This was the result of the classic pedicure (Regular polish/No Gel) that I paid $40 for plus a tip. The guy left polish on from my previous pedicure from another place. The vibe in there was super sketchy, the lady that checked me in acted like she wasn't sure what to do and she ended up doing another persons pedicure and they didn't look happy either. read more

Bullied into a service I didn't want, (my skin itches with gel polish, makes no sense, but it does. I was told I had to have gel, "holds longer, it stronger, look better") and received an awful result. Polish lays over the nail and looks like I did it myself. As a newcomer to the area I'm in search of a nail salon and after a bad experience at the highly recommended Sindy's I decided to give this place a try. Super nice staff and very reasonable pricing ($58 for gel manicure and classic pedicure). However... Reasons I won't be going back unfortunately: - they don't line their pedicure bowls - my nail shape on toes and hands is inconsistent - the polish was applied sloppily (examples: edges of toes and hands have no polish; gel polish is applied on top of the cuticle on some fingers) see attached photos I was in desperate need of a pedicure due to some ingrowns and a manicure bc my nails had gotten too long for typing. So on a positive note, my ingrowns were taken care of and my nails are cut and filed so I can work more efficiently on a keyboard. But at the end of the day I need a place where the attention to detail is much higher. Note: cash only for tips. **UPDATE** I think initially I was bothered by some imperfect nails but now that I've gotten over it I have to give credit where credit is do because my nails (and toes) do look great as a whole. read more

The nails started peeling within hours of leaving the shop. I went back to have them redone the next day. It is now a week later and the polish has begun to come off and several nails have chipped, I had gel fill supposedly done, A closer look reflects that the suppose gel did cover the whole nail on the sides. I could not put a star from the transaction I had with them . I got gel nail polish and it started to peel after two weeks. I went back to have them fix it and when I came in there was a couple ahead of me and they told them 20 min I had to wait an hour for them to even get back to me. When they did finally get to me they put another coat on top of the coat that was there they claimed they were trying to make it right but they did what they wanted to do and not what I would expect them to do. I tried to get the managers name and they claimed it was Bella but when I reach out to them to complain I found out that It was just the shops phone number. The guy who answered the phone said that she would get back to me but no one ever called..! Big mistake getting my nails done here. I am reporting this to the BBB !! read more

I read about this business on Google and me being from Fayetteville Nc. I took a chance with this salon, because I had very expensive silver metallic nail tips that I definitely didn't want ruined. My nail technician was named Ms.Julie and I greatly appreciated her taking her time. She definitely follows directions well. The heated nail massage was awesome and so unexpected! I really like this place. I have been to many nail salons in the Fredericksburg area, and this is my favorite. Joe and Julie are professional and friendly, and very accommodating! I have had many services here - standard and gel manicures and pedicures, and SNS, which is my preference. Julie does a beautiful job with the dipping, and does it exactly how I like it - very thin. My manicures have to withstand my piano playing, and with their SNS, they do! I have never had a bad experience, and I will continue to be a happy customer of theirs! read more

I went in to this Nail place for the first time and I was super impressed with the ladies that work here. I got a pedicure done and it was amazing! The lady took her time and did such an amazing job ( sadly I did not get her name) I also got my nails done the powder dip and a different lady did my nails ( sadly I didn't get her name) and she did an outstanding job. John was the person that did my full set "ombré" powder. I originally compromised on a lot of the design that I wanted because they didn't have the polish/glitter/diamonds that i wanted, I settled on snowflakes on 4 fingers & candy cane stripes on 2 others. Showed him a reference photo and he said it was all good & my total would be $85. The shaping was already terrible to me but that's something I can fix myself at home. He attempted the snowflakes and resulted in me deciding to not get any designs at all. Checkout time comes and he tells me that my total is $70. excuse me? for these SHORT, barely shaped nails that are NOTHING like the picture that he said he could accomplish? definitely WILL NOT be spending any more of my money with John nor any other Bella's employees! read more

Worse pedicure and customer service I have ever experienced!!!! There was a 30 minute wait, but I needed a pedicure. When I finally got back to the chair, water was cold. Older lady did my pedicure and she only spent 18 minutes and charged me $10 extra for my scrubbing my feet. I wanted a manicure, she wanted me to do a dip and I said no, I just wanted a regular manicure and she told me she didn't have time. But, she had time to do a dip, go figure. She turned my manicure down because I wasn't spending the money on the dip. Got home and had to refile my toenails because she did such a quick pedicure they were uneven. Usually this salon does a really nice job but I have been really disappointed in my nails the past few times I've been. Which is why I gave three stars. These were done two days ago. I can normally go about three weeks before replacing my dip nails which is great because they are expensive! The nail tech filed them down too hard and ended up cutting my skin as well. HORRIBLE service! Would not recommend this salon. My nail tech spent less than five minutes on my "manicure" before passing me off to someone else to paint. I explained to him that she did not do anything for my nails, and he claimed they were "too short". My cuticles did not get treated... He painted over half of them. The paint was clumpy and un even. I went for the first time yesterday morning. I had no appointment just desperate to get my nails fixed from the disaster gel set I got from a shop in far western Spotsy. Joe quickly got me set up and the work is amazing. The shop is friendly, clean and inviting. I have lost track of how many salons I have been to in the area and in time, I note lacking service. Called in yesterday to see if they could squeeze me in for an emergency: 4 of my nails has started lifting, two broke off and a nail tip that was added by another tech at another salon was waaaaaay too thick. Joe was so polite and understanding on the phone and was able to see me promptly. The salon was so clean and very nice inside with tons of colors to choose from. I knew that I'd probably end up having to get everything removed and get a brand new full set, but Joe tried to salvage whatever he could before having to resort to the full set. He walked me through the game plan and explained why this is the best option, which made me trust him even more. For as much work as he did, I was out in under 1.5 hours and my nails look beautiful. I've never been more satisfied with my nails! I definitely will be back to see Joe regularly! HIGHLY recommend ! read more

I finally visited here after my best friend kept telling me how much she loved them. My boyfriend and I got basic pedicures, and I got a full set. We called a few hours ahead and they were prompt in getting us started soon as we arrived. The place was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. Even though we both did the basic pedicure, it was better than a lot of other basic pedis at other places. The nail techs we had were very friendly! I felt bad about my full set because I wasn't 100% on what I wanted (I hate being the complicated one lol), but my nail tech was extremely patient and helpful. She did an awesome job on what I wanted :) I would definitely say this place is on par with my other favorite nail salon in the area, which is hard to do! I'll definitely be back!! read more

Updated review: Only come here for pedicures. I got my first wax here in 07/17, and still regret it to this day. Come to find out, they were illegally servicing me. The wax tech was not certified as an aesthetician/waxer/salon tech in any way. She double dipped the wax stick, she left me legs covered in sticky wax and tried to send me out like that, she was only wearing one glove (?), and waxed over the same spots multiple times. I never knew their practice was so bad until I got educated on it by a professional. Double dipping is HORRIBLE and dangerous. read more

This is the second time 2nd time ive gotten my feet & nails done at bellas. The first time I got my toes done I had to wait for 30 min under cold water, the lady was nice and was apologetic, i got the classic which was $28 it was a nice experience. The second time I got it done I had a different lady, she took my nail polish off and buffed it. After that she pulled out those slipper things they had and was about ready to put nail polish on my toes but she never soaked my feet nor cleaned it whatsoever so I asked how much it would be, she said it's 28 and I was hesitant because if she was just gonna do that then i'm better off painting my own toes! So I told her this isnt how it usually went and she asked me if I still wanted to do the pedicure. After that conversation she pulled the hose out and put water in the spa thing finally and do what she was supposed to do after I said something however, she was very rude and slammed everything. I was honestly uncomfortable the whole time. After this I got a fill in. Ive been getting my nails done for yrs and the guy who did my nails was basically rushing and barely put effort in, he had polish all over my cuticles, the polish looked expired and I had a fuzz on some of the nails that he attempted to scratch but left alone, as well as a finger print mark on my thumb, i brought it up and he said it was okay. Now the one thing that really made me mad was when I was about to pay and he asked me to basically tip? First off i dont think its right to ever ask to tip, granted I was about to regardless the service but if you have the audacity to ask knowing u gave me a terrible service?
