Also, when I called to leave a message about my medication refills, the voicemail drops the call within 30 seconds. I…read morewas switched to Dr. Patel after Dr. Sankoorikal left, and I am terribly disappointed with the service I've received. My first visit with him was just ok. He doesn't come off as caring, he's not very personable, and I just didn't get a good feeling from him. I had my second visit with him today, and it was terrible. I told him my problem, he asked a couple questions, did a brief exam, then prescribed some medication. I then let him know I had something else to discuss, and he told me I couldn't. He said, "with these 15 minute ones, they want me to stick to one thing". He then said, well if it's quick I can try to help, while standing at the partially open door. Of course I declined at that point. He then said "they want us to do one thing well instead of two things shitty". I felt totally rushed and uncomfortable, and I was actually taken back by his remark. IMO we don't know each other well enough to use cuss words in a professional setting. Especially when I'm on the losing side of the conversation. I've never had a doctor that refused to help me. I could possibly understand if we were close to the 15 minute mark, but we weren't. I spoke with him for less than 10 minutes.This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a doctor's appointment, and I will not be returning. The rest of the staff is warm and friendly. I've always had great interactions with them. Maybe the other doctors here do a better job of making their patients feel heard, but Ashish Patel certainly DOES NOT.

You can never reach an…read moreactual person, they don't respond to text messages (their preferred method of communication), their voicemail system is a jumbled mess that frequently disconnects for no reason, some physicians won't refill critical medications due to their personal "philosophical views" on certain medications (forcing patients to go cold turkey, which can induce a stroke with certain anti-anxiety medications). I never felt so abused by my primary care provider (and I've had some real doozies in my day). Someone is going to suffer a major medical issue due to their lack of care and failure to promptly address patient needs.

Dr. Castle told me she would prescribe the medication as long as I came into seeing her. I was always good at doing this. My husband recently passed away and this has caused me so much stress. Now is not the time in my life to refuse filling my medications. I'm so very disappointed in both of them. Finding a phychiatrist has not been easy. My SonderMind experience has been horrible.
