Instead, I found myself undergoing additional procedures, additional anesthesia, additional recovery time -- only to still feel disappointed. Beyond the surgical outcome, I found his demeanor to be extremely arrogant and dismissive of my concerns, which made an already difficult experience even harder. I wanted to simply make an appointment. I was told I had to give them my insurance information before they would book an appointment. I told them I have Medicare and my insurance should be in their records and it has not changed. I gave them my Supplement number. That wasn't good enough. She wanted my Medicare number. I have not received my new Medicare card so that meant giving them my Social Security number on the phone. I asked if I could bring it to my appointment. They refused. No number--- no appointment. What are they worried about? Its not like I haven't been there and given them this information before. Why couldn't they save it if it is so essential before booking appointments. I am now looking for another practice that will let me make an appointment. Too bad because I did like Dr. Blackwell. Maybe a nicer office that answers their phone in a timely manner will be a better fit for me anyway. After…read morea consultation in Oct 2022 for a philtrum lip lift I scheduled the surgery and he did it in May 2023. From the beginning I made it very clear to him that I wanted my philtrum not only shortened but my vermilion border fuller. Immediately after the surgery I could tell he did not do what I had asked. He took out very little skin in the philtrum and under my nostrils. In my checkup appointment 7 days after the surgery I expressed to him I was not happy with the results of the surgery as it was not what we had talked about. I made an appointment that day for a revision. I went back Sept 29th and he did the surgery a second time. As he was stitching me up he said "ok, your vermillion border is at the middle of your canine teeth, I'm not going to pull it up anymore." When he handed me the mirror afterwards I noticed immediately that it was NOT at the middle of my canine teeth. It was still at the bottom. He lied. Not wanting to argue with him I left displeased. A week later I went back for my post op checkup and told him it was not at the middle of my canine teeth like he had told me. All he could say was "well I thought it was." Yes, that was his lame response. So once again after TWO SURGERIES he did not take enough skin out from under my nostrils like I specifically asked multiple times. What is even more upsetting is, now after these two surgeries my vermilion border is actually thinner than it was to start with because he has pulled up my cupids bow and not taken enough skin out from under my nostrils. It's been a month since my surgery and now I'm suffering from stitch abscesses because it took the moron over 20 minutes just to stitch me up. It didn't take him nearly that long the first time. It actually hurt because he put too many stitches in and pulled them way too tight. Now they aren't dissolving (see pic below). I had to go to another doctor to get Clindamycin antibiotic to heal the abscesses. This whole fiasco has been a complete nightmare and a waste of my time and money. Dr. Branham should not be allowed to touch anyones face! He will tell you what you want to hear just to get your money, and then he will do as he wishes, not as you want. He needs to go back to medical school and learn how to stitch a wound. If you're considering him I would look elsewhere for a plastic surgeon.

I chose to incur the cost of having another surgeon remove the implants rather than allowing him to perform the procedure. Later I learned Dr. Hart failed to recognize I suffer from a congenital defect called pectus excavatum, as well as tubular constriction of my breasts which had affected the height of one of my breast folds. The latter was extremely obvious and should not have been missed. Now that I'm older and more educated on the subject, I'm able to see just how negligent Dr. Hart was. I put off getting my wisdom teeth removed for nearly a decade because every surgeon I saw told me I would be left with permanent nerve damage based on the positioning of my teeth. Dr. Morris got my wisdom teeth out with no lasting impact. I had a terrible experience with another surgeon preparing me for major orthognathic surgery (double jaw surgery). Dr. Morris took over and made sure I was informed every step of the way. He stayed with me through my recovery, often accommodating last minute appointments on a weekly basis. He even showed up to the hospital to check on me on a weekend when I was readmitted after my surgery (at no fault of his own- I'm immune compromised and had some persistent infection issues). The whole process was easy to navigate, including appointments, dealing with insurance, etc.. His team is awesome, and they always made me feel at home in the office. I truly felt like everyone there was celebrating my progress each week I came in during my recovery. I see some of these other reviews complaining about his bedside manner. If you want someone to coddle you and sugarcoat things, he's probably not your guy. If you want someone to actually support you, show you genuine respect, give you real medical advice, and deliver perfect surgical outcomes, you've found the right place. The medical procedures he did for me have changed my life, and I'm so glad I trusted him. Dr. Morris is the best of the best.
