Temecula Medical made several adjustments to their schedule to get me in quickly as I have cancer and other serious health concerns that require immediate and uninterrupted monitoring and care. I initially saw Tatiana and she could not have been more pleasant or patient as she listened intently to my long list of ailments. At the end of the appointment it was most impressive to see she had not missed or neglected to note even one of the many issues I'd spoken about, the ten plus referrals I needed, and a list of the medial items I need to maintain my relative health. I was listened to, all of my concerns were addressed and all referrals submitted before a day had passed. Truly above and beyond care for this extremely complicated and difficult cancer patient. I think the whole office had the best energy. I also found the waiting room spacious and relaxing with the abundant windows and light. Everyone had a smile on their faces and they let me stay well into their lunch period so I could take my time signing the many releases for information and finish what was needed. I can't imagine why they don't have five stars as I'd happily refer them to my best friends if asked. Thank you to Tatiana and the rest of the staff who welcomed me and gave me the time I needed to do what was critical for my healthcare. I look forward to continuing to work with them. This was my 1st visit with her and she took the time to read through my chart and was able to start our visit with a thorough knowledge of who I was and what my medical history was. She listened to me, took care of all paperwork and already had all bloodwork ordered in the time it took me to walk downstairs to the lab. Her kind and gentle nature definitely shone through. But what I loved the most was that as we discussed different ideas she always resorted back to saying "I am an EVIDENCE-based doctor and make my decisions that way. It breaks my heart that I have to come back and update a once glowing testimony about this place…read morebut after being an established patient at this office for primary care I now am being left on a back burner and having my needs ignored. What once felt like a teammate on my side helping me reach my healthcare goals has now become just another form of control over my life keeping me "in my place" and disallowing me from getting what I need to live my best life. Gatekeeping behavior from office staff who shut me down and are rude and abrupt when dealing with me. They put things in my chart that rightly have no place and then when questioned about it my request are outright ignored. They misinterpret my requests and then send me a cold sharp email outlining why they will not assist me with my request even though they openly admit in the email to have misinterpreted my request and are just trying to make my life difficult. Be careful who you trust to take care of you and your family because once they start putting stuff into your medical records its there for forever and there is no correction to their mistakes that rooted in their misinterpretation of the information you provide them. They will then blame you for not having provided true and correct information so I would advise everyone to take your request to this office in writing and only in writing and to always retain a written copy for your own records so they can not do to you what they are doing to me.

Very knowledgeable and willing to listen. One day I messaged her, right after Christmas 2025. She usually gets right back to her patients, at least in my case, but in this case it was several weeks with no response so I figured maybe she was on a vacation. I was quite taken back when I found out that she had left the practice as I had just saw her a week prior to Christmas. . I never heard from her and I was pretty close to her as a patient and she knew so much about me and my medical and health needs. She helped me profoundly and I was absolutely grieved to see her go. It has been difficult to find a doctor like her. I have several conditions and a rare disease. She did not hesitate with unconventional and traditional approaches, and to listen to the patient and their needs as well as how they were feeling, to together come up with the solution that would alleviate the issues as well as provide hope for getting on a good path to overall health and well being and move forward to see what will work optimally for each of unique case. It is now April 2026 and I still am looking for a doctor that is even somewhat what Deborah Layton was.
