I went to get my eyelash extensions. 1. The lady doing my eyelashes kept arguing and yelling at another worker there and kept stopping whiling doing my lashes. 2. She never asked what kind of lashes I wanted? She just slapped some on, they did look good but I would have wanted them longer.. 3. The tape she used was so rough and kept scraping my eyes. 4. The glue she uses was very strong and stung my eyes and nose. 5. She would yank on my eyelashes to where I would jump. She did do them pretty fast and are lasting as of now so at least that was one good thing. read more

This is my go to spot since I moved to the area so when I first walked in and the woman doing my eyebrows was a little rude I didn't think much of it because pretty eyebrows will blind any red flag, so I waited for about 25 minutes as she told me to come back and shop around for a bit, when I did finally get in the chair she was very hostile/rushing and was hurting me when she told me to look in the mirror I noticed that part of my eyebrow was thinner than the other so I said okay no big deal and told her so, as I was looking I noticed she used the same stick over and over in her wax pot on my forehead and did not change it out right after she used the same wax on another customer than proceeded to wax more customers after me, I didn't say anything still she than got irritated and had another customer come over and tell me that it was just me and it was fine and I was "crazy" her and the other two customers started scolding me, she than told me to hurry up because she was busy and what did she want her to do, she threw my shoulder into the chair after getting irritated on her little tyrant and tried to start threading my eyebrows I told her no and gave her 10$ and left, when I went back to get my money after I composed myself and she ignored/refused to speak to me and hid behind a wall, I've included a picture for reference save your money and find a more hygienic/professional spot! read more

What a rip off and Money hungry salon! I asked for the classic spa pedicure which is priced at $35 (this service is listed on their book with this price) Immediately, the nail specialist (she said she's from Bangladesh) insisted on me getting the service that cost $50.00, when I insisted that all I wanted was the $35.00 service because that's all that I needed at this time, she started frowning and telling me that since I'm just getting the basic, she will not scrub my feet and will not remove callus, and will also just do the basic cleaning without removing the cuticles. I responded and said but I'm getting the classic spa pedicure, its not the basic, she said yes, that is almost like basic and I will only clean and only put nail polish, she is so annoying and keep saying I need to get the $50 service for my feet to get better and the basic will not clean the callus and the cuticles, she keeps insisting that next time I should get the $50 service, after a couple of time of me saying but I'm not getting the basic, I'm getting the classic spa pedicure, she then started ridiculing and embarrassing me By saying I should get $50 service so she can clean my feet better. I am so upset and was ridiculed by this nail specialist, much more like bullying and intimidating me because I would not give in to her demand of me upgrading the service to the one that costs $50. What I'm not understanding is that why this salon offers the basic pedicure and the classic spa pedicure if they're not going to provide these services that customer wants, if the nail specialist don't like to offer these types of services then the owner of this nail salon management should jut remove these 2 items from the list of services so that the customers will not be ridiculed and intimidated if the customer selected these and what we wanted. Then when it's time for me to select the nail polish, she gave me a round palette sample of colors and when I chose the color that I wanted, she then said Oh! those are GEL nail polish, it costs extra, so I then asked her how much more for this gel color? She said it's additional $20 bucks, so I am very furious at this time, and set aside the gel color and told her which one is the one that comes with the classic spa pedicure for $35.00??. She then said it's okay, I'll give that color no extra charge. These nail specialist should learn to respect customers preferences and must stop ridiculing customers. My regular manicurist, at another salon on Garrisonville Rd, was on vacation so I thought I would try Davi Nails since I needed to do some Walmart shopping. The towel used was filthy. My husband thought he got me a gift certificate for gel full set and gel polish pedicure she said normally 80 but he got for 60 he gave to me I went was there for like 4 hours she said it wasn't gel polish pedicure or full set she'd just deduct 60 from what I got done .... Full set gel with design Callus pedicure 2 tips added on big toe gel polish (My daughter got ) Toe nail painted Full set acrylics My total was 177 So minus my 60 gift certificate then she said how much u want to tip I was like 10 she's like well who gets what because I had three different people so I tipped 5 each so out of pocket was 129 + my 60 gift certificate Wtf! I have been going here for nearly two years and have ALWAYS received excellent service. I receive the gel shellac manicure and it lasts a MINIMUM of 6-7 weeks. The attendants are knowledgeable and friendly especially Miss Vi. I also get pedicures and waxing services. I have always been treated well and recommend Davi to everyone. To the woman who spouted off about "Korean" and old food sitting around, hmmm don't know what you are talking about and the people are Vietnamese!! read more

It was a quick stop because my regular place is all the way on 17, it looks like I tried to paint my own nails! So dirty! And don't ever go to this salon. I got my eyebrow tattoo and after a week it faded. The lady that did my tattoo her name is VIvi doesn't know how to take care of her customer. She's only after the money. She didn't put numbing cream and didn't explain to me if I'm allergic to latex gloves and didn't draw first the eyebrow design if I like it or not. This place is probably one of the biggest ripoff establishments ever. I negotiated a price for a manicure and pedicure for $32.99. Davi Nails advertisers a $35 manicure and pedicure combination on their website, but gave me $2 off for military discount. I figured this was a great deal when I purchased it. Well, today my wife went in for her appointment. She presented the gift certificate, but she was told she needed to pay the difference. She was confused and said "what difference". This is where the owner of Davi Nails Spa told her that that total was $76! My wife got two "upgrades" (some dead skin scrubbed off her feet and she wanted the jell pollish), so I guess that was $43 more? I will never purchase anything from this place again. read more

i was just there saturday service was awful we had 4 woman that needed fill with gel polish & 4 spa pedi with gel i am being detailed so you understand we were spending a good $300.00++ 3 eye brows and 1 lil lady just polish hands & toes. from the moment i walked in was treated rudely after 47 minutes & all that was accomplished was gel put on my nail no file horrible while saying slick comments along the way. she stopped to tjrow up under her desk. not the bathroom we all get up to leave she is yelling in their language then says let her go. vee tje owner apologized offered to work on all of us would not let go of my arm. i finally yelled enough for to let me go horrible service!!! do not go terrible nails i hsve tried before never again. i went to lily's outside of walmart where the mail store is fast, efficient & priced very reasonable totally took care of all of us and were happy to do so. read more

Manicure and pedicure where okay.. Owner there're pushed and pushed everyone that came in to get a eyebrow wax. They have a eyelash service for false lashes that on the price list say 40.00 dollars, I made the mistake of telling the lady I was moving in a week and she ended up ripping me off for eyelashes for 200.00, was not extreme lash, was exactly the same as the30 to 40 dollar that is done in salon, well the lashes started to fall out the next day! I went back and the man that was there could not explain why she charged me 200.00 dollars for lashes, but was unable to refund me any money offered to fix but I declined. I showed up there at 9:54am, as they said they opened at 10. The metal "gates" to open up the salon did not come up until 10:15. My lady rushed through my appt (she was VERY nice though) and my basic gel shellac manicure was done in 15 minutes. No hand massage, no lotion, nothing. I had a different color on my left ring finger and it was an extra 5 dollars (seriously?) as my friends were only charged 30. The gel was decent, but 15 minutes and for 35 dollars? As we were leaving, we were all charged on our credit cards but there is no place to "tip" them on the receipt. The lady said that we can buy a candy bar in the line at Walmart and then get cash back to tip her (I'm not joking.) I went there for the convenience but I will travel the extra mile next time and get my massage, good gel manicure, and only have to spend $21. I enjoy being pampered, but apparently this place is a "get em' done quick' bare-minimum kinda place. I won't be going back.
