. Even if it means I have to pay a little more and drive a little further. Not a good impression for someone new to the area! read more
