I love my Mazda CX-9 and one of the reasons I bought it was the premium Crystal Soul Red finish. Just beautiful. Did I mention the car is still new? So I hit a concrete column in a Princeton parking garage. Right into the passenger side front door. Crushed it. I wanted to make sure whoever did the repair did not botch this trick, three-part paint job. So I asked the Mazda dealer for a recommendation. They recommended Rico's and said that is where they send their work. They can handle the finish work. I'm glad they did. Rico's was super easy to work with. Debbie told me it was going to take a while to get the parts... and it did. But once they got the new door skin, Debbie told me how long the repair would take and they delivered. When my car had a front end collision, I asked around for what auto body shop to use. Ten people on Facebook responded with Rico's, and two friends also recommended them. They did an absolutely fantastic job replacing my bumper cover, grill, lights and hood, and fixing the front fenders. The paint is spot on and matches exactly. They worked with my insurance company every step of the way, and kept me in the loop about everything that was going on with the car. It took three weeks from start to finish and that was fine as I had a rental. Debbie and T in the office are great - they are very customer service focused and communicated well everything that was going on. It's not necessarily a service you want to have to use, but when you need them - this is the place to go! They are a family owned local business and it's easy to see why they do so well. Rico's just did a 10 year old Jeep Commander and the paint looks brand new. The hood was rusted through and they showed my how it was on both sides, but instead of spending more than a thousand dollars to replace it, they fixed and now it looks great. If you have a difficult color to match this is the place, I can't tell where it was repainted and where the original paint is.....and remember this is a 10 year old car. read more

Horrible!!! I have never written a review about any business before but this place has been the worst experience, lack of quality and worst customer service I have ever experienced. My 2017 mazda CX9 was there for a repair to the front and rear passenger door and they took months to get the parts, after the repair was completed we noticed that the rear seat was ripped or chewed apart on a newly leased car. They gave us every excuse possible from blaming our own dog, to the "black guy" as he discribed in the shop, to a raccoon. Finally he admitted that it was probably their dog that lives in the shop yard and agreed to repair the seat. Then they told us getting the seat cover would take 3 months because it had to come from China so we have to deal with a ripped apart rear seat of a newly leased vehicle until then. It took 4 months. The vehicle is a 3 year lease, driving around in was looks like a piece of crap inside for 4 months is unacceptable especially when he was still implementing it may have been our dog but didn't want a bad review so he would pay to fix it. After the seat was supposedly repaired the fender trim that was part of the original repair flew off while driving and they refused to repair and argued, insulted, and screamed at us on the phone to the point my wife was in tears. Finally a few weeks later I noticed the rear seat was not repaired correctly and was hanging at the seams, and the child restraint for a baby seat was glued in which is absolutely the worst part of all of this.(We have a 5 yearold) after another argument he agreed to repair the seat and child seat anchor, and continued to tell us they ordered the parts but months later still nothing. Horrible people, con artist and the worst workmanship I have ever seen. If you decide to go there.... Good Luck!! ! read more

My girlfriend took her car here after an accident. The paint came out fair but the door skin was not bonded to the frame and it gave a hollow sound when you close it very annoying and you can instantly tell the car was in an accident. I spoke to the owner and he was giving me a hard time saying he does not hear anything. its currently their now I will update if they fix it correctly Update: this repair shop failed to repair frame damage and then blamed it on other damage. Rico's did some custom paint work for me on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler. I was using Auto Body by Duie before going to Rico, and Rico's blew them out of the water - it wasn't even close. Rico's work is above and beyond in quality and they take the time and effort to make it as best as possible. Rico also recommended certain products over others and I cannot be happier. Best work around and very reasonable pricing, especially for the work that you are getting for the price being paid - it cannot be beat. My family and I have been using Rico's since probably the late 1980s. I had my first car painted there and they did an excellent job. Throughout the years my family has had at least 3 cars fully painted there, and various dings and dent repairs done as well. Most recently it was shopping cart damage to my SUV. Whenever I have a major or minor issue, I go to Rico's. Not sure if Rico himself still works full time, but he was always great to talk to and he ran an operation that obviously had to make money, but was not out to nickel and dime you. There are few honest automotive businesses left in Yardville, or anywhere for that matter, and Rico's (and Lakeside Shell) are two of them. read more

Recently I was referred to Rico's Auto Body Shop as they were HIGHLY RECOMMENDED from a friend. I brought our suv to Rico's and was greeted by Debbie. I was relieved to find out that we did NOT need to repaint as I had been told by others. They buffed out the scratches and got it cleaned up so well that you can barely see a mark on the corner of the bumper. They are absolutely awesome over there. We are thrilled.
