I have to say that the staff here are some of the nicest and most professional I have encountered both in the past and currently. Like Dr. Nevers, Dr. Dill is practicing dentist and also teaches at the U of M School of Dentistry, which is (I think) really unique and gives Dr. Dill a lot of current perspective in the field. I wouldn't call myself a 'coward' when it comes to going to the dentist, but Dr. Dill was incredibly gentle and thorough; he did the cleaning and the exam himself, which was a first for me compared to my last dentist. Dr. Dill addressed all of my dental concerns (i.e., a recessed gum line on a molar that is sensitive to hot/cold, options for whitening my teeth - which I asked about!, replacing my nightguard) and offered sensible, cost-effective solutions, which I really appreciate/d. I have a very high pain threshold and I almost passed out (but that might've been from the scariness of the drill-like sound). Very traumatic. They also said I had several cavities and scheduled a filling for the next month. I ended up waiting and going to my childhood dentist who has always been amazing and he said I didn't have any cavities, so I'm not sure what happened with this place. The reason for two stars instead of just one is because they were very helpful in getting the exact amount my fillings would cost from my insurance company. As someone who has tried to do that before it has rarely worked out well. I will definitely not be going back.
