He doesn't take my insurance but had an appt available the next day to get me right in. It turned out the tooth had to be dealt with by an oral surgeon. Dr. Hollis' staff did their best to get me an appt with a surgeon within my insurance, which couldn't happen, but they tried. The quality of care and concern, the expertise, pleasantries and efforts to help me speaks volumes in my book. I highly recommend Dr. Hollis' office! I will be paying out of pocket to go back ANYTIME for my preventive needs!!! A beautiful office also.

I happen to be very lucky re: my teeth. I've had minimal dental work in my life and...knock wood...never had a cavity. So, my dental visits are purely for cleanings and check-ups. That said, they were recommended by someone that has had a ton of dental issues over the years and that has been a patient for quite some time. They do not care about patients, they care about your money…read more Years ago, I would recommend this office the old staff was so kind. 5 years ago it started going downhill. As someone in their thirties, a few years ago when needing a flipper (paid for it upfront as he will not make it until you pay), I was told he needed to call my parents to make sure they would pay if I didn't before he made it. As someone in there thirties this was absurd and for no reason. It was extremely disrespect to my family and I and they did in fact call my father and asked for money. Years later, I needed a tooth pulled. They no longer take my insurance but I was paying cash and pay upfront and they again wanted to speak with my parents and have a "contract" for them to pay for my service if I did not. For what reason I do not know, I've never not paid for my visit, never missed an appointment never gave them any reason to act like that they really wanted money that instant even though I already paid! As asking for a contract from a 35 year old's parents in extremely uncalled for I've stopped going here that was it for me. Dr Dunham himself does great work but he's socially awkward and says very rude things. The staff has a sense of entitlement and will speak to you like they're disgusted. Customer service is not for them. Unfortunate I've known other people with the same problem here lately. To be treated like a child and told I'm gonna have you in dentures by the time you're 30 just didn't settle well with me. I don't have problematic teeth. Im blown away with the things they really said to me and how they treated me multiple times. I do not feel comfortable at all there.

I was referred to Dr. MaiAn Vu by a friend who, like me, is a chicken when it comes to going to the dentist. She said, "you will love her", and my friend was right. Although I live in the Saratoga Springs area, I had an emergency and needed to go to the Chauvin Family Dentistry's Clifton Park office because they were open that day. That's where I met an "Angel", Ellen, who is (or was the last time I was there) the receptionist in their Clifton Park office. This was during a very bad time in my life when I was going through some serious financial struggles (my husband - now ex - disappeared one day and left me with a stack of overdue, unpaid bills and no money). Ellen was compassionate and understanding. She worked it out so that I could pay the bill off a bit each month without shame. The overall care that I received was outstanding. I wish that I could have continued to go to the Clifton Park office but their practice was not on my medical plan's approved list. Unfortunately, paying out of pocket for routine cleaning and x-rays was not an option. Even though I had been going to a dentist closer to home (and on my program) for periodic check-ups and cleanings, when I needed a crown I went to Dr. Vu and to Ellen's office. I paid out of pocket because crowns were not covered in my dental plan (they just want to pull your teeth!). Because they are THAT GOOD! I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Vu and Ellen. Unfortunately, once again, their practice is not on my fiance's dental plan's approved list, which is really a bummer.

The Best Dentist…read more EVER!!! Listen...I have a serious phobia of the dentist, always have. Like lay there and cry and clench my fists and sweat. I've given birth to 4 human beings, and still the dentist office scares me more. Its a legitimate problem. After a horrendous experience a few years ago at Aspen Dental (dont ever go there!), I found Dr. Milza! He's amazing, and so is his staff. He's fast and friendly and kind and gentle. He treats everyone like a person, with feelings. And is so sincere. I actually stopped taking my children to the pediatric dentist and now they all go to Dr. Milza and really do love going. Trust me when I say, he is the BEST! I still tear up and cringe but he makes me feel at ease...and not like a huge baby.

But they totally missed a growing cavity under a filling, to such a degree that the tooth had to be removed. It was the first tooth I have ever lost, because I take good care of them, or thought I did. What was annoying was that when I asked to see the x-ray from the prior year, it was visible on that x-ray. From across the room. So that cost me nearly $1000 and some pain. I now go to another dentist who does a very thorough job. The problem with this practice may be that new dentists are rotated through by the main dental practice in Saratoga. Sink or swim. But my experience here is: buyer beware!

Dr. Juracka is amazing; he is extremely gentle, he's very kind and I'm happy to have him as my dentist. His work is beautiful and he completes the work painlessly. My bridge needs replacing after about twenty years. I am a bit scared of having it removed but I have every faith in this dentist and his work. Kym and Kim are both wonderful! The cleanings I get here are quick and painless. I have gotten my oral hygiene habits down pat; my gums are healthy and I do not need scraping when I get my teeth cleaned. Not scared to get a cleaning anymore. Diana at the front office is also wonderful. She's friendly, remembers your name and asks about things in your life. She helps make you comfortable from the moment you walk into the office. I highly recommend this practice. Especially if you're scared of the dentist, this is the practice for you.
