This week I became aware of another benefit they do is help patients with toxins that their bodies may have a problem with. and other areas of natural medical health. This company is A SCAM!! They signed me up for a credit card to receive help with my neck issues. Brandon adjusted me one of the early on apts and actually Injured me worse than I ever was. I had constant headaches and needed to get adjusted to relieve them! So basically all my adjustments I paid $2,000 for were to undo the damage of this one adjustment. I now just got charged $480.00 INTEREST on my credit card they told me to sign up for for their services! Nobody reached out when I was upset about all this occurring, they claim to be religious but this is sickening what they're doing for money! I would not recommend going to David Diehl at Maximized Life Chiropractic. I went for one adjustment and have more back and neck pain now. They did my adjustment and then went over my X-ray that showed I did not have many issues. I believe they made up some things to tell me I needed an adjustment. I called after and let David know my issues and they wanted me to come back for another adjustment which I did not feel comfortable with. I tried calling David to speak with him about the next steps and left messages and never received a call back. I have a feel he knows he messed up my neck and back as my X-rays looked fine and my doctor did one before and no issues came up. Please look into another place or keep your guard up here read more

I now feel lucky I got out of his office with basically a very poor adjustment and actually am in worse shape than not going at all. Laura, dear, anyone who touts themselves as being Christian is usually just the opposite. His behavior does not surprise me in the least. I myself am an atheist and was very offended by the loud music playing which included Christian lyrics. My instincts were not at 100% or I would have run out of his office. This is the third chiropractor I have seen and I am very happy with the results. He is very knowledgeable about the spine and nervous system and is quick answers my numerous questions about nutrition. I have been sad to miss adjustments when he is out of town, but it makes me feel safe to know that he is going out of town for conferences to stay up to date with chiropractic and maximized living updates!! He is not the kind of chiropractor who goes to school for a few years and then practices for 20 years... He is continuously educating himself. I TRUST his diagnosis. The exercises he recommended are not very fun, but I do them because I want my muscles to function they way they are supposed to. You can't just get better without making an effort. It is truly difficult for me to write this review as I do not like to be negative. HOWEVER, I do feel it's extremely important to share my experience so others can learn from my mistakes & avoid the same issues. I absolutely do not, I repeat DO NOT recommend him for chiropractor care!!!Please do not make the same mistake I made by falling for his sales pitch & Christian advertisement. I received treatment from Dr. Diehl for 3 years in the hope to resolve my long list of issues. At the time I started treatment, I was desperate to relieve the pain, I was literally in tears. Looking back now, I truly believe he used that to his advantage. He is a great salesman & is very convincing. After the consult & first adjustment, I have to admit, I felt great! Therefore, I started treatment immediately. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not doing my homework & researching chiropractors prior to going to Dr. Diehl. In the beginning he was attentive & communicative about how he can help me & in what ways. Then, how much it cost was a huge SHOCK! He offered a plan to save money by paying a lump sum all upfront. Unfortunately, in my vulnerability & desperation, I didn't know any better or realize this was not a common practice. So, I did it. I was honestly sick to my stomach for months after I paid for the treatment all up front. After a while, I noticed a HUGE SHIFT in the treatment, bed side manner, interactions etc. Dr. Diehl all of a sudden was too busy to have a conversation with me about my re-occurring concerns &/or new symptoms. Treatment he discussed prior was all of a sudden forgotten &/or not done / dismissed. Each treatment felt rushed & was NOT thorough at all. Often times, I was in & out of there in 5 minutes. I literally felt like I was apart of a heard of cattle that he pushed through, nodded when talked to & stamped for his paycheck. In every attempt to discuss my treatment, he was not attentive at all. He was scattered all over the place. No eye contact. No concern. No support. He also NEVER remembered anything about my case or prior discussions etc. (even after years of going to him). I even attended SEVERAL of his workshops & fitness programs offered, but it felt rushed, sales-ish & had NO results. Being a Christian woman myself, I kept coming up with all kinds of excuses to continue my faith in him & that I was the one who was taking things wrong. Well.... after a while... I decided to keep a log noting my observations, experiences, etc. After a few weeks, then months... I noticed the pattern....... the results were disheartening to say the least. I decided to talk to him & be upfront with where I was coming from. I mean after all, he is a person too & maybe doesn't realize it. So, during my appointment...I began to make the attempt to reach out. Yet again, he was not attentive, not listening, & was scatter brained. I was again rushed through the adjustment & he then suggested that I make a separate appointment separately to "talk". So, after leaving that appointment in discomfort both physically & emotionally, I made the separate appt. During that appointment. He was again, not attentive, not listening & did not seem to care about anything I was saying. He literally had a blank stare. The following appts. all of a sudden, he didn't have time to see me or there was a glitch in the system & needed to reschedule. That moment, I realized it's a lost cause. HE IS A SHIESTER! I was then on the hunt for a new chiropractor. In the process of doing my homework / research, several chiropractors diagnosis were VERY different from Dr. Diehls. I was NEVER informed from Dr. Diehl of the other issues I had & apparently Dr. Diehls methods for treating me were not only NOT helping, but in turn caused more issues & new issues. He definitely does not know what he is doing. I am still sick to my stomach at the price this has cost me in every way (financially, physically & emotionally). It is unfortunate, but the truth. DO NOT GET TREATMENT FROM DR.DIEHL! BTW- All the gadgets I was given for treatment by Dr. Diehl are actually NOT helpful for spine correction. Do Not Use Them! NOTE: I am happy to report, I found a new chiropractor who has been amazing & improvements noticed just after a month of treatment. read more

I have had a great experience with Dr. Diehl. He has been very honest and straight forward with me, not promising miracles, but really working with me to take care of pain in my lower back and a very stiff neck. He is always very jovial with me and asks about my family and work. Plus, he is not just concerned with getting me in and out quickly (except when I am late for an appointment, then he was very thorough yet quick), but stops to ask me about my health even exercise and eating habits. I have come to find out that he offers a comprehensive program through Maximized Living that has got me thinking about my all around lifestyle. I am eating better and know a lot more about how good hormones can be stimulated by the right kind of exercise. The atmosphere in the office is VERY friendly and the music is wonderful, plus I always learn from the motivational videos playing on his large screen TV in the "warm-up" area. After he aligns my back and adjusts my neck, I feel "switched on" and all the nerves are firing just right for the energy needed for the day!! After I watch video from the link on the Ad. they give you an appointment through the net, I filed up everything as of today at 5 pm. Even the system put the appointment in my google calendar. So i was ready to go in. but I felt something wrong, usually, doctors offices call for confirmation. I decided to give a call before heading to the office. No Answer, basically saying voice message not working functionally. Then I got call back in 5 min. I've been going to Dr. Diehl for about four years now. I started going because everything hurt. I had been seeing another chiropractor, but it just wasn't helping. My neck, mid and lower back hurt all the time. I stopped being able to run cross country in high school because my knees had so many structural and soft tissue problems. After looking at my xray, he was able to tell the type of injuries I had as a baby. When I started care, he gave me exercises and stretches to do at home to help develop the muscles to hold the adjustments better. No one had ever told me to do that before, and it helped! I can happily say that I can run again without pain. I don't have headaches or neck pain or back pain anymore. I have never had a chiropractor that truly cared about what I cared about. He made my pains and problems his concern. The other patients in the office are really great too. I have been able to befriend a lot of them. For the past two years, I've been on a mission to get to the root cause of my psoriasis. In working with an excellent doctor, specializing in natural approaches to treat ROOT CAUSES, I was able to get my issue well under control (via fairly strict diet & exercise). Unfortunately, I still had minor flare-ups - I wanted it GONE. Her last recommendation was to see a chiropractor. I had put this off, not seeing how it could have any real impact on my issue. My Mom had been going to Dr. Diehl for a while, and had been trying to convince me to go. She kept telling me, "He preaches EVERYTHING you're in to", but I still didn't get how it applied to my situation. Go figure, I'd also been dealing with a lower back issue, due to the positions my job has me in. It would disable me for a few days, maybe once, every other year. Well, this year, it was on, so on I went, to "My Mom's guy". Turns out, I had a slipped disc. Dr. Diehl took time to ice it down, adjusted me, & gave me a plethora of information for follow up. I even received a call from him that evening, to make sure all was well. Needless to say, my wife & I became regular patients. Of course, afterwards, I stumble upon Yelp, to find some of these extremely critical reviews. For the next few weeks, I was watching, with a critical eye. Not ONCE have I seen, even a glimmer, of anything negative from Dr Diehl, or his staff. They have all been extremely professional, pleasant, and no matter how busy they are, we have never felt rushed, or ignored in any way. Quite the opposite, in that Dr Diehl has always been uplifting, takes interest in our goings on, and makes certain we receive the treatment needed for the particular session. I would NEVER recommend seeing this guy to anyone I know or don't know for that matter. I went to see Diehl after being told he was a Christian. He gave himself a very bad wrap after injuring me severely after my second adjustment. The man seems to have an angry disposition and quite frankly took it out on his patient that day, being me. His adjustment was very forceful with a rammed knee to the back later finding out that I received a back sprain from him along with many other conditions that I am still dealing with. He never took any responsibility and lied saying that I came into his office this way. Not to mention that I strictly came in for health reasons only! He didn't and hasn't presented himself as a man of God, not producing any fruits of the spirit whatsoever. Be very careful to being conned into him presenting himself as an example of the Christian faith, with scripture up on his office plasmas and him talking about his love for God def didn't reflect on him. Then, I come to find out that he hurt someone else, which that person told me directly. When I confronted Diehl about it he yelled at me saying that was none of my business. Bottom line, the guy messed up, big time. His pride got in the way along with his anger. After almost 2 years later I can say that I am just finally starting to get better. I am thankful that I am recovering however I feel that it is VERY important for everyone to know that this man is capable of hurting anyone.
