David arrived on short notice to redo a terrible tv mounting job that a different company did the day before on my 77" LG OLED. He recommended the correct mount, which he had with him already, and got the work done within an hour. We are thrilled with the setup and will enjoy it for a long time. Thanks for being awesome!

I needed someone to mount a new 77" LG G5 OLED and connect it to my new Sonos Arc Ultra surround audio system. This was an expensive home theater and I didn't want to have to add another $1000 mounting the tv and hiding the cables if I could avoid it. I called David AV Installations to describe the job. I was not only impressed with how much cheaper the quote was than others offered, but I described that I wasn't sure where the studs were or if I needed a recessed media box. He said they could bring a low profile mount and recessed media box just in case we need them. We ended up needing the tv mount and David was also able to provide three 4k HDMI's that were much better than the cables I would've ordered. David was meticulous with measurements and more than gracious to position the tv just how we wanted it. He is also an electrician which helped in rerouting the power to a recessed plug behind the tv. The mounted tv not only looks amazing but the sound and picture are likely much better because of the little details. The job was less than $500 total including the tv mount and hdmi's he provided. I would highly recommend supporting a small business like David's over some of the other tv mounting businesses that will likely cost much more for the same high end installation.

I'd give zero stars if I could. I booked a consultation through the website. It added to my calendar immediately. The day of I still hadn't heard from them so I called ahead of the time to try to confirm. No answer, left a message. They never returned my call. 20 minutes after the appointment was meant to begin they had not shown and I called again. Again no answer. I left a voicemail again and they STILL have not returned my call. I wasted an afternoon of PTO for them to not show. This company has no respect for their customer's time. Now we're scrambling to find another company and another free afternoon. read more

When I first moved to my new apartment David came and not only installed my new TV on the wall but also organized and hid the wires, installed a heavy mirror, hung our pictures. Just recently he came over again to run an ethernet cable through the wall for my son's PC. I just had a home office built and the crew that did the construction offered to hang the tv on the front wall. Unfortunately they hung it about 10" off center which I tried to work with but decided to have someone come and fix it. I called around on a Saturday morning and no one had any avails for me... except David. He promised to try to work me in to his schedule, same day. He arrived and straightened the tv, found the studs, ran my AV cables behind the wall and kept everything very clean. Secure Sight did a great job for me -- I had them run 27 ethernet runs into a network closet, and…read moremounted 3 access points, 5 cameras, a couple chimes, and many wall jacks with cat6a. All in a tight 1.5 week time window. I had just purchased a new-to-me, but old, house, and I wanted to get ethernet in every room, with cameras on all the angles I care about, and a couple extras for potential future projects. I have my own network gear, but I didn't want to do the runs myself. Harout, Sevak, and Victor were great. They answered my inquiry quickly, came out to inspect (with 2 people), gave me an immediate quote, and walked through their estimation about how'd they'd do it. I got multiple other quotes for the same job. Secure Sight was not the cheapest, but it had the greatest value, and the job was amazing. Harout replied to every inquiry very quickly. They took 4 days for my run, and it was not an easy job -- my house is on a hill and it is difficult to do the runs I requested. I was amazed at the minimal amount of holes they needed to do to actually fish everything up, and they did it better than I could have imagined -- making the holes on the outside in invisible places, covered by color-matched covers. They even talked me through potential other places to mount things to prevent extra holes in my drywall. They went above and beyond and told me that they noticed I may not have a suitable coax cable wired to my house for cable internet, and helped me talk through the tech that arrived to do the coax run in a way that would minimize anything visible on the house, and even helped the tech run the coax in. Amazing job, would recommend for anything you need here -- I was familiar with the gear I wanted exactly, and they respected it and hooked everything up. They are also knowledgeable about the gear if you aren't and would be familiar enough to walk you through it. If anything is amiss, Harout personally takes it upon himself to make sure it's perfect, even after the job is done.

Out of frustration, I was determined not to cheap out and dug into the options. Ubiquiti had a solid reputation for quality and reliability, so I went about finding someone who handled their products. Yelp was a great resource and I narrowed down my choices to LA Wifi Guys, as their information gave me the most confidence. Made an appointment and David came out. Really liked his approach. Honest and transparent and not hustling me for upsells. He described my options clearly and it was easy to decide what I wanted. Not cheap, but very fair considering the higher quality solution and more experienced installation. It actually cost notably less than my original set up, which was done 6 years ago and had less features and most of all turned out crappy. David gave me an estimate for parts delivery, which turned out to be exact, and we made the install appointment for the day after. He came in and was very polite, careful and steadfast. He also was great at explaining how to operate my new system. But most of all, weeks after the install, I am sooo happy with it! Really great setup with excellent user interface and excellent camera resolution. I've already shared videos and stills with the neighborhood (as we are having coyote issues), and it was so quick and easy to do. A+++ experience all around! Thank you so much, David!

On the day of the appointment, the technician, Paul, was gracious, kind, and actually arrived before I did. He even told me to take my time getting there. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to show me the old battery, explaining the signs that indicated how old it was and why it had been causing problems. He also discussed options for getting an extra key fob in the future and provided me with pricing information so I could have a backup made when I'm ready. Had David come after using him before to mount TV, to install an outdoor WiFi 7 access point with a hardwired ethernet run from my router to a mounting location on the exterior of the house, including PoE injector, surge protector, weatherproof cable entry, and a proper ground line to my house electrical service ground rod. David actually understood what I was trying to do. I came in with a specific setup (TP-Link EAP772-Outdoor, 2.5G PoE+, surge protection, AFC-enabled 6 GHz) and he didn't try to talk me into anything different or upsell me. He asked the right questions about the cable run, the wall material, where the AP needed to face for coverage, and walked through the install plan before quoting. The workmanship is exactly what you'd hope for. Clean cable runs, properly secured with outdoor-rated staples, sealed wall penetration with weatherproof grommet, and the grounding was done by code -- single-point ground to the existing electrode, no separate rod, no splices in the ground wire. The surge protector is mounted properly at the cable entry point, and the AP is positioned for optimal line-of-sight to the yard. Everything looks like a professional did it, because one did. Customer service was on point start to finish. Showed up on time, kept me updated, cleaned up after the work, and walked me through what was installed and why. Even helped me verify the 2.5 Gbps link was negotiating properly before they left. Pricing was genuinely reasonable for the project and definitely less than I'd budgeted, and well below what I was quoted by another installer who wanted to push me toward their preferred equipment. Would absolutely use them again for the next phase of this project (running speaker wire and audio components to a detached garage). If you have a specific install in mind and want someone who'll execute your plan properly rather than override it, David's your guy. read more

Thank Goodness I have found David. Now I feel I do not have to worry about any problems I have with TV and audiovisual equipment at home. David is extremely knowledgeable. When my TV was not working, he came and explained to me how he tested the various components of my TV system, and how he came to the conclusion of what to change and how to fix it and he fixed it in no time at a very reasonable price. Because of the great experience I had with him, I subsequently asked him to move and install a table and monitoring system for a computer system and again he did that in a reliable fashion, with no worries. I can trust David to do an excellent job at the best price and take care of my concerns. I asked him to fix my other TV and install headphones so my children could listen to the TV while I work. He was able to come at the end of his busy day, buy the appropriate headphones and equipment and did an excellent job of it all. He is so hardworking and good at his job and very good at trying to accommodate busy schedules. I will be using David for any subsequent TV and audiovisual repairs and installations and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Yelp deleted my review that I posted in February. I think it may be a computer defect that YELP doesn't fix. There is nothing wrong with my review above so yelp don't delete it please!! He was friendly, professional, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He took the time to make sure the TV was mounted perfectly, answered all of my questions, and even gave me a few helpful tips for getting the best setup. David is very reliable, works quickly, and performs top-notch work. Plus, he will travel to most parts of the Los Angeles area (e.g., I live in Glendale). I've hired David to do a number of jobs, the biggest of which was mounting my 65-inch TV to my living room wall. He did a tremendous job: all of the wires were hidden, and he gave me options for the types of mounts I wanted, which he installed seamlessly. I was very pleased with the work and the price point. I also hired David to install flood lights over my garage, and to install a chandelier in my kitchen. Like his work on the TV installation, the work was absolutely top rate. David was great. He came out to assess the room where the new AVR and speakers would be set up, and gave us a fair quote. Came on time and set up the system professionally. Made sure that he spoke with me when there were options available for anything, i.e. speaker placement, height, etc. What we thought would be an easy rewiring of an existing 5.1 speaker system, turned out to be a challenge (1929 house with old walls). He came through and was able to place the speakers in the right places. He also was able to troubleshoot an error message (HDCP 2.2) hooking up my new Amazon Fire Cube and my 4 year old Samsung 4kUHD TV. Who knew that the HDMI ports on the back of the TV would be different from each other with only HDMI 3 being HDCP 2.2 compliant. I would definitely recommend him for an AVR/Speaker setup. read more

David has done two recent jobs for us. He installed lighting along our front steps. To do so he brought several sample lights and came at night so we could see how each of them looked and illuminated the front walk. It made it so much easier to choose. Then he installed them two days later. He also made some improvements in the close where the timer was installed so that access was easier. Yesterday he installed a sprinkler timer. The new timer required additional work that he hadn't anticipated but he had it all done in quick order at a reasonable price. I would call on him for any electrical work in the future. read more
