I won't go into the details but after the last visit to the dealer I won't be going back there again. Now I had to find a reliable repair shop. I used to do oil changes and the like myself but my days of rolling around on the garage floor are long gone. I had a coupon so I made an appointment at a major chain for Monday morning. That turned out to be a total waste of time, literally. I sat in the waiting room for 90 minutes while my car sat in the same space I parked it in when I got there. I finally gave up and left. Needless to say, I won't be going back there again either. So, I decided to try Bob's, the local repair shop right here in Lawrenceville. I had a couple of flat tires repaired at Bob's over the years and I don't know why I didn't just go there in the first place! Maybe because my wife suggested it and I hate it when she's always right! :( :D I stopped in to Bob's on the way home that same morning and we made an appointment for Wednesday morning. I brought my car in on time and went home to have breakfast. I got a call a little over an hour later saying my car was ready and headed back over to Bob's. The oil change was done right, all the fluids were checked and topped off, and I didn't have to wait all day. Bob's price was very fair, I didn't need a coupon, and the convenience was priceless! Bob and Wayne were friendly and professional. My car is running great! I'll be bringing my car back to Bob's again the next time I need service or repairs.

I have been coming here for the last three years: for oil changes, diagnostic checks, replacing…read moreheadlights, fixing other wear and tear issues with my 11 year old Honda. They've always been so friendly, helpful, explained everything to me before proceeding with service and never been pushy or tried to nickel and dime me. I went to a different auto repair place nearer to my new home to address an issue for me, and after that my car was super noisy and the hood of my car was not fully closer. I brought it to this Midas location and they figured out the air box was left unclosed. I trust them and will keep returning, even if not the closest auto repair place to me! Dax has always been great and so has Chris (Dax is now managing some other locations and sadly Chris is moving to a different work place)

When i was called back i was told the inspection would be 400 dollars in labor and 1400 for the new ignition cylinder. When i declined the service since i figured it was overpriced my car was returned in the state below, i now have to do additional work since midas reinstalled my wheel wrong with the airbag cord BEHIND the wheel entirely now causing a new light on my dash to pop up even after I had the wiring fixed. When i told the manager, Tom, about these issues i was having he ran into his office with Dante ,who worked on my car and i was unable to get in contact with them for days after this took place. I usually only leave reviews on places i enjoy going to but if you want to avoid being scammed i would not go here. I was only refunded 140 for the scratched part and was not offered for it to be fixed or by someone other than the original person who damaged my vehicle.

Dishonest Auto Repair Shop - Overcharged and Poor Communication…read more I had a frustrating experience with this auto repair shop. After the service, I asked for a receipt and was told it would be emailed. A day later, I still hadn't received anything, so I sent a follow-up email--no response. I had to drive all the way back just to get my receipt. When I finally got it, the receipt was vague and unprofessional. It didn't break down the cost of parts and labor--instead, everything was lumped together. They charged me $100 to replace an engine oil drain plug cap and "diagnose" the issue. I looked up the part on the dealership's website--it costs just $12. You do the math. This kind of lack of transparency and excessive pricing is unacceptable. I wouldn't trust them again. And I just realized the receipt had actually been created that same day ( the day I drove back)---meaning they didn't even prepare it after my service like they said. That's incredibly dishonest.

Prices better than other places in the area. And they often get things done the same day. Like most auto shops, they have a waiting area with a few chairs to sit and work. Plugs available if you have a laptop. Can also walk to the strip mall next door in three minutes while waiting; many places there to sit, eat, and get groceries.
